"Tasty fried young chicken and orange wine" Visited #Kogarasu for the first time on August 19, 2023. It's said to be a sister store of #Torichi. The theme here is fried young chicken. However, they have a great selection of alcohol! They offered four types of orange wine, which paired wonderfully with the fried dishes. I initially thought of having highballs with the fried food, but the lightness of the fried dishes paired perfectly with the orange wine. The fried corn was also delicious. The spicy daikon radish was a great appetizer, and the carrot and citrus salad was refreshing. The grapefruit and carrot, olive oil fried chicken with crispy skin and juicy meat, and corn fritters were all delicious. I would definitely come back to this restaurant again.

"I visited 'Kogarasu' for the first time and I was excited because I love chicken dishes. I started with a delicious draft beer and ordered the course called 'Hitotoori.' The deep-fried tofu menu seems to be confident, but the taste is not that great. There are many unique drinks, and the atmosphere is average. The service is decent. The cost performance is unclear. The closing somen noodles left a strong impression. They are lighter than ramen, but perfect for when you want to end the meal with noodles.

I headed to the area with many standing bars in Kego. I heard that they started serving drinks on Saturday afternoons from July! Perfect for bar hopping, right? First, I tried the raw chicken with leaf wasabi in soy sauce. The wasabi adds a subtle kick to the raw chicken. But the leaf wasabi in soy sauce, it's just delicious!!! The crunchy texture and mild spiciness are so tasty ♡ From the deep-fried menu, I had chicken breast and neck meat. The outside was crispy with a satisfying sound! The simplicity enhances the deliciousness (*´꒳`*) You can also enjoy different flavors with curry, sansho pepper, and shichimi. Personally, I love to sprinkle a lot of sansho pepper on it (≧∀≦) It was light and not greasy, which was great. Thank you for the meal.

They offer a variety of dishes such as fried bird, fried vegetables, small dishes, and finishing dishes, along with a wide selection of wines. The staff recommended the set menu, which was delicious. The bird sashimi was topped with plenty of wasabi, giving it a slightly sharp flavor but very tasty. The small dishes were enjoyable, and the fried young bird included breast and thigh meat, which were crispy and delicious, even the skin. I also tried the fried vegetables, which included burdock, and it was delicious. With good value for money, this place is perfect for both the first stop and the last stop of the night.

I've always wanted to visit Kogarasu. It's not Kotori, it's Kogarasu. The high ceiling and spacious seating make it very comfortable. Even during the pandemic, there is a relatively safe feeling. Now, the main dish here is the deep-fried chicken. The skin is crispy, and the inside is juicy, offering a deliciousness that is different from fried chicken. The umami of the chicken flows out with the fat, creating a truly impressive flavor. The fried potatoes are also incredibly fluffy and delicious, a must-order side dish. I also enjoyed some sake and chicken sashimi, making it a very satisfying dinner time. The staff is friendly and it's a great restaurant. I definitely want to visit again. Thank you for the meal~

"Torii" to "Kogarasu" is a lovely place where you can casually drop by for a drink. These sister restaurants offer a unique dining experience. It's a bird-themed night with a variety of dishes that bird lovers will enjoy. The Alchemie drink is amazing. It was a wonderful night, feeling satisfied and a little tipsy.

It is a sister restaurant of Yakitori Toriichi. The interior is modern and simple with glass windows. The restaurant has a full open counter where customers can sit around in a U-shape. They offer a unique dish called "sautéed", which is a straightforward and rare form of cooking. Some recommended dishes include: Hinata Natsu and carrot salad for 400 yen (it's a small dish, so one per person is enough), sautéed chicken thigh which is juicy and crispy, fried chicken wings with crispy skin and concentrated flavor, and chicken neck which is crispy and goes well with yuzu pepper. The restaurant also serves grilled chicken tenderloin, lemon squeezed seared chicken tenderloin, fried vegetables such as large crispy yam and hot potatoes (Inca no Mezame) with a sweet yellow interior. You can order a course menu on the day of your visit, including chicken sashimi, various side dishes, fried vegetables, and sautéed chicken breast and thigh. You can also add additional items as you like. Overall, it was a delicious meal.
