I went to a restaurant recommended by a regular customer in Kyoto and decided to drop by without a reservation. Although they mostly cater to reservations, they kindly allowed me to have just one drink since I really wanted to try it out. I enjoyed some oden dishes with sake. Even though it's still hot in Kyoto, oden and sake were fantastic. It seems that making reservations is a common practice in Kyoto, even for solo diners (although I rarely make reservations). I would like to make a reservation next time so I can fully enjoy the experience.

I was invited to come here and tried it out. The atmosphere at the counter is nice, and the dishes, including oden, come out quickly, which is very much appreciated. In particular, the Omi beef tendon oden was delicious. It would be great if you could eat such dishes at this price. There were many dishes to choose from.

I went for the oden, and the flavors were so rich and delicious! The chef grilling the whole chicken in silence was also excellent. Even though I was too full to order, the rice dishes for finishing all looked delicious, and everyone else was enjoying them.

It was a small dish restaurant with a great atmosphere and high cost performance. What I felt on my trip to Kyoto this time was that the broth is delicious. However, the saltiness of this restaurant was strong, to the point where even people from the Kanto region might find it too salty. Also, I noticed that the staff at the restaurant seemed tense. It's difficult to enjoy the atmosphere and feel good in that kind of environment. It's not that the customer service attitude is bad, they just seemed tense.

At first, I was unsure about the owner, but towards the end, he seemed like a nice person. The food was all delicious and reasonably priced. The seasoning was quite strong, with a strong dashi flavor and less sweetness but more saltiness. Everything seemed like it would go well with alcohol. I will definitely visit again when I go to Kyoto.

The restaurant has a Kyoto-like atmosphere. I found it on TikTok! There were so many delicious Japanese dishes that I couldn't eat much because it was my second stop, which was disappointing. The popular motsu-ni was really delicious, the motsu soaked in flavor. It made me feel happy! I want to go again. Thank you for the delicious meal! ♡

When traveling, it's easy to overeat... Even though it's dinner time, I'm not hungry... But surely I'll get hungry at night, and if possible, I want to eat something delicious... So, this restaurant. I made a reservation for 8:30 PM. The counter seats-only interior is full. It's quite noisy... The building is a renovated old house, and it has a playful atmosphere. I wish there was a bit more space between tables... There's a big oden pot in front of me. Oden gives me a feeling of eating at home, so I don't usually have it outside, but I'll have it this time. It might have been since I had it at Konara in Ochanomizu a long time ago... The homemade hiryozu (300 yen) with lotus root inside is fluffy and delicious. The daikon (250 yen) is a bit firm, isn't it? In Kansai, you have to try the Omi beef tendon (350 yen). It was refreshing with yuzu pepper! The Omi beef tripe stew (700 yen) is sweet and savory with a light feel. It's fun to try various parts. The sake is served in a copper chirori. Even with the same cup size, it feels like more... The small curry (400 yen) has more than I imagined. I learned that there is a culture in Kyoto to have curry as a finishing touch!?

The restaurant seemed unable to make reservations by phone, so I used AutoReserve. I had the following dishes: simmered dish, firefly squid, salted mackerel, Omi beef heart, 4 types of oden, and curry. The quality of all the dishes was high and I definitely want to come back again.

This was my umpteenth visit, and it was my first time going during the busy weekend Golden Time... There were so many young people!! I was surprised because there weren't so many young people the last time I visited. This time, for spring, I had dishes like grilled mackerel, firefly squid with vinegar miso dressing, curry, fried rice, etc... As always, everything I ate was delicious! Thank you for the meal.

