After work, I stopped by for a quick drink! It's a standing bar, but this place has seats. There's a seating charge, but it's cheaper and more straightforward than being charged for strange appetizers. It's a good place for a quick drink. The drinks and food are inexpensive. The negitoro bowl with overflowing salmon roe was delicious!

It was the third stop for day drinking at a popular bar that opened at 2 pm, so the exact time was a bit hazy, but it was around 6 pm. There were a good number of customers, with a lot of young women. The prices for snacks and drinks were cheap, living up to the name of a popular bar. Compared to the first stop where drinks were 800 yen, here they were less than half the price. It's a great place to go with friends for a quick drink.

I have been to various Tengu-san restaurants, but this one is my first time here. The interior design doesn't really feel like a Tengu-san style, maybe because they took over an existing space. The menu is almost the same as other Tengu-san restaurants, but it was a bit disappointing that they skimped on the Hoppy drink.

I went to "Kandaya" in Shinjuku Sanchome with El-chan! After going to the Umakara Fest with El-chan and feeling like having some drinks, we decided to go to this restaurant that El-chan often goes to. It was around noon, but surprisingly, it was open and very crowded. Luckily, we found seats for two at the counter! When I looked at the prices of drinks, I noticed that a highball was 190 yen, while oolong tea was 290 yen, which was the opposite of what I expected. So, I ordered a highball. We also ordered various dishes, including squid with wasabi cream cheese, wasabi-flavored chicken heart skewers, and a colorful plate of chilled tofu with lots of toppings. All of them were great for snacking. Personally, I loved the wasabi dishes the most. The squid with wasabi and cream cheese was a big hit! The chicken heart skewers were juicy and delicious too! The chilled tofu with lots of toppings looked beautiful and tasted great. Each dish was priced around 200-300 yen, so it was easy to enjoy a variety of dishes without breaking the bank. Finally, we had some chicken broth to soothe our stomachs. I really enjoy these traditional red lantern-style restaurants (like standing bars)! I definitely want to visit this place again. It's a popular spot, so you might need some luck to get in. But I'll do my best! Thank you to the staff for their hard work! Thank you for the delicious meal!

This is a shop located on the first floor, about a 3-minute walk from Shinjuku Sanchome Station. They have a menu with point system, and there are plenty of ideas to keep you from getting bored. It's a great place where you'll want to relax if you have the time. Next time, I'd like to try their skewers and other side dishes. Thank you for the meal.

In short, it's a reasonably priced place where you can go for a light drink with colleagues after work. You can have draft beer for around 300 yen, there is a decent variety of dishes, prices are affordable, and the taste is decent. However, it's not the kind of place where you can relax and drink slowly.笑

The taste is at the level of a chain izakaya, but the prices are incredibly cheap. The atmosphere and service are good, making it recommended for a second round. Make sure to order the anchovy fried potatoes and Toro Takta Tower. They are both high-quality dishes in terms of cost performance and taste.

I visited for a casual drink. The main seating options are counter seats and two-person tables by the wall, with two four-person tables in the back. The menu is reasonably priced and offers a variety of choices. After the initial order, you can conveniently place orders by scanning a QR code with your smartphone. However, I felt a bit uneasy when I noticed that the shiso leaves on the dishes had changed color, as well as the squid sashimi. I sat at a two-person table by the wall, and I was bothered by people's bags and clothes brushing against me whenever they walked by. The food was decent, the staff's service was satisfactory, and they had implemented infection control measures such as acrylic boards at the counter seats. The seating arrangement felt a bit cramped, so I'm not sure if I would want to go back. Overall, I would rate it as a 2 out of 5.

"Kanda-ya" Shinjuku Sanchome is a popular stand-up bar chain with a wide variety of dishes such as beef sukiyaki hot pot and chicken liver sashimi. The prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is lively, making it a great place to enjoy a meal. Don't forget, delicious food has zero calories! If you're in Shinjuku Sanchome, be sure to stop by.

