辛い好きもぐたん
[Takeout] Kimuraya Soko Honten officially passed down its expertise to Sapporo Kimuraya Co., Ltd., which has a bakery outlet located at its main factory. It is also the family home of singer-songwriter Maki Ohguro, and currently, her brother serves as the company president. The company actively employs people with disabilities and has made the factory barrier-free, which required a significant investment. Keep up the good work! The shop is located about 500m from the intersection of Makomanai-dori and Hiragishi-dori, along the National Route 453 towards the Geijutsu no Mori direction.
[Visit on May 25, 2017, around 1 pm] I had known about the bakery outlet for a while but finally had the chance to visit. The selection of bread displayed in the shop is around 10 varieties, and being attached to the factory, the lineup may vary each time you visit. I found the butter rolls that I always buy whenever I see them at a bakery. I bought 6 pieces for 30 yen each, along with a few other items priced at 100 yen each. The butter roll had a good balance of yeast flavor, and the texture was to my liking. I baked it in a fish grill since there was no toaster, and reheating it enhanced the sweetness of the wheat and the aroma. The ham roll, sold in the refrigerated case, had the same taste as before and was quite satisfying with ham, lettuce, and mayonnaise. The chocolate steamed cake was another favorite of mine, with a delicious taste and texture. The remaining two items were also tasty, and among commercially available pastry bread, they were on the better side. Keep up the good work, Sapporo Kimuraya, Roba Pan, and Nichiro Pan! I hope to see more of Kudou Pan in Hokkaido as well. (・ω・) Oh, the joys of being an adult!
