Today's lunch was at "Jolly Pasta" after a long time. I ordered the "Cold Cappellini" with luxurious sea urchin and seafood cream sauce for 1749 yen (tax included). The sea urchin, shrimp, squid, and other seafood were plentiful, and the cold pasta was quickly absorbed into my stomach. The taste was just right, not too strong or too light, and it was delicious. My mother also said that the "Kama-age White Shrimp and Scallop with Grated Cod Roe Japanese-style" that she had was delicious. Thank you for the meal. Jolly Pasta is located at 2-2-7 Higashi Toyonaka-cho, Izumiotsu City, Osaka Prefecture. Phone number: 072-540-3161. Open from 11:00 to 24:00, closed on holidays. It is about a 10-15 minute walk from Izumi-Fuchu Station on the JR Sakai Line.

I had never been to Jolly Pasta before. Recently, I thought maybe it was delicious, so I decided to go. The conclusion was disappointing. I felt that there were fewer options than I expected. I wanted to eat the classic pasta dish Carbonara, so I ordered it. The Carbonara itself was weak in flavor and the noodles had no taste. The texture was not bad, but it was just hard and seemed cheap. I couldn't believe that Carbonara wasn't delicious. I thought it was dangerous if there are people in Japan who say this is delicious. I understood the difficulty of trying to lower the purchasing cost for chain restaurants.

I am "Noronori", who mainly walks around eating lunch in Sakai. My taste preferences don't seem to change much, as I have liked cream-based dishes since I was a child. Maybe I really like white sauce? Jolly Pasta offers a great lunch deal on weekdays until 5pm, so I decided to go for a cream pasta from their grand menu. The salmon and ikura cream pasta was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Today, I had a meeting with a wealthy Chinese client at the first location. It was interesting because they didn't seem to have a clear distinction between being frugal and spending money. Then, we had another meeting in Izumiotsu. We decided to have lunch at a pasta restaurant called Jolly Pasta. I ordered the lunch set with extra-large portions of clam tomato cream sauce, while my companion ordered a regular pasta dish. The food was served quickly, and the portions were quite generous. However, the cream sauce didn't taste like tomato at all, and the clam shells were a bit of a hassle. I added some powdered cheese and red pepper oil to change up the flavors, and managed to finish the meal. Overall, it was a satisfying experience.

It's oyster season and I was invited to go eat Oyster Carbonara again, so I went! Last time I had Uni Carbonara and it wasn't quite enough, so this time I asked for extra noodles. When the pasta arrived, it was on a large plate and had a generous portion compared to my friend's regular size. The oysters were delicious, although I thought the salt was a bit strong. However, when eaten with the pasta, it balanced out nicely. I might come back again when they have seasonal specials. Thank you for the meal!

On my way home from work, I passed by Route 26 and suddenly felt like eating spaghetti after a long time. I decided to stop by a family-style spaghetti restaurant with reasonable prices. There were so many types of spaghetti on the menu that I couldn't decide, but I ended up ordering my favorite carbonara. I also love Margherita, so I ordered that as well. Of course, I got extra noodles with the carbonara. Ordering spaghetti and pizza only cost a little over 1000 yen, which was an amazing deal!

Jolly Pasta Izumiotsu Mozzarella Tomato & Margherita. Our family went out together, with my wife and two sons heading to Sushiro, while my eldest son and I went to Jolly Pasta. There was a 50% chance of getting Mozzarella Tomato.

My friend saw Jolipa's Uni Carbonara on TV and wanted to try it, so we went there. This was my third visit. Despite being tempted by the tomato sauce and Japanese-style dishes, once I saw the sea urchin, nothing else seemed appealing. I ended up ordering the Uni Carbonara. Feeling like it might not be enough, my friend and I also ordered a small pizza each. The soup was refillable. After a little wait, the Uni Carbonara arrived. It seemed slightly different from the menu? Was there not enough sea urchin? Despite these thoughts, we both silently enjoyed the incredibly delicious dish. It was rich and irresistibly tasty. My friend was extremely satisfied. Thank you for the meal!

