Yakiniku Sakaba Gyukaku Kyobashi Ekimae Store (Kyobashi)【(Limited time offer) Yakiniku Special Mazemen Regular Serving + Gyukaku Kalbi】¥490 + ¥590 (excluding tax)★★★★★★☆☆☆☆"Asa○○○●○○○kote" Sauce: Salt / Noodles: Medium thin twistedI heard that the popular yakiniku chain Gyukaku will be offering a limited-time Mazemen from February 9th (Meat Day) to the 28th, so I visited on the campaign day! In addition to the Mazemen, they also offer other noodle dishes such as Yakiniku Special Mazemen Small Serving (¥390 excluding tax / limited time), Gyukaku Black Ramen (¥690 excluding tax), Stone Pot Sesame Onion Salt Ramen (¥690 excluding tax), Addictive Spicy Noodles (¥690 excluding tax), Gyukaku Cold Noodles (Half ¥450 excluding tax / Regular ¥690 excluding tax), Plum and Shiso Cold Noodles (Half ¥450 excluding tax / Regular ¥690 excluding tax). This time, I ordered the one I was looking forward to. I noticed on the Mazemen sign that it was "pursuing compatibility with Kalbi" and the instructions on how to enjoy it said "put grilled meat on top!" and "eat it with the meat!" So, I decided to add Kalbi on top (the image on the top is with the meat, bottom left is the served Mazemen, bottom right is where the meat is being grilled). There are various types of Kalbi available, such as Upper Kalbi Steak (¥690 excluding tax), Secret Salt Sauce Thick-cut Kalbi (¥550 excluding tax), Thick-cut Kalbi (¥550 excluding tax), Family Kalbi (Tare) (¥390 excluding tax), Stamina W Garlic Kalbi (¥590 excluding tax), Moon-viewing Kalbi (¥490 excluding tax), Cotton Candy Sukiyaki Kalbi (¥590 excluding tax), Sangen Pork Kalbi (Tare/Salt/Miso) (¥490 excluding tax), Delicious Spicy Kalbi (¥490 excluding tax), Garlic Butter Kalbi (¥490 excluding tax). I ordered the Gyukaku Kalbi with the store name on it! [Sauce] The sauce is a salty sauce with a moderate amount of oil. It has a thick and sticky texture from the crushed egg yolk. The medium-thick salt sauce with sesame oil has a good flavor. [Noodles] The noodles are medium-thin twisted noodles. The noodles have a slightly higher water content, giving them a stretchy and chewy texture. Served warm, the noodles mix well with the sauce and egg yolk, creating a delicious combination. The bowl is small, about the size of the palm, and even though it's a regular serving, the amount of noodles is less than 100g, making it a perfect amount for finishing a yakiniku meal! [Meat] The additional meat is 5 slices of medium-thick beef Kalbi. Following the menu's instructions on the "delicious way to grill meat," I grilled the Kalbi as instructed, with "30% seared on the surface, 70% on the back." The meat has a resilient and tender texture with a good bite. It is aged for 30 days, weighing only 2.4kg per cow, and has no unpleasant smell or greasiness, but instead, it has a delicious meaty flavor that pairs well with the flavorful sauce! [Other toppings] The toppings include green onions, Korean seaweed, and salted kelp. Additionally, on the table, there are yakiniku sauce, lemon juice, and complimentary red gochujang, mayonnaise, and sesame oil for flavor variations. [Interior] The restaurant has mainly 6-8 seat tables, totaling 90 seats. Even though it's an end-of-meal dish, the Mazemen for around ¥500 is a reasonable price! I visited around 9 pm, and even though it's a yakiniku restaurant, I was dining alone with no one accompanying me, murmuring to myself while enjoying the yakiniku! Gyukaku is more of a chain restaurant that caters to groups of 2 or more, so I could almost hear the whispers of "Is that guy really eating yakiniku alone? Oh, it's Meat Day, I see, what a lonely guy. And he's even drinking cold water." But, I'm used to it, so it didn't bother me! I was more concerned about not taking up a large table during busy hours, so I quickly finished my meal and left the restaurant.