You can tell the server is well maintained. For side dishes, let's get "Omi beef tripe stew ¥700" and "Fried tofu with soy sauce ¥500" (゚∀゚) The tripe stew has various parts and tastes delicious! But the portion is small (; ; ) The fried tofu is super tasty! It's different from the ones at the supermarket (´_ゝ`)フッ Another draft beer here! Also ordered "Kyoto bamboo shoot stew ¥1,000"♪ It's the season after all. Kyoto cuisine... On the first night... here - ̗̀( ˶'ᵕ'˶)b( ‘-^ )b "Nikomi Suzuya." This is the restaurant he had reserved in advance. We took the Kintetsu Karasuma Line to get there. With it being the current season, there were many new employees around. The atmosphere of the train felt completely different as we arrived at the different location... I wonder which station it was? I forgot, haha. The walking streets and lined buildings give a Kyoto vibe. Upon entering the retro atmosphere of the restaurant, you can see the cooking area surrounded by counter seats, which looked great. It was a clean and neat place. I immediately ordered a beer! Before long, the beer poured into the black label glass was so delicious, with fine bubbles and a beautiful appearance. I couldn't help but gulp it down. The miso stewed Omi beef offal stew was superb. The richness of the miso and various cuts of offal, without any unpleasant smell, paired perfectly with the beer! Delicious. The chewy honeycomb tripe was also tasty (*゚▽゚*), with a melt-in-your-mouth deliciousness. Continuing on, the fried tofu with soy sauce was fantastic. A large piece of fried tofu is quickly grilled over charcoal, giving it a nice charred aroma. Topped generously with Kujo green onions, it was delicious. Why is it so delicious? I'm impressed. And now, the seasonal spring bamboo shoot stew was tender, with a gentle dashi flavor that was just perfect. It must be all thanks to the meticulous preparation by the owner. Lastly, the oden with Hirozu and tofu was served with mustard and yuzu pepper. I tried the Hirozu with yuzu pepper. Delicious. The generous portions of ingredients made it satisfying to eat. The delicious dashi made even the tofu just the right firmness. The atmosphere, gentle stewing, and flavorful taste were all superb. Kyoto nights are truly delicious at this restaurant. ✿゚❀.(*´▽`*)❀.゚✿ The continuous reservation calls... It's a popular place, isn't it? Understandably so. Thank you for taking me to such a wonderful restaurant (˶ˊᵕˋ˵). It was a feast (*ᴗˬᴗ)

I made a reservation a few days ago by phone and visited at 8:00 p.m. on Sunday. The restaurant was almost always full. I was quite full and had eaten a lot for lunch, so I was hesitant about what to eat as the options overlapped, so I ended up ordering some drinks to go with. The food came out in about an hour, so I think it would be nice to be able to enjoy it slowly next time.

This was my nth visit... It's a popular restaurant where it's hard to get a table on Fridays and Saturdays even if you go without a reservation. The spring-like sea bream, oden, oysters, and the curry for the finale were all delicious. I ended up drinking too much, but it's the kind of happiness that makes you realize you're working hard every day. Thank you for the meal!

Visited at night. A stylish restaurant with counter seats lined up. It was the right decision to make a reservation and visit. There are various items on the menu, but ordered the famous oden. Overall, it was delicious with very gentle flavors. Here are three delicious items, although there are no photos: 1) The motsu stew had no distinctive smell of motsu. 2) The thin curry served at the end was extremely delicious. 3) The tempura of cod milt was fluffy inside, the milt was fresh, and it was incredibly delicious as it was freshly fried.

First of all, the simmered dish was delicious. The oden was also tasty, and the curry to finish was delicious too. Overall, there were no major complaints about the dishes served. Having eaten this much and enjoyed sake for two people for less than 8000 yen, the cost performance was good. Other than being a bit far from the station, I couldn't find any downsides. It might be tough to visit without a reservation, especially on weekends. The place was constantly filled with reserved customers. I will definitely go again.

We didn't have a reservation but luckily got in as there happened to be an opening. The restaurant was always full with customers coming and going, but we were seated promptly. It seems easier to get a table for two if you walk in without a reservation. The food was delicious and we were very satisfied with everything we tried. The dishes were also to our liking. The staff were friendly, quick to assist, and the atmosphere was pleasant. This restaurant has become a place we want to visit regularly.
