Hamburg steak L set. The hamburger is served whole, maybe aiming for presentation or a cooking experience. You need to break it with chopsticks and cook it further on the hot plate because it's rare. While doing that, it can get burnt or turn into minced meat. It's a matter of preference, but it would be easier to eat if it was shaped flatter instead of whole.

Hamburger 150g. Set with soup, salad, rice, and soft drink for 1,738 yen. Free extra rice available. Served super rare and finished on a hot stone. Not too greasy, with a strong meaty flavor. Regardless of cost, worth visiting as an outlet event.

Hamburger shop in the food court of an outlet mall. The A set with a medium-sized hamburger (rice, salad, soup included) costs 1,683 yen. The hamburger is served with only the outside grilled, so it is quick to serve. Be careful as the oil splatters quite a bit when grilling at the table. The hamburger is delicious even without sauce. It would be nice if it were a little cheaper.

There is always a line during lunchtime, and the smell of the meat being grilled here in the food court is very appetizing. Most likely, everyone feels the same way at first. But I realized again that a line does not always mean the food is delicious. I think it's best for hamburgers to be cooked and served by professionals. Also, be careful because the oil splatters a lot.

It is a basic exercise, but I think it's better to go to a proper restaurant than a food court. Even though the hot stone grill stopped working halfway through, I couldn't be bothered to ask for a replacement, so I ended up eating it half-cooked. It was delicious (I take full responsibility for any issues).

The food court is located inside the outlet mall. I arrived early because it opens at 10 am. The special Imari beef steak is limited in quantity, so it can sell out by early afternoon. Today, I ordered the special Imari beef steak (L) and hamburger (L) rice set. We are sharing the steak. The quality of the steak can vary, and today's was just okay. The hamburger is juicy and delicious, but it's a bit of a hassle to cook it by cutting it into pieces. They will replace the hot stone once it cools down. It goes well with alcohol.

The service is efficient but a bit off-putting with a business-like flow from the register to serving. The sizzling sound of hot oil continues as they cook the minced meat, resulting in a tasty minced meat dish. The flavor is delicious with a well-seasoned taste, and the minced meat has a good texture with no tough or strange bits. If you're looking for just minced meat and rice, this place is worth a try. I forgot to buy a drink and my throat is dry, a common experience in food courts.

I heard that this restaurant in Fukuoka is very popular, so I went with a friend who had tried it before. They offer hamburgers in small, medium, and large sizes. We ordered a set which came with rice, salad, and a cold drink. The hamburger didn't use any fillers and had a meaty texture. It was a new type of hamburger for me. We grilled the half-cooked hamburger ourselves and enjoyed it hot and juicy. My friend and I had a great time eating and chatting.

Visited The Outlet Kitakyushu, which opened at the former Space World site at the end of April 2022. Paid a first visit to "Gokumiya," a steak and hamburger specialty shop with long lines in the food court. Arrived around 3pm, so was able to order without much wait. Ordered the Charcoal-grilled Hamburger M (150g) (1,199 yen) and rice (150 yen) at the register, then received the hamburger cooked on a wood-fired grill at the counter. The hamburger was served on a hot iron plate with two sauce options, and I grabbed chopsticks before moving to a table. The hamburger was cooked rare, so diners are expected to finish cooking it on the hot plate and grill stone at their table. Following the instructions, I cut the hamburger into quarters with metal chopsticks, seared the bright red interior on the hot plate, then cooked each piece thoroughly on the grill stone before eating. The first bite was undercooked, so I made sure to cook it properly from the second bite onwards. The Black Wagyu beef had a chewy texture and was delicious. Whether this serving style enhances the dining experience and if it's worth waiting in line for is up for debate. Overall, it was a tasty meal.

The hamburger shop in the food court of the outlet mall always has long lines, but this time there was no line! Maybe it's getting less crowded? I ordered a hamburger set and cooked it to my liking. It's delicious, but super hot... I got a small size hamburger, but I could have eaten a larger one.

The most organized place here, let's go all out! My daughter doesn't want to eat hamburgers, she wants steak❤️ As people happily walk down the street, I start to feel anxious seeing no one eating a small steak. So, I decide to order a large hamburger instead. Oh, they have steak too? 200g? 180g? They have bigger ones! I end up ordering both steak and hamburger. You can choose from large, medium, or small rice options. I choose medium rice. The meal comes with rice (surprisingly a lot), soup, and salad, along with a paper explaining how to cook the meat on the hot plate. The hamburger and steak are placed on the grill. You have to cook them yourself using the hot plate and the grill stone. I choose between metal chopsticks and wooden chopsticks for utensils, and there is only one small dish for the sauce. I wanted two sauces for variety, but they didn't provide an extra dish. The dressing for the salad is also not provided. My daughter likes salt, so I asked for a salt dish, but they said it's extra charge. A bit of a disappointing attitude. They do provide aprons, which I use to take the meat off the grill. The grill is hot enough to cook the meat thoroughly. The fat splatters quite a bit, so I had to clean up with the paper towels provided. Overall, the cost-performance is good, but the hassle of cooking the meal myself was a bit tiring. Also, with the current pandemic, having to take the metal chopsticks from a common area was a concern. The food was delicious, and the generous serving of rice left me feeling full. However, the process was tiring, and the cleanup afterward was also exhausting.

