Crossroad is located near the Takezue intersection in Yahata Nishi-ku, Kitakyushu City. I initially thought it was a bar, but when I saw a lunch sign while passing by, I decided to stop by. Upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted by the chef and seated at a table of my choice. Although it used to be a bar, it is now a restaurant with a surprisingly authentic kitchen visible from the dining area. The lunch menu consisted of a monthly rotation of daily specials, allowing customers to enjoy a variety of dishes without getting bored. I opted for the daily special, which included salad, soup, rice, and coffee for 800 yen. Today's main dish was "Tender Braised Pork Belly with Daikon Radish." The meal started with a salad and soup, followed by the main course served with rice. The pickles were yuzu daikon, and the pork belly was perfectly seasoned and tender. It came with mustard on the side, adding a nice touch to the dish. I also had a second helping of rice for an additional 100 yen, followed by a dessert for 200 yen, which was a crepe filled with bananas and topped with whipped cream and chocolate sauce. It was a satisfying lunch experience. Other lunch options included pasta lunch for 800 yen, half & half lunch for 1000 yen, and the option to add a dessert for 200 yen. For dinner, they offered a ladies' set for 1200 yen, a chef's choice course for 2000 yen, individual dishes starting from 300 yen, and party catering for groups of four or more starting from 1500 yen. They also had a drink-all-you-can option. Reservations came with a complimentary bite-sized dessert, and if you pre-select your dishes, you can enjoy your meal immediately upon arrival. They also catered to specific budgets and requests.
