I used this place for a company drinking party. We chose the 4,500 yen all-you-can-drink course near Hakata Station, with a private room. It seemed to meet all our cost requirements, so we decided to try it out. The room was spacious and impressive (with cushions?), and the food was delicious (the sashimi was beautiful). It was perfect for a company drinking party. They were accommodating to children and even prepared a birthday plate. I heard it's a sister store of Umiyamatei. I would like to use it again in the future.

(2022.09.10) I find the "Aburi Seafood Bowl" and "Tempura and Sashimi Set Meal" served on weekdays at the newly opened "Niku Kappo Ryō" in July to be appealing, but with the name "Niku Kappo" attached, I am sure they have confidence in their meat dishes. Therefore, I visited the restaurant on Saturdays and holidays at lunchtime to try the "Meat Set Meal." The restaurant is located near Hakata Station Chikushi Exit, behind the Toho Hotel, in a diverse area. As there are few restaurants open during the day, the staircase leading up from the entrance of the mixed-use building is dimly lit. I felt anxious that I may have made a mistake in choosing the restaurant, but as I entered, I was relieved by the bright natural light shining on the greenery of the garden. I could see the atmosphere. All seats are private rooms, and while not luxurious, the seating is not only sunken kotatsu-style but also equipped with cushions over 100mm thick, allowing me to relax comfortably. The "Meat Set Meal" featuring Wagyu steak may have a modest meat portion, but the meat described as thigh meat turned out to be chuck flap, cooked to a tender medium-rare perfection with a delicate saltiness and a rich umami flavor. The "Bisque Tofu," a cold soup bisque set with gelatin, not only adds a touch of elegance but also complements the crisp lettuce salad, grilled sprouts, zucchini, and baby corn. The presentation of the pickles also hints at the deliciousness of the rice and miso soup, making the meal enjoyable from start to finish.

It's about a 3-4 minute walk from Hakata Station, Chikushi Exit. I found a lunch guide on the street lined with restaurants and decided to eat here on this hot day. The building is an old mixed-use building, but the restaurant is new and has a calm atmosphere with private rooms for dining, although taking off your shoes can be a hassle. I was seated in a private room even though I was dining alone, and it was cool with a sunken kotatsu-style table, making it comfortable. The grilled seafood bowl was served in about 7-8 minutes. The presentation was beautiful, from the small side dishes to the pickles, which really whetted my appetite. The seafood bowl had tuna, scallops, and squid that were seared, enhancing their sweetness and flavor. The rice was plentiful and glossy. The white fish nanban-zuke had a mild vinegar flavor and was seasoned just right. The chawanmushi had plum meat, giving it a refreshing taste. The miso soup had a barley miso flavor with finely diced tofu. The pickles were neatly presented, with three varieties in small diced pieces, making them easy to eat. As part of the grand opening celebration, a complimentary drink of iced coffee was offered, and they served oolong tea instead of water at the beginning, which was a nice touch. Every dish was carefully prepared and delicious. It's always great when the impression of a restaurant you randomly tried turns out to be positive. The ambiance was nice, and I enjoyed a leisurely lunch alone.
