A small shop near the station. I ordered the tonkotsu ramen. The flavor was not just focused on tonkotsu, but also had a hint of soy sauce which made it easy to eat. The seasoned bamboo shoots matched well with the soup, and I personally liked the flavor. The char siu was tender and delicious. I would like to visit again for a drink after work. Thank you for the meal!

"Makanai ramen & Kurohan Chan set. Located just a few minutes' walk from Hankyu Takatsuki-shi Station is Sakurazaka. The shop is run by the owner alone. Sit at the counter and place your order verbally. Makanai ramen (tonkotsu) 750 yen, Kurohan Chan set 300 yen. The limited makanai ramen is reasonably priced and comes with plenty of chopped chashu. The soup is tonkotsu but has a mild flavor. The salty chashu goes well with it. The straight thin noodles are also good. The Kurohan fried rice also has small pieces of chashu in it, and while it looks completely black, the flavor is not too strong. The texture of the onions is good, making for a tasty fried rice. 23rd visit, 119th bowl."

Ramen Sakurazaka [Takatsuki City, Osaka Prefecture Takatsuki-cho] I was drawn in by the braised pork and tonkotsu, and decided to visit this restaurant. I visited on a Sunday night and was able to enter without waiting. I sat at the counter seat. I ordered the Sakurazaka Ramen (tonkotsu) for 1000 yen. It was a luxurious version with braised pork and chashu. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also very nice. The soup was creamy with a hint of sweetness. The straight thin noodles had a good texture. The combination of braised pork and chashu was very satisfying. This ramen is a great choice for a late-night meal after drinking. In addition to the counter seats, there are also table seats available. Payment is made after eating and only cash is accepted. It is easy to dine here alone. [Business Hours] Lunch 11:00-15:00 (Last order 14:30) Dinner 18:00-25:00 (Last order 24:30) [Closed] Mondays [Parking] Not available

I visited this ramen shop for lunch on a day when the temperature had dropped significantly. I had been here once before a long time ago. I checked the menu in front of the shop. Since the door was open for ventilation, I made sure the inside was not crowded before entering. Lately, I've been more in the mood for fried rice than ramen, so I decided on the "Kurohan Chan Set" and chose a ramen that seemed less filling. I ordered the "Makanai Ramen (tonkotsu, salt) for 700 yen," which came with chopped chashu and no egg, in a simple style. I topped it with "kimchi" and "garlic chips?" as part of the set. As I ate, I felt the deliciousness more and more, and ended up drinking almost all the soup. There were plenty of chopped chashu pieces in the ramen. And the eagerly anticipated black fried rice reminded me of Shinpukusen in Kyoto. It had a very oily impression, but the rich flavor and the savory aroma of soy sauce overflowed in the flavorful fried rice. This unforgettable deliciousness. I was very satisfied with the set menu. Thank you for the meal.

I had the pork bone ramen at this shop, which is known for its pork bone broth. The soup was creamy and had a smooth texture, giving me a nostalgic feeling as if I had eaten it at a street stall in the past. The aroma of sesame oil whetted my appetite, and it paired well with the noodles, making it a ramen that anyone can enjoy. The shop owner's hospitality was pleasant, making me want to visit again.

Ramen Sakurazaka is a ramen shop that has been in Takatsuki for a long time. This time, I ordered the basic tonkotsu ramen half set. As stated on the menu, it was delicious with a light tonkotsu flavor. It's great that you can eat the half set for under 1000 yen.

Sakurazaka Ramen Tonkotsu. I was surprised to find such a large portion with two pieces of chashu and kakuni at this price! It's a tonkotsu ramen, but it's light and goes well with the sesame topping on the table. I heard they are not currently making their Shiomoto Ramen soup, but I would love to try it when they bring it back.

The intended shop was temporarily closed, so I wandered around and stumbled upon this place. They have thorough COVID-19 measures in place such as hand sanitizers, acrylic dividers, masks, CO2 monitors, and posters. Despite it being lunchtime, there were only two customers ahead of us. We ordered the standard Tonkotsu ramen and half-fried rice. The shop is small with only a few tables and counter seats. The ramen had thin straight noodles, a unique egg-based soup with a hint of burnt onion flavor, and toppings like green onions, char siu, seasoned egg, and bamboo shoots. The fried rice was reminiscent of "Shinfukusai-kan" with a dark color, and it had a slightly oily and sweet-savory flavor with ingredients like green onions, char siu, and egg. Overall, the shop may not stand out due to its location, but the taste of the food is quite good.

I felt like eating ramen for lunch and visited this shop not far from Hankyu Takatsuki-shi Station. The shop is run by the owner alone, with about 7 counter seats and one table seat (for 2 people?). I ordered the "Sakurazaka Ramen" which is recommended, topped with braised pork and char siu. While waiting, I read the menu description which mentioned that the soup is made by simmering vegetables, chicken, and pork bones. The ramen that arrived had a mild taste, suitable for all ages and genders. The thin noodles were just right, and the braised pork was fragrant and incredibly tender. It was a perfect match for the beer I ordered as well! Although there was an option for extra noodles, I was already full from the generous amount of meat! Thank you for the delicious meal!

