Today, I finished my outing and decided to visit Torikizoku for the first time in a while! It was around 7:00 pm and the place was almost full. It's been a few years since I last visited Torikizoku, and I noticed that the prices have gone up a bit. Well, considering the high cost of living, it's understandable. I ordered dishes like chicken, beef skewers, tsukune, karaage, and kamameshi. The biggest downside here is that they have very few salad options! I really wanted a regular salad... So I also ordered some cabbage. I didn't take pictures of the skewers and kamameshi because everyone does that, so I took photos of the dessert and the limited edition melon sour instead. Overall, if you're looking for a cheap izakaya, this is still a good option. Thank you for the meal!!!

I made a reservation through Yahoo Local for dinner. I ordered lemonade, a chicken burger with plenty of cheese, grilled chicken thigh with salt, and Y-shaped skewers in the style of Yanagawa. There used to be a lot of criticism about the drinks being too icy and the yakitori being too salty, but I think they have improved (although now it seems like there is not enough salt... and I don't taste the sweetness of the leeks). Is the hamburger made of chicken meat? Honestly... the Yanagawa dish was just okay... I paid 308 yen with PayPay using one shareholder benefit coupon for 1000 yen.

If you go north on Shinsaibashi-suji Shopping Street after crossing Nagahori-dori, you will find it on the 4th floor of a building on the left. I went there in the evening for a lunch plan that was originally scheduled for the night, as a member of the Oasis of the Heart or during the transfer season. They had made a net reservation for a drink-all-you-can-drink plan for about 1200 yen. Since we had some time to spare, we arrived early. They explained that the start time for the all-you-can-drink plan was strict and based on the reservation time, so we were seated and waited. Once all the members were there, we started! We could only order using a touch panel. I chose the nostalgic version of the white broth ramen, and the under-30 member went for something nostalgic too! They said they liked it! We finished off with the shrimp salt, which was delicious! The chicken skewers, despite only ordering one per person, turned out to be quite filling. We ate them by pulling the skewers out and grabbing them. Dipping the ingredients like green onions and salted kelp in salted chicken was a good idea. The Hokkaido potato salad was quite a favorite! Although I didn't feel the nostalgia, it was my first visit. I may feel nostalgic at places like Murasaki or Yoko Den, but my companions were under 30, in their forties, and fifties. We had a fun time, and I felt a bit lonely as the end of the fiscal year approached, unable to become a handsome guy with the gym girl from Oasis of the Heart. Thank you!

I went to Nara Park to meet June, who loves burnt food, but she was not there that day. As the last train was approaching, I started walking towards the station when I came across June's pet. Grass: Where did June go? Pet: My master always goes to the nearby Lawson to cool off and read in the hot summer days. Grass: Ah, I see! If only I had known earlier, I could have met her! I returned home feeling unsatisfied and ordered a highball at Toriki. I quickly finished it and ordered a Premium Malt beer, feeling proud of myself from start to finish. The beer was of high quality, and I enjoyed it. The third beer was served in a large glass, and the foam was excellent. I'm not a big fan of Toriki's fried chicken, but I was in the mood for it that day. The chijimi was a disappointment, but I managed to eat a piece. Overall, Toriki is a great chain restaurant. I have a not-so-helpful food blog called "草草の廃人日記" (Grass Grass's Diary).

I went out with a friend in Osaka. I was surprised by how big the dishes were compared to Tokyo sizes. However, they were not overwhelming, and had a nice crunchy texture that was delicious. Eating them with Japanese mustard added to the flavor. The edamame was also large in portion, but lacked a bit in sweetness and firmness. The yakitori (with sauce) had a volume of 1.5 times that of Tokyo, but the texture was not as chewy as expected. The sauce was mildly sweet, and adding shichimi or sansho pepper from the table made it just right. The tsukune was also larger in size, with a crunchy texture from crushed cartilage inside, a light taste, and a good balance of saltiness. The most surprising difference in size was the bonjiri/triangle. The fat's richness and texture that oozes out were also mild. The saltiness was similar to the tsukune, and it was quite good.

If you say you've never been to Torikizoku, you'll be called a rich person! Despite being a junior, I was taken there by my senior. The yakitori here is really big. I don't think it's incredibly delicious, but considering the price of the dishes, I think it's good value for money. The only downside is that they ran out of wet towels and gave us kitchen paper instead, and the staff spilled beer in a glass and the follow-up service was not good at all. If they change the store and improve the service, I think it's worth going there.

Recently, I found a great yakitori restaurant. The theme: Blog Probably, it seems like I might be caught. Yes, that's right. Recently, I've been really into Torikizoku. This day, I went to the Shinsaibashi branch, which is very close to my company, so I'll probably go again. Here, I've decided to just enjoy myself. The draft beer (left) is also 280 yen, but I'm really into the light large glass (right), which is also 280 yen. Of course, I'll have a refill of the cabbage. Vegetables have become quite expensive these days, but I'll definitely have a refill. The famous jumbo yakitori. Thigh meat with sauce version. How can they serve two such big skewers for 280 yen? But what's even more amazing is how delicious it is. Heart with tare sauce. This one is delicious too. The light large glass is too big for me to have two, so I'll go for hot sake. Lotus root stuffed with meat. The crunchy texture is amazing. Buttered corn is also served in this volume. The final touch, of course, is the Tori Kamameshi. As always, it's delicious. It takes time to prepare this, so it's wise to order it at the beginning. I'm satisfied. And today's bill is just a little over 3000 yen. Of course, us salarymen love this. I had a drinking party with six colleagues at work! As expected, Torikizoku is cheap! We ordered quite a lot! The taste was, of course, delicious and consistent (^-^). However, there was one disappointing thing (>_<). It was difficult to place an order! The waiter was a foreigner and had trouble understanding our order, causing a bit of chaos (>_<). I almost wanted to ask another staff member to help out. But, they tried their best with a smile, so it was okay (^-^). They are open late, which is convenient for those who miss the last train after work! I will definitely visit again (*^^*)

Located in a mixed building on Shinsaibashi-suji, this is the closest store to my company. I always start by ordering a plate of cabbage. Once you order, you can have free refills, so you can keep eating and feel like a vegetarian. Then I indulge in yakitori, starting with momo kizoku. I also recommend tori-hirayaki and tororo-yaki! For the finale, I always have tori zosui. If only they had a better selection of desserts, it would be perfect. This place is great for hanging out with friends - delicious, affordable, and fast. I just hope it's not too crowded when we go... The staff at all the branches are energetic and friendly, although they seem to have a bit of a young vibe.
