Every time I come to Kyushu and use Fukuoka Airport ✈️, I always eat ramen here. The store here manages to create a great atmosphere in a limited space. It is very clean, and I always feel comfortable using it. The customer service is also wonderful, especially the female staff who are like flight attendants. With this kind of situation, you know the ramen is delicious. The tonkotsu soup and thin noodles are a perfect combination. The taste, cleanliness, and great service make it the perfect meal to end your journey. Even though I don't visit the same restaurant in my local area, I always end up stopping by this place when I'm traveling in Kyushu. The gentle sound of the chime inside the store is also lovely. I will definitely visit again next time.

When transferring at Fukuoka Airport, I slipped in. When you come to Kyushu, you definitely want to eat tonkotsu ramen, right? Of course, you can eat Ichiran in Tokyo as well, but it's a different feeling when you're traveling. I took a bite and thought, "Wow, Ichiran is this delicious?" The soup is rich and tasty. Despite knowing it's not good for me, I couldn't resist getting a refill. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

After passing through security at Fukuoka Airport, I stumbled upon Ichiran Ramen tucked away in a quiet corner. Surprisingly, there was no line and I was able to walk right in. The interior was simple, with a focus on the flavorful tonkotsu ramen. It was a perfect way to savor the taste of Fukuoka before leaving.

I can now easily eat at the famous Ichiran, which can be found nationwide, at Fukuoka Airport. I ordered and my bowl arrived in about 2 minutes. I requested extra firm noodles, but they turned out to be quite soft, which was disappointing. I also ordered an extra serving of extra firm noodles, but they were only slightly firm. Was it always like this? I was expecting noodles as firm as guitar strings, so it was a bit disappointing. The ramen is a bit pricey at nearly 1000 yen in Fukuoka, but it is a classic and delicious. Thank you for the meal!

Before getting on the plane, I had famous Hakata ramen at a popular restaurant since the morning. Even at 8 am, the restaurant was almost 80% full, showing how popular it is. It's great to be able to have popular ramen after going through security. I wish I had more time to order an extra serving of noodles.

At Gate 4. Seated and served in 3 minutes. Taste is similar to Tokyo. Regular ramen for 980 yen. Nori topping for 130 yen. It's been a while since Roppongi branch closed! Finished in 10 minutes. Thank you for the meal.

Just in time, I jumped into this place right before the gate. Tonight's dinner was ramen with extra chashu at Ichiran Fukuoka Airport store. I ordered the rich flavor, extra rich thickness, 1 clove of garlic, green onions, and the secret sauce, with firm noodles. I didn't have much time, so I didn't get a refill, but added extra chashu to make it like chashu noodles. It's been about 20 years since I last visited Ichiran. I don't remember much from my last visit to the main store because I was drunk (lol). The noodles were a bit soft, but I was satisfied with the rich tonkotsu soup. It was delicious!

Fukuoka Airport has been renovated with the catchphrase "Enjoyable even without getting on a plane", offering a variety of food options including ramen on the runway. One Ramen shop that stands out is Ichiran, located near gate 4 after passing through security. The airport may not be as bustling as before, but for those who remember the old days, it's a mix of joy and nostalgia. The strict rules like only being allowed to pour hot water three times or the 15-second rule may appeal to foreign visitors. And speaking of food, I used to eat a lot of Harigane Kona at the airport.

Business trip to Kanto. After checking in at Fukuoka Airport, I had some time so I quickly went to "Ichiran Fukuoka Airport Store" for lunch. It had been a while since I last visited Ichiran, but the system and atmosphere (like the sound) are the same at every store, which is reassuring. I ordered ramen and an extra serving of noodles. The taste was consistently good as always. This time, I tried the "very soft" noodles for the first time with the extra serving. It turned into a completely different dish, but I think I enjoyed the taste of the noodles more this way. Personally, I think I prefer the noodles to be just slightly soft rather than very soft. I like the taste, but considering the high price for Fukuoka ramen, I would rate it as average. Thank you for the meal.

Near boarding gate 4 for domestic flights, I spotted Ichiran. Boarding announcement will start soon, but I didn't have time to eat ramen in Hakata, so I dashed to visit. Purchased a meal ticket from the machine and sat at any available seat. Normal ramen costs 980 yen. It seems more expensive than other places, did they raise their prices? Sat down, filled out the order sheet with preferences, handed it to the staff, and received my bowl of ramen in about 1 minute. It was the usual Ichiran, light and easy to eat. Despite being sensitive to hot food, I finished it in 4 minutes. If the place isn't crowded, you can leave the restaurant in about 5 minutes, making it convenient when in a hurry. Thank you for the meal.

