A café located on the first floor of an apartment building facing the east side of Shin-midosuji Street, just north of the central ticket gate at Shin-Osaka Station. The café is run by a white-haired master and exudes a sense of history with its audio equipment and furnishings. They offer a daily lunch set with coffee included, which is decent in taste and portion. The coffee served after the meal is carefully brewed and delicious. Enjoy a leisurely lunch at this old-fashioned café.

I went to a hair salon a little beyond Shin-Osaka from Higashi-Sangoku, and on my way to Shin-Osaka station, I stopped by Bara no Ki. It was my first time at the salon in a while to get my hair set for a wedding I was attending. I had a morning sandwich while getting ready. When I entered the shop, I was surprised to see the person sitting at the counter, who I thought was a customer, was actually the owner. I ordered the morning sandwich for 450 yen. The iced coffee was overflowing when it was placed on the table, which was quite amusing. The sandwich was more like a small amount of filling sandwiched between baguette slices. And for some reason, it came with a fried egg lightly drizzled with soy sauce as a side. It seems like they also serve lunch. The regular customers were already having beer from the morning. It was quite an interesting café experience.

A cafe located along a side street of Shin-Osaka Street, a little north of JR Shin-Osaka Station. The interior feels quite old, with a slightly dirty vibe. There is also a strong smell of cigarettes. The service is very casual, especially when talking to regular customers in a loud and informal manner, which felt a bit strange. I ordered the daily special for 800 yen, which included chicken fry, fish fry, salad, rice, miso soup, and iced coffee. The chicken fry and fish fry were freshly breaded and fried in front of me, and they were quite delicious. The iced coffee was also good with a generous portion. The food was good, but the service left me with some doubts about the restaurant.

I went to a cafe called "Bara no Ki" located about a 5-minute walk from Shin-Osaka Station. It is situated on the first floor of an apartment building along Shin-Mido-suji street. The interior of the cafe is cozy, with both table and counter seating available. The atmosphere is calm with Western music playing in the background. They also serve alcohol. The menu includes American coffee for 380 yen, tea for 380 yen, cafe au lait for 400 yen, cocoa for 500 yen, cream soda for 450 yen, milkshake for 500 yen, cinnamon toast for 400 yen, and spaghetti curry flavor for 700 yen, among others. I had a great time there!
