I decided to explore the area around Taisho Station, which is a 10-minute walk from the Kyocera Dome. As a baseball fan, when I saw a sign for the Orix Buffaloes, I knew I had to go there. I decided to eat some grilled chicken, so I entered the restaurant. As soon as I sat at the counter, I noticed that each table had a grill, similar to a yakiniku restaurant. But to my surprise, the sign said "Yaku Tori" instead of "Yaki Tori." I found it interesting and unique. I started with a bottle of Akia beer and some pickled cabbage. Before grilling the chicken, I ordered some chicken sashimi, specifically the breast meat sashimi. It was delicious and got me excited for the grilling to come. For the grilled items, they offered a special, medium, and regular size. Since it was my first time and I was dining alone, I chose the regular size for 980 yen. It included breast meat, thigh meat, chicken tenderloin, skin, and silver skin. I dipped them in a sauce with green onions and garlic, and it was delicious. The breast meat and tenderloin were particularly good. If this restaurant was nearby, I would definitely become a regular customer. It was a great dining experience!

I visited this popular restaurant in the evening with a reservation made by my companion. The place was constantly full, with people without reservations being turned away. The restaurant is located in a bustling area near Taisho Station, with counter seating on the first floor and table seating on the second floor. It can get crowded during peak hours or on game days at Osaka Dome, so it's recommended to make a reservation in advance or arrive early. The restaurant offers a self-grilling style where you can choose from set menus like the assorted platter (980 yen), medium platter (1,500 yen), or special platter (1,980 yen). I opted for the special platter which includes a variety of cuts of chicken. In addition to the set menu, you can also order individual items like grilled uni sushi (400 yen) and draft beer (380 yen). The special platter I ordered had a generous portion of 12 different cuts of chicken, ranging from common cuts to premium cuts. The left side of the platter consisted of cuts from fresh morning chicken, which can be enjoyed rare, while the right side was recommended to be cooked thoroughly. The variety of cuts, along with the assortment of condiments like garlic and salt, made for a delicious meal. Considering the quality and quantity of food, the special platter priced at 1,980 yen was a great deal. It's a counter-only restaurant where you grill your own yakitori. We started with a draft beer, which was delicious on a hot day. They had chicken sashimi with liver, breast meat, and gizzard. We tried the liver and gizzard, and they were delicious. We ordered the regular serving of yakitori, made with chicken from the morning. Personally, I found the thigh meat to be the most delicious. The chicken was juicy and flavorful. They also had side dishes and rice dishes. The staff were friendly. When we arrived, there were only two other customers, but it filled up later and they had to turn people away. We found a great restaurant. It's counter-only, so it's best for small groups. I'd like to visit again. The clean interior was likely due to the fact that it opened last summer. We had a pleasant dining experience.
