I knew that a new restaurant had opened in Kyobashi Shotengai, but I visited for the first time. It seems to be Tokyo-style. I saw that they specialize in iron pot gyoza, but they also have a variety of tempting dishes like Shibuya yakisoba, sashimi, meat sashimi (pork), etc. I started with a beer, which was 209 yen including tax. It was dry. There was no appetizer. I was indecisive but ended up ordering the low-heat cooked meat sashimi assortment. It included pork tongue, heart, stomach, liver, and you can choose 3 for 590 yen or individual items for 390 yen each. The portion was quite generous with tongue, heart (4 pieces each), stomach, and despite the price, it was satisfying. They provided sesame oil, salt, mustard, garlic, and ginger on the side, and there was no unpleasant smell. I also tried a unique "Ponzu Sour" which I assume is made with Ponzu instead of syrup. It paired well with the meat sashimi. They also had other dishes like Fukuoka-style teppanyaki meat, simmered dishes typical of izakayas, and reasonably priced menu items that would go well with alcohol, so I would like to visit again. It was by chance, but I was a bit bothered by the waiter, who seemed to be a leader or employee, as his service was quite rough. He was constantly bustling around and seemed rushed. Since I was alone, I was seated at a 2-seater table in the middle of the restaurant. It made me feel uneasy as customers and staff were constantly passing by. The restaurant seemed long towards the back, and when I went to the restroom later, I noticed that there were only 4-seater tables in the back, while there were only 2 small 2-seater tables near the entrance. Since it was not crowded at a later time, it would have been better if they had guided me to a more spacious table from the beginning. I wished for improvements in hospitality beyond just the service and manuals. On another day, on a Monday in March, it was crowded and felt like a second party was going on. It was unexpectedly a lively place. It was busy, but everyone provided polite service and moved efficiently. The service was stable and well done. On that day, I tried the "Simmered Dish of an Izakaya" and "Cheese Rice Cracker". The simmered dish had large tofu and pork offal simmered in miso, which is rare. It seemed like there was more than in the picture, but it wasn't enough for sharing. The cheese rice cracker, advertised as a good accompaniment for alcohol, looked cheap but tasted delicious and went well with alcohol due to its rich and crispy texture. It seemed to have more than in the picture, suitable for about 2 people. If you order a variety of dishes, it can also be a good appetizer for a large group. Furthermore, on another day, I went back to take advantage of a 100 yen Black Nikka Highball campaign with a LINE coupon. I finally tried the "Iron Pot Gyoza" with 10 pieces for 500 yen. It was similar to the iron plate gyoza served in Fukuoka, with a light filling with plenty of vegetables and a crispy fried surface. It was not bad, but it had a slight frozen taste. The additional meat sashimi assortment was still a good deal. On that day, for the first time, they guided me to a 4-seater table with that specification, and I was able to spend a comfortable time. Thank you very much.