This is the last part of my trip to Fukuoka. As a beginner on Tabelog, I challenged myself to try various restaurants. "Ichiran" is a specialty store for natural tonkotsu ramen, known as the "company that researches tonkotsu ramen the most in the world." They focus solely on tonkotsu ramen to deepen the flavor and pursue authentic tonkotsu ramen. With over 40 dedicated artisans involved in making each bowl of ramen, they prioritize safe and high-quality ingredients, skilled craftsmanship, and the pursuit of genuine deliciousness. They also pay attention to the environment and constantly come up with various ideas with meticulous research to make customers happy. Eating ramen in local areas, I often feel that the level in the Kanto region is too high, and I don't experience much freshness, innovation, or surprise. Keep up the good work. Thank you for the meal.

I used this restaurant before my flight as they open at 8 am. There were not many people in the morning so I could eat smoothly. The service was quick and the staff were very polite, making it a pleasant dining experience. Many celebrities also use this restaurant, as their autographs are displayed.

I arrived at Fukuoka Airport feeling hungry, but I didn't have much time before boarding. Also, I was hungover and craving soup. I rushed into Ichiran, bought a food ticket from the vending machine, filled out the order sheet, and quickly ate. It only took 10 minutes. And it was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Ippudo is located inside the domestic flight gate at the airport. It was a relief to be able to eat after entering. While there are places to eat before entering the gate at Fukuoka Airport, there are none inside the gate. Ippudo is a shop where you can eat on the spot, other than the convenience store inside the gate. The shop maintains personal space just like other stores. They provide quick service, so you can eat quickly and feel at ease. ♡♡♡

Located in the direction of the No. 1 boarding gate, Ichiran Ramen. I thought I could eat it in Osaka too, but since the flight was a bit delayed, I succumbed to temptation and sat down at the noodle-focused counter. I thought about trying something different from my usual order, but ended up sticking to the reliable and delicious taste I always enjoy. It's a good timing to have it before leaving Hakata!

During my recent visit to Fukuoka, I had my final meal at Ichiran, a ramen shop located inside the security checkpoint at Fukuoka Airport. It was a rare find but I had a sudden craving for it. The shop was near gate 2, quite a walk from the boarding gate for Miyazaki-bound flights. I ordered ramen (980 yen), char siu plate (490 yen), and beer (580 yen). The char siu plate I tried for the first time had a rich flavor with a hint of sweetness, which was enhanced by the special condiments provided. The beer was very refreshing and went down smoothly. The ramen was consistently delicious, and I enjoyed being able to adjust the flavors and toppings to my liking. I quickly finished my meal at the counter and headed to Miyazaki. It was a satisfying end to my trip.

I visited Ichiran after a long time. I had 30 minutes until my flight, so I thought I could eat quickly. The ramen cost 980 yen and I waited for 15 minutes, which made me really anxious. The ramen was delicious, but I couldn't fully enjoy it because I was worried about my boarding time. It's better to allow plenty of time when eating at the airport.

I entered the shop with the thought of getting some Fukuoka blood in my body for my homecoming. Personally, I feel that the taste of Ichiran doesn't change no matter where you eat it, so I can confidently enter the shop. It's a sneaky shop that I tend to visit when passing through the airport security check. Although it may seem expensive compared to the past, I still ordered the extra noodles. The taste is consistently delicious.

The layover time is 40 minutes. So, there's no choice but to go for it! I found empty seats at the counter. I decided to inject some ramen before boarding! Let's go! A reliable bowl from Ichiran! The airport, terminal, boarding gate, and arrival gate are all crowded with customers. I drank every drop of the soup, thank you for the meal. Now, onwards to today's final destination.

In November 2022, around 8 pm on a weekday, I went alone to Ichiran. I've been to other similar restaurants before, but I still don't quite understand the system. I decided to buy a food ticket. The ramen was 980 yen, which seemed a bit expensive to me. When I sat at the empty counter, the staff took care of everything for me. I got a bit confused during our conversation when the staff went to get water. I wasn't sure if I should call out, use a button, or leave money... I was clueless! Even after finishing my meal, I wasn't sure about the protocol for returning the dishes. Since it's not self-service, do I just leave them there? Is there a signal for finishing the meal? Can I say "thank you for the meal"? I was so confused! But overall, I was glad I could eat quickly. I used to think Ichiran was my favorite for Hakata tonkotsu ramen, but now I'm not so sure after trying different places. They are all delicious. It wasn't as mind-blowing as my first time at Ichiran, but it was still tasty! (I found out on their website that there is a video explaining how to use their system, and apparently, you can just leave without saying anything.) Thank you for the meal.
