I opted for the limited-time offer of a 150g ribeye steak. It was my preferred type of delicious meat with less fat and a leaner, more red meat. I was pleased that white rice, mixed grain rice, shredded cabbage, and macaroni salad were all-you-can-eat. It might be a good idea to decide on the menu in advance as you purchase tickets from a vending machine upon entering the restaurant.

Many salarymen dislike Sundays, but most of all, they hate Mondays. I'm no exception. That's why I've decided to make Mondays my cheat day and go out for a big meal and drinks almost every week. I visited the "Yappari Steak" restaurant in Kitakyushu this time, where they offer unlimited rice, salad, and soup. Unlike the previous locations, I decided to try the hamburger instead of the steak. However, the hamburger was served completely rare, which was a bit concerning as it was made with chicken meat from outside Kyushu and minced meat. I tried to cook it more on the hot plate, but it was still tough and hard to eat. Despite this, the unlimited rice, salad, and soup refills were appreciated. Normally, I would visit multiple places on Mondays, ending at a bar, but this time I stayed at this restaurant and kept refilling until I was satisfied. I discovered that the meat juices from the hamburger, when mixed with white rice and garlic soy sauce, created a delicious combination. If only they had garlic like the other location, I could have made garlic rice for an unbeatable taste. As I was about to leave after eating five servings of rice, a customer requested garlic and wasabi from the staff. I wish I had known they had it hidden, as I would have made garlic rice or even tried wasabi soy sauce rice. Overall, the rare hamburger was disappointing.

I ended up having the 180g steak (1,000 yen). It was cooked quite rare, but being able to choose the level of doneness on the hot plate was nice. The rice, soup, and salad were self-serve buffet style. There were both white and black rice options. There were also a variety of steak sauces available, which were delicious.

Visited on the night of April 22, 2021. There is parking for 4 more cars at the back besides the front. As soon as you enter, there is a ticket machine. It's a shame that you can't order slowly near the entrance, it's better to take your time at your seat. Ordered a 200g sirloin steak and a highball. The highball arrived quickly. However, the color was clearly thin. As expected, it was disappointing. Is it at the level of a 100 yen highball during happy hour? The sirloin on the lava plate was great! It was quite delicious, but I felt that there were a lot of tendons. However, the seasonings such as garlic soy sauce, ponzu, and Japanese-style sweet sauce were all thin and lackluster. Even the wasabi didn't seem spicy. I don't know if it's because it's in Okinawa? Maybe it's unrelated. There was only one type of soup and salad, which was too lonely. It's honestly a hassle to walk back to the ticket machine to buy a refill of highball. The staff's service was polite, and they explained things clearly. That was good. Maybe once a year.

I tried the sirloin steak (200g) for 1680 yen, but I found that the "Yappari Steak" (rump steak) I had before was quite delicious. Comparing the prices per 100g, the rump steak costs 666 yen while the sirloin costs 840 yen. The sirloin was not as good as the rump steak - it was tough and sinewy. Personally, I think the 225g portion of the "Yappari Steak" is just right for me, as I found 150g to be a bit lacking. Overall, it depends on how you're feeling that day. Thank you for the meal.

When watching a certain TV show, steak was being praised. I had a bad experience with a filet steak without sear at the Tobata branch before, it had a rubbery texture and wasn't delicious. I didn't think I would visit again. However, due to various circumstances, I ended up at the Kokura Kita branch. I ordered the cheap steak as usual to avoid spending too much. First, I helped myself to salad and egg soup. While I was doing that, the steak arrived. Oh, this time it has a nice sear. When I cut it and pressed it against the hot lava stone, it cooked properly. It was tender without any tough parts, easy to eat. I tried different sauces to change the flavor. I wonder what went wrong last time? Maybe they didn't sear it properly when serving, and the lava stone wasn't heated enough. I got a bit excited, so I added some lean meat. The difference with the regular steak is that when cooked, it becomes slightly dry. Anyway, it's a good choice when you want to eat a hearty meal. Thank you for the meal.

I ordered a 400g lean steak, similar to the one I had at the Yahata branch of the Yappari Steak restaurant near the attached elementary school of the education university. The order is placed through a ticket machine with prepayment, located in the windbreak room (between outside and inside). All items at this restaurant come with rice, soup, and salad. The rice options include white rice and black rice, while the salad options are cabbage salad and macaroni salad. Today's soup was egg soup. The steak is served on a lava stone instead of a hot plate, and the lean meat is quite voluminous. I think it's better to have some muscle in it. The steak sauce is optional, and I enjoyed mine with ponzu and sweet Japanese-style sauce. The remaining half of the steak was topped with chopped wasabi and eaten with ponzu and sweet Japanese-style sauce, making it even more delicious. The meat was naturally voluminous (laughs). Recently, there has been a decrease in sudden cravings and a slight increase in Yappari Steak. There are various theories, but I think Yappari Steak is winning because of its high cost performance and ample volume, as well as the peace of mind from prepayment. I will either visit this place again or try something different at the Yahata Aeon mall next time. Thank you for the meal!

