Thank you for always checking out my reviews! If you enjoyed it, please consider bookmarking the restaurant by clicking the "Save Shop" button. This restaurant is located in Kitakyushu, Fukuoka Prefecture, and you can only make reservations through Instagram. I had a friend make a reservation for me and we went together. The restaurant was very clean and the owner was very friendly, so we had a great time. The food was delicious as well. It's a unique fusion of Japanese cuisine and yakitori, using locally sourced chicken from Asakura, Fukuoka. Highly recommended! We had the following dishes:
- Chicken bone soup
- Aged bluefin tuna from Aoshima, Kitakyushu, marinated in bonito soy sauce
- Natural tiger pufferfish from Tsunoshima, Shimonoseki, cooked in low-temperature emulsified broth with rice
- Red sea bream from Iki, Nagasaki, with Lily bulb from Hokkaido
- Steamed shrimp with new onion and kelp dashi broth simmered for 8 hours
- Hand-rolled sushi with maguro from Amakusa, Kumamoto, and sea urchin from Kunnebetsu, Hokkaido
- Ankimo from Yamaguchi, marinated overnight in broth
- Grated radish with dried young sardines
- Chicken tenderloin with soy sauce and mountain wasabi
- Liver
- Gizzard
- Chicken meatball with truffle and quail egg
- Chicken wings
- Ginkgo nuts from Oita
- Quail with onion sauce from Awaji Island
- Miso soup with seaweed from Sanriku, chicken meatball, and miso from Hita, Fukuoka
- Herring from Osaka Bay
- Fresh eggs from Kaho District, Fukuoka
- Natural yam from Karatsu, Saga
- Pickles
- Homemade panna cotta
- 3 glasses of draft beer

It was even more amazing than I imagined! When I heard that reservations could only be made through Instagram at the opening, I thought the restaurant might be picky or too high-class, but my expectations were completely overturned. The head chef was extremely friendly, with a lovely smile, and the staff were serious and warm-hearted. From the first soup to the final dessert, everything was truly excellent. The way the staff handled a customer spilling their drink was also amazing, and I am truly grateful. There is a private table in the back for entertaining out-of-town guests, making it perfect for discreet meetings.

The omakase course costs 11,000 yen and includes chicken broth soup, sashimi of Shappon chicken, tuna and sea urchin roll, liver, neck, neck skin, tomatoes from Wakamatsu, vegetables with sauce, chicken wings with cartilage, kabosu and yuzu, simmered rice, tsukune, egg yolk, miso soup, pickles, milk pudding with blueberry sauce. The restaurant offers both authentic Japanese cuisine and delicious yakitori. The appetizer starts with a concentrated chicken broth soup, followed by red snapper and Shappon chicken sashimi. The sea urchin roll with plenty of sea urchin is a must-try. The yakitori is flavorful and juicy, especially the neck skin and chicken wings. The meal ends with delicious rice and dessert with a subtle sweetness.

It seems like it has been around since last year. It's a yakitori restaurant, but a slightly high-end one. I really like it. It's not shown in the photos, but yakitori is served during the course. Each skewer is carefully made, and you can feel the young chef's enthusiasm. We drank a lot of wine, but it also goes well with sake or shochu. It's also recommended for small business entertainments.

Today's introduction is about Mr. Narumi in Kokura. It is within walking distance from Kokura Station! Reservations seem to be limited to Instagram. The atmosphere at the restaurant is very nice. The menu mainly consists of Japanese cuisine and yakitori. I was recommended a variety of dishes by the chef, and the seafood that the chef carefully sourced was incredibly delicious. Every dish I tried was at an impressive level of deliciousness. The way the dishes were prepared showed a lot of thought and effort, and I could tell that the chef is truly dedicated to his craft. I think this restaurant is great for entertaining clients or going on a date. It's a place where you can make the person you go with very happy!

I had been interested in this restaurant for a while. People who had been there gave good reviews, saying that the yakitori and fish were delicious. I finally got to visit! I couldn't find the phone number, so I made a reservation through Instagram messenger, haha. The restaurant has a clean white noren curtain at the entrance, giving off a sense of cleanliness. Inside, it was lively and crowded! It was almost full at 7 pm. There was a small counter and one table for 8 people in the back. The customers seemed to be mostly young. Although it's a yakitori place, I initially thought of ordering yakitori first, but everything on the daily specials and regular menu looked delicious! I started with a draft beer and some appetizers. The appetizer came with a small bowl of chicken soup. Maybe it was to consider the stomach before drinking alcohol? Even though it was light, the chicken flavor was strong and tasty. I'll leave the yakitori for now (laughs). I decided to start with sashimi, so I ordered a box of sashimi. It came in a box like a treasure chest (laughs). The fish was delicious! Each piece was quite big. Oh, I'll have grilled fish later! I always order the chicken liver pate if it's available because I like it (laughs). It was delicious as usual. The potato salad with salmon roe on top was a nice palate cleanser. The yakitori was really delicious. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. It was cooked to perfection. They also had the popular chouchin (lantern) skewers that are seen often these days. For grilled fish, I went with the chef's recommendation of nodoguro (blackthroat seaperch). I wanted to go to a second place for drinks, so I skipped dessert. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

Opened on August 1, 2020, this yakitori restaurant in Kokura does not have a phone number, which made it difficult to make a reservation. However, while driving in the area, I happened to see the grand opening wreath and decided to visit. The interior of the restaurant is clean and stylish, with a counter and table seating available. The jazz music playing in the background creates a serene atmosphere. The menu features high-end items such as sea urchin, red sea bream, snow crab, grilled matsutake mushrooms, and steamed clay pot dishes, with prices ranging from 25 to 3,000 yen. I started with the raw horse mackerel sashimi, which was delicious. The octopus and seaweed vinegar appetizer was also enjoyable. The chicken soup was flavorful, and the sashimi was aged for a few days, resulting in a good taste. The Uni and meat topped seasoned egg was a tasty dish, and the salt-grilled skewers were well-seasoned. The unique feature of the restaurant was the different sizes of skewers depending on their placement on the grill. The marinated chicken hearts were a delicacy with a hint of ginger. Overall, the restaurant has a strong policy and is likely to attract many fans. The chef seemed familiar, but I couldn't place where I had seen him before. Many regular customers seemed to know him, creating a sense of camaraderie. However, there were some disappointing aspects that prevented me from giving a higher rating. As a newcomer without a personal connection to the chef, I couldn't delve deeper into the restaurant's background.

The ingredients were delicious! However, they were cooked well done so I, who likes rare, found it unsatisfying. Also, I felt it was a bit expensive. The first battleship sushi with shrimp and sea urchin? I really liked it! The liver on skewers was delicious!

This shop, where you can only make reservations on Instagram, has a friendly owner who is a young master. I always order wine, but since they only had domestic wine, I casually mentioned that I prefer non-domestic wine. The next time I visited, they remembered and said, "I put in some foreign wine for you!" and served me a French wine that I like. I always look forward to the daily recommended menu using seasonal ingredients. Even though it's a yakitori restaurant, I always order the daily recommended menu. The Uni-Toro roll is especially amazing. The rice dish at the end is also fantastic. I will definitely visit again.
