I saw it on Instagram, even though I'm in my sixties, I made a solo reservation for 20:30 and visited. The exterior and interior were trendy, with mostly young couples and young people. The oden was delicious and light, and the sesame tofu was warm and tasty. The sake was also good. The carbonara was a nice finishing touch. The menu was a bit different for someone in their sixties.

There was a small sign on the street, and I had been following their Instagram. This time, I invited a friend from the neighborhood and decided to visit the place. Location: As a local resident, I thought I wouldn't get lost, but yes, I did get lost once. My friend also seemed to be lost. We turned into a quiet residential area and found the place right in the middle. It's about a 15-20 minute walk from Umeda, with a mix of old and new houses giving it a unique charm. The interior: The place had two counters, one facing the wall and the other facing the kitchen. The orange dim lighting created a cozy and stylish atmosphere with a blend of old and new. The operation was handled by what seemed to be the owner and a female staff member. Menu: They offered oden, appetizers (cold dishes), side dishes (grilled or fried dishes), and pasta. On the day of our visit, they were serving "Kubota Manju" sake as a treat for the New Year. It had a lovely aroma and a deep, rich taste when sipped from a wine glass. Food: The oden was delicious, with daikon soaked in broth, silky tofu, chewy fu, and perfectly balanced half-cooked eggs. The mackerel nanban-zuke with a balance of acidity and sweetness was a great way to finish the meal. The fluffy and sweet taro tempura and the cheesy chicken cutlet were also delightful. Overall, it was a fun and cozy place to spend time, whether you want to relax or have a lively experience. I would love to visit again soon. Thank you for the delicious meal! I read Kobamitsu-san's review and wanted to try this restaurant where you can eat oden and pasta. The location is in Nakazakicho. It was nestled in a residential area, with dim lighting. The interior had only counter seats. We started with a toast with a Sapporo Red Star beer. I had already decided what I wanted to eat from looking at Instagram. From the oden menu, I ordered: - Egg (200 yen) - Minami-Kan Age (300 yen) - Daikon Radish (250 yen) - Beef Tendon (500 yen) The oden had a delicious broth with a salty taste that went well with the drinks. It was my first time trying salt oden. I also ordered: - Tosui Potato Salad (450 yen) It had crispy garlic chips on top, giving the potatoes a crunchy texture. It was delicious with pickled radish. - Fried Shrimp Bread (750 yen) Juicy shrimp with melted cheese. A happy combination! I enjoyed it with mayonnaise and shichimi. - Warm Sesame Tofu (450 yen) I had warm sesame tofu for the first time. It was warmed in broth and delicious. - Special Sauce Ebi Mayo (700 yen) I felt like having Chinese food that day, so I ordered pasta: Carbonara vs. Bolognese. - Carbonara with Dashi (950 yen) - Ayaka's Onigiri Tuna Wasabi Mayo Onigiri and Chicken Shiso Miso Onigiri, both shared. - Lemon Sour from a Specialty Sake Bar (500 yen) The restroom and towels had a refreshing scent. The only downside was that the plate for the potato salad was not changed after finishing it, so I wished for more plate changes.

The interior features a chic yet stylish design with a counter made from a single board and lighting fixtures crafted from upcycled materials. Here are some recommended dishes: - Oden: Beef tendon (500 yen) - a mix of tender and chewy parts soaked in flavorful broth. - Oden: Egg (200 yen) - half-boiled eggs soaked in broth overnight, a unique orange-colored semi-soft style. - Tosui Potato Salad (450 yen) - a delicious blend of creamy potatoes and crispy garlic fries, perfect for pairing with sake. - Carbonara with Dashi Flavor (950 yen) - a delightful carbonara with a hint of porcini mushroom aroma, ideal for both appetizers and main courses. - Sake: Biwa Sakura Mochi from Hiroshima (500 yen/glass) The name "tosui" is derived from the flower language of fragrant olive, meaning "ecstasy."