I went on a mini trip to Kitakyushu, Yamaguchi for the second day. The main purpose of the trip was to visit the newly opened outlet. Besides shopping, I was looking forward to dining at Gokumoku restaurant. When I arrived just 10 minutes after opening, there was already a line of about 20 people! I was surprised by this unexpected sight. I ordered the hamburger set in size M. The hamburgers were grilled on the spot with firewood and served in order. After waiting for about 30 minutes, I enjoyed my meal. The hamburger itself was soft and delicious, and I also thoroughly enjoyed the rice, soup, salad, and dessert ice cream.

I ordered the special Imari beef steak (180g) for 2409 yen at this restaurant for comparison with 88Jr. I usually go for the hamburger here, but this time I went with the steak. The steak is served as a single item, so you have to order rice, salad, and soup separately. I ordered a large size rice with my steak. The steak is served raw and cut into bite-sized pieces, which you cook on a pellet to your liking. Be careful not to cook all the pieces at once as they can overcook on the hot plate. The meat is very tender and has a good amount of fat, perfect for those who love fatty cuts. The rice was also delicious. The only downside was the sauce, which you have to choose between two options and pour into a small cylindrical container yourself. I chose the non-sweet option, but it was a bit too simple and didn't add much flavor. In the end, I ended up using 88's black pepper sauce for most of the meat. Sorry, 88. There's no real comparison between the two dishes since they are quite different in price and taste.

The new branch of the famous "Gokumikuya" restaurant, known for serving hamburgers that are almost raw for customers to cook themselves, has opened in Kitakyushu. Located in the food court of "The Outlet Kitakyushu," this place is a must-visit on weekends, with long queues forming from the 11 am opening time. However, if you arrive early, you should be able to find a seat easily. The taste of their hamburgers is exceptional, with the sweet sauce being highly recommended. I was so eager to taste it that I forgot to take a photo. Therefore, the second and third photos of hamburgers shown here are from the Hakata branch (oops).

I ordered the wood-fired hamburger (L size) with set A, while my friend ordered the wood-fired hamburger (M size) with set C. The hamburgers are cooked on a grill and you can choose between sweet or meat sauce. The process of cooking the hamburger involves cutting it into pieces, grilling it, and dipping it in sauce. The L size hamburger was quite challenging to cook as it was large and needed to be cooked thoroughly. The process was a bit time-consuming and required a lot of attention. Overall, the experience of cooking our own hamburgers was interesting but also a bit of a hassle.

Exterior and Interior: Located in the food court of THE OUTLETS KITAKYUSHU in Yahatahigashi-ku, Kitakyushu City, this is a specialty restaurant for hamburg and steak. They specialize in hamburgers cooked over an open fire, and the flames rising from the outside seem quite captivating. Seating: The seating is similar to that of a food court. Menu Composition: They offer hamburgers and steaks, with lunch sets and alcohol available. The items I ordered are as follows: - Firewood-grilled hamburger (979 yen) -> Tax-inclusive price. I chose the size S (120g). They also offer M (150g, tax-inclusive 1,199 yen) and L (200g, tax-inclusive 1,529 yen) sizes, with the option for a double patty. There are 3 set options, and I chose the simplest A set which includes rice, soup, and salad for an additional 330 yen. In total, it came to about 1,300 yen for a lunch set. Since Golden Week has ended, my family visited the outlet mall that replaced Space World in Kitakyushu. It was easy to shop without the crowds. In the evening, we got hungry and had a meal at the food court. There was a popular restaurant called "Gokumiya" that is also popular in Tenjin and Hakata Station. There was a long line, but we decided to wait until it got shorter. Since the steak was sold out, we ordered the hamburger instead. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

My family requested a watch, so we came to the outlet. It was crowded as it had just opened. I managed to get the Seiko watch we were looking for and then we had an early lunch. Among the crowded restaurants and food court, there was one place that stood out with a long line - it was Gokumokuya. They are known for their wood-fired dishes, a unique feature that only this branch has. We waited in line for over 20 minutes. The seating is limited, so we had to wait for a table to open up. However, the food court had plenty of seats, so the line moved quickly. It was interesting to see them cooking with wood fire, giving it a live cooking experience. Unfortunately, the sweet potato chips, which were exclusive to this branch, were already sold out. We ordered the normal size hamburger steak, which comes in M (1199 yen) and L (1529 yen) sizes. We also got the A set (330 yen) x2 with salad, soup, and the option to choose the rice size for free. The hamburg steak was served on a hot plate, and we were given paper aprons, silver chopsticks, and wooden chopsticks. The steak was only seared on the outside, so we had to cook it to our liking using the hot stone and then enjoy it with the wooden chopsticks. The steak was delicious and juicy. The salad and soup were okay, but as they were complimentary, we didn't mind. The rice was shiny and tasty. It would have been great if they offered a topping of onsen egg to make a mini hamburger steak bowl. It was our first time at Gokumokuya, but it was a delicious experience. Originating in Fukuoka, this restaurant specializes in rare hamburg steaks. I have visited the Parco branch multiple times. This time, I heard they use "wood fire" for cooking, so I arrived at 10:30 am only to find a line of about 50 people already! Hmm... I can't wait that long (laughs), so I decided to grab a bite at another restaurant and come back after shopping. When I returned at 5 pm, there were only about 15 people in line, so I decided to wait. After about 30 minutes, I was served this dish! The inside was very rare, and the style of cooking with pellets to grill it to your liking was the same, but the wood aroma made it taste even better than usual. Extreme Flavor is really delicious, isn't it?