For lunch today, I visited the popular pork bone ramen shop "Ramen Sakurazaka" in Takatsuki for the second time in 8 years. I was completely drunk during my first visit 8 years ago, and honestly, I don't remember what the taste was like, just that it was pork bone soup... I suddenly thought that I should try it once sober, so I came today. I arrived at 11 am just after the opening, and I was the second in line to enter. First, I cleaned my hands with the alcohol in front of me, and then I sat at the counter seat separated by a transparent acrylic board. When I checked the menu, I found that there were only two types of ramen, "tonkotsu" and "shio", so I ordered the "tonkotsu ramen (760 yen)" which I hadn't had in 8 years, along with the "han-chan set (+200 yen)" which came with half-fried rice. After a while, the "tonkotsu ramen" arrived, topped with the shop's proud pork belly chashu, seasoned egg, bamboo shoots, and chopped green onions. At the same time, the "half-fried rice" which had a color that reminded me of "Shinfukunakan's Yakimeshi" arrived first. Now, I took a sip of the slightly oily pork bone soup, and the gentle aroma of pork bone broth passed through my nose. It had a creamy and smooth mouthfeel, light but with a solid flavor and umami of pork bone broth spreading throughout my mouth. Additionally, the mild soy sauce seasoning added a depth to it, making it quite delicious! The straight thin noodles had a supple firmness and a satisfying chewy texture, blending well with the pork bone soup, and were super tasty! The shop's proud pork belly chashu had a moist texture with plenty of bite, and as I chewed, the condensed umami of the meat and the sweetness of the fat overflowed in my mouth, blending perfectly with the pork bone soup, making it super delicious! You could also take the chashu home separately, and I felt like having a beer with this chashu as a snack! The seasoned egg was well-seasoned, with a moist texture that was pleasant, and the mild richness of the yolk added to its deliciousness! Furthermore, the crunchy texture of the well-seasoned bamboo shoots and the crispy texture of the chopped green onions added a nice accent, making it really good! After finishing the noodles, I took a bite of the "half-fried rice", which had plenty of chopped chashu inside. It wasn't as salty as it looked, and the fragrant soy sauce seasoning added a depth to it, making it quite delicious! I quickly finished the delicious pork bone soup and completed the meal. It could be a good finish after drinking, but I think it was the right decision to enjoy it sober, while basking in the aftertaste of the light pork bone soup, feeling very satisfied and grateful for the meal!

I visited "Ramen Sakurazaka" for the first time in years. The menu offers tonkotsu and salt-based ramen with the choice of pork belly and chashu. I ordered the Sakurazaka Ramen Half-Chan Set, which allows you to enjoy both pork belly and chashu. The Sakurazaka Ramen is ¥950, and the pork belly is simmered to perfection with a lingering spicy flavor. The chashu is incredibly delicious! The light pork bone soup is enhanced by the flavors of the pork belly and chashu, creating a punchy and delicious taste. The noodles are medium-thin straight noodles without any distinctive features. The half-fried rice with chashu is delicious, with plenty of tasty chashu. While regular ramen may feel a bit lacking in punch, this one hits the spot. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Purchased in May 2020, posted on May 16th (all information is from the time of purchase) (prices are excluding tax) Based on information from a certain bar master, I learned that they reopened for business on May 7th. They are currently operating with shortened hours. The takeout this time was their highly praised chashu. Lunch: 11:00-14:30 Dinner: 16:00-20:00 (alcohol served until 19:00) They are opening a bit earlier for dinner at 16:00, so please take advantage of that. Chashu takeout has been available before, but now they have expanded their menu to include rice bowls and individual items. They have also reopened for dining in with infection prevention measures in place. What I bought: -Chashu (1 piece) for ¥2000 (normally ¥2400 for about 450g, but this one was slightly smaller) -Seasoned boiled egg (2 pieces) for ¥160 each -Menma (bamboo shoots) (2 servings) for ¥170 each The chashu, made from Kagoshima pork raised on pesticide-free feed, has a firm texture rather than being melt-in-your-mouth. It has a strong soy sauce flavor that is slightly spicy and sweet. The flavor blends well, making it very appetizing. Despite being belly meat, it is not greasy at all, making it easy to eat and delicious. The flavor of the chashu also seeps into the menma, making it tasty. They also offer chashu karaage called "agetan," which seems intriguing. *For a more visually appealing version with photos, please visit the blog linked below. https://gurumebutyou.muragon.com/entry/2800.html

After finishing my morning work from home, I decided to have lunch in my hometown of Takatsuki. As I was walking around, I stumbled upon "Ramen Sakurazaka" and decided to give it a try. I arrived at 12:50 with no other customers in sight. The Sakurazaka ramen came with toppings of chashu, braised pork, half a boiled egg, bamboo shoots, and green onions. The medium-thin straight noodles were cooked slightly soft and the soy sauce-based tonkotsu broth was light and had a subtle sweetness. The addition of braised pork gave it a slightly sweeter flavor. The half-chan ramen looked dark but had a normal flavor. There were condiments like pepper, sesame, garlic chips, vinegar, and chili oil on the table. The interior of the restaurant was the same as before, with seating for six at the counter and one triangular table. The owner was managing the place alone, and a few more customers trickled in as I dined.