I was about to leave after having a final drink, but then I noticed a hot "senbero" deal going on, so I decided to check it out. There was a one-hour time limit for either sitting at the counter or outside, but it was a great deal. Each person gets 10 "point sticks" like in mahjong, which can be exchanged for drinks and snacks. By the way, a friend who was drinking at the Kita-Senju branch at the same time only paid 1000 yen. I don't remember seeing this kind of "senbero" deal at my local Kawasaki branch. With just one "point stick," you can get a highball, making it a very cost-effective service. We enjoyed some snacks as well, and had a good time overall.

"Kanda-ya Shinjuku Sanchome Suehiro-dori branch is a budget-friendly izakaya. The tsukune and pork stamina skewers were decent, but the okra karaage curry flavor was disappointing. They offer weekday specials which are cost-effective. Overall, it was a bit of a letdown."

Shinjuku Sanchome Station is a 30-second walk away, just 152m from the station. This is a restaurant in Shinjuku that I went to for a first meeting. There are tables and chairs outside where we ate. The menu is very affordable, making it a popular spot for casual dining. They offer trendy drinks and stylish options, giving it a modern feel. The food may not be top quality, but the cost performance is great, making it perfect for first or subsequent meetings. It's conveniently located near the station and offers great value for money.

I was looking for a casual place to have drinks and visited here for the first time. The seating is quite cramped, but it has a lively atmosphere like a typical local bar, and the prices are very cheap. There is a wide variety of snacks and drinks, and they come out quickly, so I had a fun time.

I always thought it was just a standing bar, but you can actually sit inside. Maybe outside is just for standing? It was my first time at Kamiyandaya. They have a wide variety of menu items that I want to try, and the prices are reasonable. I also tried the Napolitan, but unfortunately, compared to Napolitans I've had at other places, it didn't quite measure up. However, the lemon tower is also cheap. The plates look like school lunch trays, which is a bit strange, but the location is convenient with the subway nearby.

Tengu's new concept has opened in Shinjuku Sanchome, and I was interested so I decided to check it out. The restaurant was small, but it turned out to be a "senbero" establishment. The counter was cramped and there was no space to hang coats, but it was interesting to see how Tengu has changed. This restaurant also had mobile ordering, but I found it unnecessary since the staff was so close by. Despite that, I had a good impression as they quickly accommodated me. However, within 30 minutes, they announced last orders for both food and drinks. I hurried to place my order and enjoyed the avocado butter skewers, which were delicious. I ended my meal with some ramen, which had slightly undercooked noodles and was a bit salty, but still a good way to finish the meal.

I finished my lunch at Sanchome but it was a bit incomplete, so I was looking for a nice place to have a drink. I stumbled upon this place which is labeled as a stand, but they have chairs and charge a seating fee. I visited for the first time on a Saturday as my second stop around 1:00 PM.
Seating fee is 110 yen (including tax). I started with a medium-sized draft beer for 319 yen. From the skewers menu, I tried the Kanda-ya specialty salted tsukune for 220 yen, limited to one per person. It was big, hot, with a lot of salt and delicious. I also tried the salted chicken thigh for 99 yen, which was surprisingly large, with a nice charred exterior and medium-rare inside.
I also ordered the Camembert & olive oil for 220 yen, which was delicious with a nice smoky flavor from grilling and plenty of olive oil. I had a glass of sake at room temperature for 275 yen. I also tried a shochu highball for 209 yen. The alcohol content was light and refreshing.
Looking at the menu, I noticed that dishes like Neapolitan or peperoncino were priced at 319 yen, and skewers started at 99 yen, which was very affordable. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was cozy, with partitioned counter seats and a few tables for couples or families.
The staff consisted of three male members who were attentive, making the overall experience almost stress-free. In conclusion, this place in Sanchome is quite famous for its extremely affordable prices. It was my first time visiting, and I was impressed by the cheap drinks and food options. I will definitely be back here again when I find it. Thank you for the meal.

A small izakaya in Shinjuku Sanchome. The interior is very narrow, but the alcohol is served incredibly fast, which is great. The truffle omelette, salted tsukune, and mini ikura donburi were all delicious. There were many other mini donburi options that I would like to try. Thank you for the meal.