It is a steak chain restaurant originating from Okinawa, which has been a topic of conversation lately. The restaurant opened in a place that used to be a soba shop. It may seem like an unusual location for locals, but it is likely a strategic move to increase cost performance. This was my first visit to Yappari Steak. The restaurant has a small interior with Okinawan folk music playing in the background and is non-smoking with ashtrays available outside. ◇ Seating There are 10 counter seats facing each other, 6 tables for 4 people, and 1 table for 2 people. ◇ Menu Structure They use a ticket vending machine system, which is well-organized and easy to understand. In Kokura Kita Ward, the steak is really cheap and delicious (*´ω`*) At first, I didn't have high expectations because I thought it might be a copycat of Ikinari Steak. First, you buy a meal ticket from the ticket machine. I recommend the 225g steak for 1480 yen. Until the end of June, there was a special for 270g for 1480 yen. I ordered the 225g steak. The cost performance is great and I highly recommend it. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is like a festival with Okinawan folk songs playing. You can have unlimited refills of rice, salad, and soup in a self-service style. Even the water is self-serve. As a chubby person, I appreciate that. There are two types of rice available, white rice and black rice. Of course, I eat both, but the steak plate is made of lava stone from the world heritage site Mount Fuji. It would have been nice if they used stones from Shuri Castle, considering it's an Okinawan restaurant. The rare meat is thinly sliced like roast beef and dipped in sauce before eating. It's delicious, tender, and cheap. The combination of garlic soy sauce and wasabi is especially tasty. There's another recommendation, but I won't tell you what it is (mystery). I think I'll be visiting this place often.

Finally, there is a "Yappari Steak" in Kokura too. I didn't come here based on recommendations from pro wrestling people, but I did see a large banner at the venue, so maybe they are sponsoring the place? It could also be related to the mixed martial arts event that was held at the same time. The store is very eye-catching with its orange exterior. I initially thought of trying the "Yappari Steak" on my first visit, but I got tempted by the "Classic Lean Meat Comparison Set". It comes with 100g each of lean meat and sirloin, with rice and salad for only 1280 yen. While waiting, you can help yourself to rice, soup, and salad. The soup is egg soup, and there are two types of salad - cabbage and macaroni. There were about 5 different dressings available. The table condiments were very well-stocked, so I eagerly prepared them. Chopped garlic, onion sauce, and Japanese-style sweet sauce in three separate dishes - exciting! The steaks arrived steaming hot, and the meat pieces are quite large. The lean meat almost looks square-shaped. I was a bit worried about how to eat it, but it was surprisingly easy to cut with a knife. It was so tender! I cut a large piece, dipped it in sauce, and savored it. It was so juicy! The lava stone was extremely hot, and it quickly cooked the red meat to perfection in just a few seconds. I like my steak rare, so I carefully ate it without letting it cook too much. The Japanese-style sweet sauce with garlic was my favorite. It leaned more towards grilled meat than steak, but it paired well with rice. I couldn't find any gristle in the meat, and I finished my meal smoothly. The dishes can be left on the table after eating. As I left, I noticed that warm air was still emanating from the lava stone, which was surprising. The stone retains heat for a long time, and the meat juices keep sizzling. I highly recommend wearing the paper apron they provide! I rarely eat lean meat, so I didn't feel full after eating 200g. My steps felt light and I didn't feel bloated. The price was like a lunch set, but it was a satisfying dinner. Although I usually eat fatty meat, so my perception may be off (laughs). I thought this place might be like the stand-and-eat steak place I've been to, but people were eating slowly, like in a regular family restaurant or steakhouse. The background music was all Okinawan music, creating a bright and enjoyable atmosphere. The chairs were low and comfortable, allowing you to sit firmly. Lunchtime might have a different vibe, but I enjoyed my experience. Next time, I might try the sirloin, as they have a comparison set that seems like a good deal.

I have been to this restaurant at least 7 times since it opened, and I was surprised by how cheap it is. The prices have gone up a bit now, but it's still affordable. It's a relaxing space where you can eat to your heart's content, so it's become my favorite. You can have unlimited refills on salad, soup, and two types of rice. There are also various sauces, all of which are delicious. It's really satisfying to be able to eat so much for just 1,000 yen. The parking lot is going to be expanded soon. However, the reviews from the top-ranking Mr. Konamisan are too funny.笑

I visited the restaurant on a Saturday evening around 6 o'clock. People of all ages were enjoying their meat dishes! I bought a meal ticket after having a drink before entering. I decided to go with the classic 225g steak. The restaurant was located near Tenjin in Fukuoka Prefecture. The seating was a bit cramped for two people, but the meat arrived just in time. I had rice, soup, and salad before the meat was served. The steak was delicious with various sauces. I finished it all and left the restaurant satisfied.
