I had the One-Muan Curry Chicken Steak at Ichimu-an in Osaka, Shinsaibashi. Located in Minamisenba, this was my first visit to this particular branch of Ichimu-an. Today, I tried their signature dish, the One-Muan Curry Chicken Steak. The curry wasn't too spicy but made me sweat gradually. The chicken steak on top was crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and had a great texture when paired with the curry. During lunchtime, you can choose between a free upgrade to a large portion, miso soup, or egg topping. The price was 1,200 yen (as of December 5, 2022). ☆Hitoyume-an☆✨✨✨✨ A 24-hour curry restaurant in Shinsaibashi! They also offer delivery service if you are nearby. I usually go for the curry or chicken thigh set meal, but this time I tried the ramen and tsukemen. The shoyu ramen had a perfect balance of flavors, and the noodles were from Kyoto's Teshio. The tsukemen had medium-thick noodles from Teshio as well! Both were delicious!

In Shinsaibashi, there is a curry restaurant that is open almost 24 hours a day, specializing in both momoyaki and curry. This time, I chose the chicken hamburger, while my companion went for the momoyaki curry. The hamburgers were big and had great value for money. The curry was consistently delicious.

Located about a 5-6 minute walk southwest from Exit 7 of Namba Subway Nagahoribashi Station, this restaurant has 8 counter seats. You purchase a meal ticket for the "Ichimu-an set meal" with triple the amount of meat and extra rice, and hand it to the staff. You can choose 3 out of 16 sauces (1 sauce per extra meat). This time, I chose salt and pepper, raw seven spice, and garlic ponzu. The set meal arrived shortly, consisting of original thigh meat grilled, shredded cabbage, grilled dashimaki tamago, cold tofu, miso soup (wakame seaweed, onion, thin fried tofu), rice, and pickles. With triple the meat, it is served on 2 plates. The thigh meat is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, already seasoned with salt and pepper. You can dip it in the raw seven spice and garlic ponzu for enhanced flavor. Enjoying the meat as is lets you savor the natural taste, while combining it with the sauces makes the meal even more delightful. The cabbage, dashimaki, and miso soup serve as nice palate cleansers in between bites of the meat. I indulged in the hearty set meal with triple the meat. Next time, I'd like to try the Ichimu-an curry. Thank you for the meal.

I had the Chicken Steak Curry (1000 yen) at this curry and chicken restaurant. Although it's a bit pricey for a stand curry, you can taste the various spices and the long simmering time that went into making this authentic Western-style curry. It's rich and delicious! The chicken seemed to be specifically for curry as it wasn't seasoned, but it tasted great when dipped in the curry. However, it might be even tastier if the chicken was marinated with a little salt, pepper, or spices. They also offer curry udon and mixed udon, which I'm curious to try. Since they are open 24 hours and seem to focus on takeout, it could be a convenient spot for those in the food and beverage industry.

When wandering around Shinsaibashi, I saw the words "Ichi Musoan." Could it be the old yakitori restaurant that I used to frequent? And they're serving the chicken thigh set meal that I used to eat every day! I can't believe it... To be able to eat that beloved chicken again... I used to eat it with stamina sauce over and over again. The cabbage soaked in sauce... the tender chicken meat... everything is so nostalgic. To be able to eat it again? It's amazing. But it's not easy to find the opportunity to have a set meal in Minami. Hmm... I'll come someday. I've been thinking about it and finally made it! Yes! I can eat that taste again! Of course, I ordered it with stamina sauce. I waited nervously for a few minutes. Huh... the cabbage isn't as fresh as I remembered... Well, it's still good with this sauce. Huh... it's a bit tough... Well, they're open 24 hours, so speed is probably a priority. But because my expectations were at 120%, I was a little disappointed. They also do delivery and are open 24 hours, so I'll probably order again. Maybe the memory was just idealized...
