You can enjoy the atmosphere of a Taiwanese-style food stall at Abura Neko. The menu is mainly Taiwanese cuisine, with most items priced at less than 500 yen. Very reasonable! Ordered menu items: - Cobukuro (pork neck) - 308 yen: Pork neck with a crunchy texture and a spicy sauce, perfect for pairing with alcohol. - Lu Rou Fan (braised pork rice) - 528 yen: The braised pork is melt-in-your-mouth tender, served with pickled mustard greens, half-cooked egg, and Taiwanese-style Asian spices. - Shiso Gyoza (shiso dumplings) - 308 yen: Dumplings filled with plenty of shiso and juicy meat. - Xiao Long Bao (soup dumplings) - 528 yen: Delicious meat filling, but a bit lacking in soup. - Hoppy Black set - 418 yen: It's great to find a place in Osaka where you can drink Hoppy. A convenient place that can be your first stop or your last stop for the night. Thank you for the meal!

I went to eat after drinking♪ I wasn't expecting much, but it was delicious (^∇^) It was my first time trying Taiwanese ramen, and it had a spiciness level I could handle, with thin noodles which I like. The fried rice was also Minmin-style and really delicious, just to my liking!!

I thought the new business venture by Okuman-san would not be good, but it seems like it didn't work out. It's a Taiwanese cuisine restaurant, but honestly, the dishes are not very Taiwanese. They are different from typical Taiwanese dishes, but still acceptable. The best thing about this place is that it's very cheap and offers great value for the price. The drinks are also very affordable, making it a good spot for Chinese-style drinking. The Lu Rou Fan (minced pork rice) was okay, but I probably won't order it again. The oyster and egg dumplings were great as a drinking snack. The dumplings seemed to be machine-made and frozen, but they were satisfying considering the value. If this place was nearby, I would definitely visit it occasionally.

Today, a customer recommended me to try "Jan Ramen" in Namba after moving from Umeda. The soy sauce flavor with a well-balanced blend of spices is quite delicious. The spiciness might be a bit tough for the average person, but it is incredibly tasty. They mentioned that they are not able to increase the spiciness without compromising the flavor. If you are nearby, please give it a try. Thank you for the meal.

I was invited by a regular customer who comes every Saturday at 7 pm to a place that seems to recreate the night atmosphere of Taipei (although I've never been there). Just the ambiance alone makes you feel like having a beer, and the food is delicious. The Taiwanese ramen is slightly spicy and pretty tasty, the stir-fried greens are crunchy and delicious, the pan-fried dumplings are just like the ones in a typical Chinese restaurant, the mapo tofu is deliciously spicy (but you might want some white rice), the stir-fried clams seem a bit salty, and there are plenty of quail eggs. We were able to eat a lot and drink a lot with four people, and the bill was only 8000 yen with change left over. It's incredibly cheap! It's a great place to enjoy with a group of friends, eat until you're full, and drink until you're full. I've realized that this place is perfect for that kind of atmosphere (though for just the food, a regular Chinese restaurant might be better). So, I'll definitely come back for drinks again after filling my belly.

Taiwanese ramen for 638 yen. Surprisingly spicy, but not to the point of choking. I regret not ordering a rice dish instead. The noodles were not well separated, which was a big negative. The portion was small, but I like the flavor. The service towards non-Japanese-speaking foreigners in the store was rude, which was unpleasant. It seems to attract a lot of tourists, so at least provide basic English support.

Visited Namba's "Yumao," a Taiwanese casual dining restaurant for the first time.
Braised pork on rice 528 yen
Stir-fried greens 638 yen
Xiaolongbao (soup dumplings) 528 yen
Stir-fried bean sprouts 418 yen
Bottled beer 473 yen
White wine 418 yen
For the reasonable prices, the taste was totally okay. Among the dishes I tried, the braised pork on rice and stir-fried greens (water spinach?) were especially delicious.
The only drawback was that the music was too loud. It was hard to hear conversations, so I wish they would lower the volume a bit.

The other day, after visiting Sumi-ya, I ended up at a second round with a friend (lol). In the end, we added some Taiwan-style chicken and Hoppy to our order. The spicy ramen was quite delicious and to my liking. When I got home, I thought about how going straight to bed would make me gain weight, so I watched The Walking Dead and Glory on Netflix for a long time before falling asleep (^◇^;) #Namba #LateNightOperation #TaiwaneseStyleBar #NambaRamen

I felt like eating Taiwanese ramen, so I decided on a drinking spot! It's open until late at night, and the mapo tofu and stir-fried vegetables here are loaded with garlic, making the alcohol go down smoothly. For the finale, I ordered a coriander salad and Taiwanese ramen, and topping it with coriander makes it even more delicious! Next time, I'll take pictures of everything. Thank you for the meal!

