This time, I successfully explored a new sake bar! Enjoyed both the sake and the food. One dish I definitely want to have again is the stir-fried Man'yoji Togarashi peppers with egg over rice. The Man'yoji Togarashi peppers had varying levels of spiciness which was interesting, and they paired well with the slightly sweet seasoning. The egg over rice was so delicious that I found myself wanting seconds. I was surprised by the number of foreigners at the bar. Despite not knowing the area well, I thought I was heading towards Nagahoribashi Station but ended up encountering a crowd of people in front of the Glico sign. I thought, "I've seen this on TV before!" and snapped a photo. Without intending to, I ended up doing something that felt like sightseeing in Osaka.

I really like this place and have been recommending it to everyone (laughs). The sake and food are delicious! It's a Japanese sake bar, so they only serve sake and not beer, so it may not be suitable for those who want beer. The chicken wings with spicy cod roe, and the whole grilled new onions were delicious! The new onions were so thick!

I went two days in a row (lol) to a striped-patterned sake place, and I love it. The fresh oysters here are even more delicious than at a specialized oyster shop!! They are sourced from the wife's hometown in Miyagi, Tohoku, and they are big and incredibly tasty. The egg over rice was also super delicious.

It's been a while since I last visited! This is Shiki, a Japanese sake bar in Shinsaibashi! They support Tohoku's recovery through sake and ingredients, which is a wonderful concept for a restaurant! I haven't seen any of the sake they have today before, and they all have unique characteristics and are delicious! I end up drinking too much (laughs). Not only is the sake delicious, but the food is also well-prepared, with everything like sashimi being delicious! Even though it's a bar, you can use it from the very first visit! Above all, the manager and his wife are really lovely, making it a place you want to come back to! I made a reservation for next time before leaving! Looking forward to the next visit!

This is a Japanese sake bar in Shinsaibashi! It is located on the second floor of a slightly hard-to-find building! Despite the challenging entrance, once you step inside, you will find a very cozy and comfortable space! Although it is a sake bar, they also serve delicious homemade dishes that are all fantastic in taste! The bar is run by the manager and his wife, both of whom have wonderful personalities and provided great hospitality even though it was my first visit! They mainly offer sake from Tohoku to support the region after the earthquake, and the bar has a solid story behind it that makes you want to support them! Overall, I think it is a fantastic place!

This place is located in Higashi-Shinsaibashi, where you can enjoy a cozy atmosphere with a Japanese vibe. I really wanted to drink sake on this day, so I was happy to be able to choose from a variety of options. Since I don't know much about sake, I asked the staff to help me (//∇//) lol. When drinking alcohol, you must eat, so here they have a great selection of "obanzai" dishes. You can enjoy the cozy obanzai in a slightly stylish way. They also have dishes like tamagokake gohan and donburi, perfect for a second round. Pairing with sake, they have cold sake, and today's "arani" dish, and sweet potato butter. The obanzai dishes are delicious without a doubt, and the "arani" is elegant. I always eat sweet potato butter if it's available, as I love sweet potatoes. In the atmosphere of a cozy bar, you can feel Japan. It's great to be born in a country with four seasons like Japan, and in a country with sake. The obanzai dishes of "summer" are delicious, I wonder how the "winter" menu will be. Recently, the days have been getting shorter, and it's getting dim and chilly. The end of summer...moving forward without stopping in this country of four seasons. When will that be? The seasons come and go, "summer" will soon be followed by "autumn". What will its face be like...

This Japanese sake bar is run by a beautiful couple. It's rare to find a bar that focuses on sake, and they have various unique offerings. Even beginners will feel at ease as they explain everything. Sake starts at 500 yen for 120cc, so it's a good value. The food is authentic and features high-quality fish with skilled cooking. The portions are modest, but the overall value is good. Every dish was delicious with no disappointments. You can even go alone and they will engage in conversation. Once you visit, you'll want to come back again.

I have used this restaurant several times. Even if you are not familiar with Japanese sake, the master will provide you with a sake that suits you and the food is very delicious. Although the specialty is fish, the meat dishes are also very tasty! It's a good place for Japanese sake beginners! Also, they have some sake that is not commonly found in Osaka!

I went to a Japanese sake bar called Shiki in Minami with my drinking buddies for the second time!!! It's located on the second floor of a building, a bit hard to notice, but the inside is very stylish with 2 tables and around 10 counter seats (not sure because I was drunk haha). The master is very friendly, and I heard he runs the place with his wife. I really admire couples who run businesses together. The first impression was perfect, just the kind of place I like. My friend had pre-ordered a lavish sashimi platter, which was incredibly fresh and the fat just melted in your mouth!! Seriously, it was so delicious! Then we had a potato salad that was torched with a burner, also amazing!! The sake was flowing and the seafood dishes that followed were delicious too. We ended with a grilled rice ball in a thick sauce, which was also fantastic. I can't remember much because I was too drunk, sorry! It was all so good! Thank you to my friend for introducing me to this place! Eating and drinking heartily for 4000 yen is a steal. Is there anywhere in Minami where you can get such fresh sashimi? This place was top-notch! It seems like a great spot for guys' nights out or to take your girlfriend on a date. They mentioned they also serve fresh oysters in winter, so I definitely want to go back then! Next time, I'll make sure to take proper photos of the sake (haha).

Today I visited a cozy Japanese sake bar located in a bustling city. The bartender, who has a beard, always recommends different sake varieties either daily or weekly, and they are always delicious. The small dishes are perfectly seasoned and portioned, allowing me to enjoy a variety of sake in small amounts. The bartender is knowledgeable and patiently explains the different sake flavors, from dry to sweet, so I feel comfortable trying new ones. The atmosphere is relaxed, and I can easily strike up conversations with other customers at the counter. I will definitely visit again soon!

The restaurant is known for its sake, but it was a place with delicious fish. The recommended dishes for the day were fresh oysters and yellowtail, so I ordered them right away. I tried starting with beer, but for fish, I decided to go with sake and ordered a brand I had never seen before. There weren't many types of sake, but there were a few unfamiliar ones that piqued my interest. The best sake I had was called "Souto Shichisei" from Shimane, with a stylish label. The taste was solid and it seemed like it could become one of my favorites. It paired well with the fresh oysters. After that, I ordered about 4 dishes by myself and added 3 more drinks before calling it a night. I think you can enjoy a light meal and drinks for around 3000 yen. I will definitely go back again.

It's a Japanese sake bar, with a focus on serving a variety of Japanese sake. While the selection may not be extensive, they have some popular options as well as some unique ones that you may not have tried before. If you're not a fan of sake, they also offer plum wine and beer. For food, they serve fresh sashimi (get there early for the assorted platter!) and home-cooked dishes by the owner. On this particular visit, I enjoyed dishes like potato salad, yuba with sansho pepper, pickled radish, as well as sashimi, stir-fried spring cabbage with firefly squid, and salt stir-fried chicken tenderloin with mushrooms. Everything was delicious, especially the sashimi which was so fresh that it disappeared in a blink of an eye. My recommendation is the "oden udon," which is udon noodles in oden broth topped with pork back fat. It looks like a pork fat udon, but tastes like oden broth! I definitely want to try it again, but maybe I'll wait until it gets colder as oden is more of a winter dish. They have about 15 seats in total, a mix of counter and small high tables, so it's not ideal for large groups. It's a calm and relaxed atmosphere, making it a welcoming place for solo female diners. Make a reservation in advance as the menu may be limited on days when the owner is not around.
