Bubbles, gin, and whiskey. Located behind the Nishitetsu Electric Building on Watanabe-dori, BarKuraKura is a cozy little bar on the second floor of a kushikatsu restaurant. The interior is predominantly red with dim lighting, creating a somewhat moody atmosphere for a female-run establishment. The sparkling wine was served in a glass for 700 yen, accompanied by frozen fruits as an appetizer. For the second drink, I opted for a Bombay Sapphire soda for 900 yen. Lastly, I tried the Haneda whiskey from Honbo Shuzo at the counter for 700 yen, which was rather mild in flavor. It was still early in the evening, so perhaps that's why. Cheers!