I haven't been to Taiwan yet, but I imagine a shop with this kind of interior. In a good way, it's cheap (laughs). I was drawn in by the night lights here too. The food was neither good nor bad. It seems to be affiliated with Okuman. I liked the "Numbing Sichuan Ramen," which had a refreshing scent of Sichuan pepper in the spiciness. It numbs quite a bit though...

I visited a restaurant after seeing a post by a certain Instagrammer. The interior design aimed at Instagrammable moments would appeal to young people. I went there to try the Taiwanese ramen featured in the Instagram post, but the noodles were not cooked properly, and the presentation did not live up to the delicious appearance portrayed. It was a bit disappointing.

After drinking at a seat, we visited this Taiwanese casual dining restaurant, Yumeneko, located along Yotsuhashi for the second round. The Mega Highball was large and cost-effective! We ordered quail boiled egg dumplings, shiso dumplings, and coriander. There are many menu options for Taiwanese cuisine or for this restaurant to be a good match for drinking. There are plenty of rice dishes as well, but there are many richly flavored dishes that are perfect for the second round, and even for a hearty meal at the first round! The interior of the restaurant is modern with neon lights on the mortar walls, which are too bright! Thank you for the meal!

It's Saturday evening. Today, I went to dinner with a close friend in Motomachi, located east of JR Namba. We decided to dine at a place called Abukat, which has a flashy neon sign that reminds me of nights in Taiwan. The menu was reasonably priced and looked fun, so we decided to eat there. The restaurant had a kitchen on the right side of the entrance and tables in the middle. We were seated in the center and started looking at the menu. They had a variety of dishes such as dumplings, fried rice, appetizers, Taiwanese-style fried chicken, rice dishes, noodles, and desserts. We started with a drink called Hoppy, a mix of shochu and black Hoppy. The appetizers we ordered were miso-coated peppers and spicy pickled vegetables. The dumplings were served next, followed by oyster and egg stir-fry, and chicken karaage. We also tried the shiso dumplings and finished the meal with a dish of minced pork rice and egg soup. The food was delicious, and we left the restaurant feeling satisfied. The staff, including the energetic young owner and two waitresses, were friendly and efficient. It was a great dining experience overall.

Namba "Taiwanese Popularity Dining Oil Cat" On this day, there was a drinking party at "Taiwanese Popularity Dining Oil Cat (Abu Cat)" near JR Namba. I don't usually go around JR Namba, but there are interesting shops there! Compared to the city center of Namba, it's a bit dark, so the neon lights stand out even more. Inside the restaurant, designed to resemble a Taiwanese popular dining place, you can enjoy a little overseas travel atmosphere. The spacious interior is perfect for a drinking party. Han's Gyoza, Shiso Yaki Gyoza each 308 yen. I quickly devoured the gyoza with plenty of garlic in Han's Gyoza and the shiso gyoza with no garlic but with the fragrance of shiso. I love gyoza with a strong garlic flavor, so I finished it in an instant. I don't care at all about the smell of my breath. Taiwanese-style Fried Chicken 100g for 418 yen. There was a larger size available, but I wanted to try different varieties, so I opted for 100 grams. The spicy aroma whets my appetite, and the meat juices make me salivate. It goes well with beer. Mapo Tofu 528 yen. I chose the least spicy option. It's still spicy, but it's addictive. Sweet and Sour Pork 638 yen. This is a sweet version of sweet and sour pork, a simple style. Taiwanese Fried Sweet Potato 418 yen. Spiced fried potatoes, no, fried sweet potatoes. Even though I'm not good with spicy food, I can't stop eating it. Ma La Pickled Vegetables and Quail Eggs each 308 yen. I'm still drinking, so I added more side dishes. The spicy pickled vegetables and the gentle quail eggs. Shumai 528 yen. A voluminous meaty shumai for carnivores. It has a fluffy finish. Surprisingly, this was the biggest hit. Stir-Fried Clams 638 yen. When you drink alcohol, you crave shellfish. It seems good for the liver. But in the end, I'm still drinking, so it's pointless. Tianjin Fried Rice 528 yen. More carbs for the finish. A gentle soy sauce-based Tianjin fried rice. Taiwanese Maze Soba 638 yen. A spicy maze soba! It's full of ingredients, so you can enjoy it twice by adding white rice at the end! I thought it was the end, but the drinking continues. Lu Rou Fan 582 yen. Lu Rou with plenty of pickles and a Japanese-style flavor. A pleasant taste at the end. Dou Hua 418 yen. Douhua pudding with plenty of mango! The black honey adds just the right amount of sweetness. Taiwanese Shaved Ice 418 yen. Still eating! Mango shaved ice with plenty of mango. It's refreshing in the mouth for the finish. I'm stuffed to the brim.

