The deliciousness of stability. I couldn't tell the difference between the "Ginger Highball" and the "Kaku Highball" that were brought to me, so I asked again, but unfortunately I was given the wrong information. Other than that, it was truly Toriki style. I love the potato salad ♥️

After work, I took the JR Loop Line to Morinomiya Station around 9:30 PM, where the restaurant was about 80% full. I was seated at the counter and ordered a lemon squash, power ramen, chicken spice bowl, and grilled chicken breast with special sauce. The lemon squash arrived in about 2 minutes and was delicious. The grilled chicken was slightly burnt but tasty, and the bowl was decent. The soup was average, and the ramen was okay. I used one shareholder coupon but still had to pay an extra 440 yen due to a 10 yen price increase. I paid with my card and left.

I dropped by Mori no Miya for the first time in a while. It was around 11 PM, so most of the shops were almost closed. I saw a shop with a sign saying it's open until 1 AM, so I decided to go in thinking I could relax there. When I entered, I was smoothly guided by what seemed to be a part-time staff. I wish they had explained things to me at that time. Seriously. First, I ordered a drink and found out that I could use a tablet to see the menu. I was shocked when I looked at the menu. I understand that there are limited-time menu items. That's unavoidable. However, most of the popular skewers were sold out. I honestly considered leaving, but since I had already ordered a drink, I reluctantly chose from the remaining options. The dishes ranged from slightly bland skewers to super intense fried chicken. It all depends on the skill of the chef, but it's really sad. Suddenly, they confirmed the last order. I later found out that it was due to COVID-19, and they close at 12 AM. Why didn't they inform me of the last order time and the large number of sold-out items when I arrived? Even though it's a major chain restaurant. If the last order is approaching or if there are many sold-out items, any other restaurant would always inform you, right? Especially if they have changed their business hours, I would want them to inform me even more. By the way, I want to make it clear that I don't dislike Torikizoku. I actually like it and support it. That's why I was extremely shocked by my experience at the Mori no Miya store. That's all!

Torikizoku is a yakitori restaurant with great value for money! The yakitori itself is delicious. The regular meat, tsukune, skin, soft bone skewers, and salad are all great too!

Born in Higashi Osaka, the popular yakitori restaurant "Torikizoku" has expanded to Tokyo and Nagoya in addition to its base in Kansai. Known affectionately as "Toriki," this restaurant offers all items for 280 yen each. Torikizoku aims to open 1000 stores by 2016, with a new store opening every week. I visited the store in Morinomiya, which opened on January 27, 2010. They use domestically sourced chicken meat, never using frozen products, and each skewer is carefully prepared. Their homemade sauce is made with plenty of vegetables like onions, carrots, ginger, and apples, giving it a subtly sweet taste. The Torikizoku grill, designed specifically for their dishes, uses far-infrared rays to evenly cook the inside and outside of the ingredients. Despite the 280 yen price tag, the portions are satisfyingly large for all the yakitori options. Every menu item is priced at 280 yen, making it easy to order more and more. Among their specialties, the "Momo Kizoku Yaki (salt)" is particularly large and juicy, providing great satisfaction. We also tried the Karaage, Chicken Nanban, Beef Skewers, Chicken Breast Steak, Chicken Liver with Green Onion and Sesame Oil, Yakitori Donburi, and more. Despite ordering a lot, the bill came out to around 2,500 yen per person, which was surprising.