A ramen shop located right by Takatsuki Station on a fairly busy street. The interior features opaque glass windows, giving it a mysterious atmosphere. The space is minimal with a counter and tables. The tonkotsu ramen has a light pork bone broth, thick slices of chashu, seasoned egg, and bamboo shoots.

~Sakurazaka~ Visited Sakurazaka in Takatsuki, Osaka, located at 20-3 Takatsuki-cho, Takatsuki City. It's a ramen shop in a competitive area. The ramen here is based on pork bone broth, but the soup is light and clear. The noodles are thin and slightly rough, which seemed to enhance the soup's flavor. The ramen comes with chashu and braised pork belly, which is not commonly found in other shops. It was very delicious! I will definitely go back again. I also posted about it on Instagram, so please check it out at https://www.instagram.com/p/B8Qqt5_HGH0/?igshid=1x7hqb8uq7l1m

Visited alone at 9:00 PM. I have been to this restaurant many times in the past, but I haven't been here recently because there are many delicious tonkotsu ramen shops in the area. Besides me, there was only one other customer. I ordered the tonkotsu ramen for 760 yen. It is completely different from the tonkotsu ramen in Kyushu. It is not rich and has a refined taste with minimal salt and oil, so it may not be appealing to manual laborers. It has a refreshing taste like nyumen. If you taste it carefully, you can somewhat taste the flavor of pork bone marrow. The noodles are not the thin Hakata-style noodles, but rather firm Chinese noodles. It has a unique taste that is different from the typical tonkotsu ramen. I recommend it to those who dislike tonkotsu ramen. I bought a single serving of char siu for 2000 yen to take home (this was actually my intention).

Number of visits: 1 time "Japanese-style shio ramen + half-chan set" 760 yen + 200 yen The soup is so clear that you can see through it, and it has a light layer of oil with bonito flakes floating on top. It is very mild and elegant, reminiscent of "Nagatanien's o-suimono" but with a slight ramen-like twist to it. The noodles are very thin and straight, which adds to the feeling of it being like ramen but not quite.

I had been checking out "Ramen Sakurazaka" for a while now. Many reviews seem to struggle with how to express their thoughts, which only piqued my interest even more. The restaurant is located about a 3-minute walk from Hankyu Takatsuki-shi Station, making it easy to find as it is along the main road. I decided to order the Tonkotsu Ramen (760 yen) as it was recommended for first-timers. The carefully crafted tonkotsu broth was surprisingly light and not greasy as expected. It goes against the usual perception of tonkotsu ramen being rich and heavy. The broth was indeed light and smooth. The noodles were thin and slightly firm, cooked just right. Overall, it was delicious. However, I can see why some may find the reviews mixed, as it might not fit the typical image of tonkotsu ramen. They also offered gyoza, but I skipped it this time as it contained shiso leaves in the filling. There were subtle differences here and there compared to regular ramen shops. The owner managed everything alone (cooking, serving, etc.), and I found them to be friendly and pleasant. I hope they do well. It would be nice if they offered gyoza with and without shiso leaves, and with or without garlic on the menu. Having both light and rich tonkotsu ramen options might also satisfy a wider range of customers. The saltiness of the chashu pork was a bit strong though.

"Charshu Ramen (Tonkotsu)" for 1000 yen. The soup is a light tonkotsu with low viscosity. It is a refreshing type that is easy for everyone to enjoy, but it lacks a bit of richness. Adding the garlic chips from the table will change the flavor and make it much more satisfying. The noodles are thin straight noodles with a good texture, although the wheat aroma is a bit faint. The charshu is incredibly delicious, with a satisfying chewy texture and plenty of umami flavor. It's a must-try!

I ordered the Sakura-zaka ramen with pork belly chashu at a ramen shop near Hankyu Takatsuki-shi Station. The bowl has a unique oval design. The soup has a strong burnt smell. The noodles are different from regular tonkotsu ramen, they are thin and yellow with egg. The pork belly is sweetly seasoned and the chashu is thick and satisfying. As the shop advertises, it is a light tonkotsu ramen. I ordered an extra serving of noodles, but the flavor seemed to weaken due to the light soup, leaving me feeling unsatisfied. Hang in there, soup!