Taiwanese popular dining Yumao is a new business type of Okuman, a seafood izakaya. The menu includes Taiwanese street food and popular dishes such as Lu Rou Fan, fried chicken (choose from 100g or 200g), and Xiao Long Bao. Despite being known as a Taiwanese specialty, Xiao Long Bao is actually a Shanghai dish. The taste is true to Taiwanese flavors, with ingredients like star anise and coriander. The prices are reasonable, making it a casual dining option.

It's been a while since I had a draft beer. The staff at this place seemed happy to be able to serve alcohol to customers. The atmosphere and cuisine here give off a Taiwanese vibe, like a themed izakaya with an amusement park feel. The clam dish made me feel the Taiwanese atmosphere, although I haven't tried clams in Taiwan. The clams were big and flavorful, and the soup had a high-quality taste. The fried chicken had a Taiwanese night market cooking style, but the size was modest. The crispy coating paired well with beer. The coriander was a nice palate cleanser. Of course, you can't miss the soup dumplings when it comes to Taiwanese cuisine. The variety of dishes here is not often seen in Taiwan, where specialty food stalls are more common. The soup dumplings are eaten without ginger or vinegar, and you have to be careful not to burn yourself with the hot soup. The addictive stir-fried green peppers had a secret in the miso seasoning. Just simple cut green peppers dipped in miso tasted great with alcohol. The oyster balls reminded me of something I had in Taiwan, wrapping the delicious oysters in egg and sauce. The "Bye-Bye Sour" drink was similar to Hoppy, where you can order the inside and outside separately. This style is rare in Osaka, just like Hoppy. The stir-fried vegetables were made with water spinach and had a punchy seasoning, serving as a satisfying final dish. These themed izakayas are like a fun theme park experience.

I visited "Abu Cat" in Namba. The exterior and interior are designed in a Taiwanese style, giving you the feeling of being in Taiwan. I tried the Lu Rou Fan (minced pork rice) for 528 yen and the pan-fried dumplings for 308 yen. The Lu Rou Fan had pork, boiled egg, and pickled mustard greens as toppings. The pickled mustard greens were slightly salty, and the pork had a slightly sweet flavor. The pan-fried dumplings had a perfect brown color and a moist texture. They were served with a sauce that had a strong ginger flavor. Overall, the dishes were well-seasoned and delicious, especially the dumplings which paired well with alcohol or rice. Thank you for the meal.

I came to a Taiwanese restaurant along Yotsuhashi-suji called Abukat. The flashy neon sign gives off a vibe as if you were in a night market in Taiwan. It's almost full because the large bottle is cheap at 380 yen + tax and the drinks are affordable. The appetizers are also reasonably priced. I'm having hot sake with stir-fried greens. It's stir-fried hollow heart vegetable with a nice crunchy texture from garlic and chili. The boiled dumplings have a chewy skin and juicy filling. The sweet and sour pork is made with pork belly and has carrots, bell peppers, onions, green peppers, and pineapple. I like it when the vinegar flavor is strong. The Taiwanese ramen doesn't have chives but is made with green onions and minced meat. 1-2-10 Motomachi, Naniwa-ku, Osaka City.

The food was delicious but the serving time was a bit long. I had crab omelette, mixed noodles, boiled dumplings, xiaolongbao, and lu rou fan. The boiled dumplings and xiaolongbao were especially delicious! The exterior is cute with pink lights, making it stand out. The interior has a retro feel, and the background music playing oldies was interesting.

I came across a restaurant in the neighborhood called "Popular Taiwanese Restaurant Youmao Namba Minatomachi Store" by chance. The neon sign that looked like a typhoon restaurant in Tanimachi caught my attention, so I went in. The inside was just average. Despite the sparse number of customers, we were seated close to each other, which dampened my excitement. Well, I guess it's better to enjoy the atmosphere.