I went to the Izumiotsu store for the first time. Last time, I received a free cake service ticket at a different store, so I decided to go for lunch with my family on a drive to this store. We ordered the Seafood Soup Spaghetti for 1290 yen before tax. The soup was filled with shrimp, mussels, clams, crab, squid, and other ingredients. It looked so delicious that I couldn't stop eating. I squeezed some lemon on it to add a refreshing touch, and it was really tasty. Have you ever tasted Jolly Pasta? It had that kind of flavor, which was really good. We also ordered the Mentaiko Pasta for 590 yen before tax, which had the classic Jolly Pasta flavor. The Anchovy Pizza for 590 yen had a taste that was somewhere between store-bought and homemade, but it seemed like the basic pizza flavor for younger people nowadays. We also received a free cake with the service ticket, and we were already full. It's nice that children up to elementary school age can enjoy the free drink bar. My daughter was happy and drank three cups. It's a great service. I will visit Jolly Pasta again when I crave it. Thank you for the meal!

Today, I visited "Sobakusa" in Izumiotsu. It was during the Obon holiday and it was already 1 pm, so I was a bit worried if it would be crowded. As expected, there was a sign saying "Currently full" placed outside the restaurant. My family doesn't understand the concept of waiting in line, so I suggested asking the staff how long the wait would be. My partner pointed out that the sign said it was full, but I insisted that maybe it would only be a 5-minute wait. On the other hand, my partner suddenly mentioned wanting to try Jolly Pasta since we hadn't been there before. So, we decided to go there instead. We moved our car to the spacious parking lot next to Jolly Pasta and entered the restaurant. Luckily, there were a few empty seats available. The restaurant had a bright and spacious interior, with a lot of families dining there during the Obon holiday. The fashion style of T-shirts and Crocs seemed to be popular among the younger crowd. The menu was extensive and interesting, with a variety of options to choose from. We ordered the "Value Set for Two" for 3,129 yen, which was quite affordable. The food was served promptly, and the portion sizes were surprisingly large. The taste of the dishes varied, with some being better than others. Overall, it was a satisfying meal, especially the coffee at the drink bar. Despite some minor issues, we enjoyed the experience at Jolly Pasta.

I went for dinner ☆ My usual pattern is pasta & cheese fondue, but this time I opted for my favorite pumpkin dish, gnocchi ♪ "Pumpkin Gnocchi with Colorful Vegetables in Pumpkin Cream" is what I ordered. To balance it out, I also ordered some vegetables! "Spinach and Bacon Butter Saute" is what I got. Although it wasn't a set menu, I got free refills of soup! Mine was an onion soup with just onions. It's always nice to get something for free, right? (laughs)
"Pumpkin Gnocchi with Colorful Vegetables in Pumpkin Cream" (¥780) The creamy pumpkin sauce coated the vegetables nicely. The vegetables had a perfect texture, not too firm or too soft, and the sweetness came out well. The gnocchi was super chewy and combined perfectly with the rich pumpkin sauce, creating a double pumpkin attack! It seemed a bit small at first, but the chewiness of the gnocchi made each piece satisfying, leaving me feeling just about full!
"Spinach and Bacon Butter Saute" (¥280) The sweetness of the butter permeated the spinach. It's buttery but not greasy, which is great. With the addition of bacon, it has a nice crispy texture, making it simple yet enjoyable to eat. It may look plain, but it's not boring at all! I recommend this dish to those who feel like they need more leafy green vegetables in their meal!

I visited this restaurant with two friends. The interior was spacious, and the portion size of the food was just right. I had the meat sauce spaghetti, which was delicious. We also ordered a few appetizers. Some of the stir-fried dishes were a bit too salty, but overall, it was a safe and enjoyable dining experience. The food arrived quickly after ordering. The restaurant had a clean atmosphere. I would definitely like to visit again if I have the chance.
