I often go to Torikizoku in Yotsubashi. If you go at 8:00 PM, there is a wait for two groups. The atmosphere is close to pre-COVID times! Amazing^^ Drinking and eating costs around 5000 yen. And the taste is worth it. It's as wonderful as the pancakes at Royal Host. Thank you for the delicious meal.

Anyway, I was surprised that I was able to eat and drink a variety of items for only 3000 yen per person. There are more "bars" popping up nearby. However, they are just bars. They are not like the bars in Spain, they are just normal wine bars, right? In Spain, the bars are standing bars, and the goal is to hop from one bar to another. But here, there's no need to hop around because all the bars are quite similar. So, even if you hop around, it's not very exciting. Despite being a chain restaurant, we chose this place. There are stylish places in Yotsubashi too, but this place had a line when we left. And that's because it's cheap. You can get free refills of cabbage. It's properly seasoned. I wonder if they can still manage with the rising vegetable prices? The main dish was grilled chicken skewers. They serve it as 2 skewers per person. You can't order a specific number of skewers. What if 3 people each want one skewer? I've always thought that skewers should be ordered by the piece. (Later I found out that due to cost considerations, it's not feasible with this restaurant's pricing system, and I realized that they actually grill the skewers themselves during the day. Not using machines or frozen products. And yet, the price is still low. I have no complaints.) However, the grilling is excellent. When judging the deliciousness of grilled chicken, order the liver. If the liver is moist and tasty, then the restaurant is good. This restaurant fits that description. It's just a shame that they don't have grilled green onions. Also, they only have large-sized one-cup sake and not much variety in wine. There are no non-sweet shochu highballs. For those who are fine with just beer, this place is good. I guess they are trying to keep the prices low in this regard. The menu is limited. It's quite affordable, so there are many young people, couples, and groups of women. It's a shame that we don't have this in my hometown.

Torikizoku can be found anywhere. It's cheap, delicious, and fast. When I don't know where to eat at night, I often go there. ZIMA is only 280 yen, so it's quite a good deal. I always order the grilled chicken skin, and it's always delicious! When I entered, there were plenty of seats available, but by the time I left, it was almost full. Eating to our hearts' content with two people costs around 2500 yen, so it's a really convenient restaurant. I tried the steamed egg custard for the first time, and it was quite light and I really liked it. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal!

☆☆☆☆☆☆☆Second Stop☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ After leaving the Italian restaurant with terrible service in Kitahama, I felt like having a cheap and delicious draft beer, although not as spicy as Harapeko Lini, so I decided to go to Torikizoku. I found a branch on my way back that I had never been to before. I arrived a little after 10 PM and luckily there was a table available as some customers were leaving. Torikizoku is always popular, isn't it? "Can I have a draft beer, please?" "Sure!" The server brought the beer with a smile. What a difference from the robotic service at the previous place! Cheers! *gulp gulp gulp* Huh? The beer doesn't taste as good as I expected. Maybe it's because I'm not feeling well. Well, let's order some food. I'll have the chicken breast with Torikizoku sauce and the chicken thigh with salt, please. Harapan's Haniko didn't touch the grilled chicken at all. Haniko: "I'm so full." Tomo: "Give me the tomatoes." Grass: "You can eat tomatoes at home!" For the second drink, I decided to go with a light beer since the previous one didn't taste great. I opted for a happoshu, which was enough for me. The bill came out to be only 1800 yen. So cheap! I have a blog that might not be very helpful for gourmet information (laughs). On this day, after drinking a lot at another place, we went to Torikizoku for our second round. I love Torikizoku because it's cheap and delicious, so I visit different locations. Even though I was already full from the first place, I still ordered some fried chicken, beer, and hot wine here. The prices are reasonable here as well. However, the staff here seemed a bit lackluster compared to other Torikizoku branches, which was disappointing.

Theme: Blog I've been here occasionally, but before going to the wine bar in Shinsaibashi, I stopped by for the first time in a while. This place opened around before summer. It's on the southwest side of the Yotsubashi intersection, with Sukiya on the 1st floor. Started with cabbage. All-you-can-eat. There were new menu items. Since the butter corn was gone, I ordered something similar. I've never ordered the beef skewers before, and honestly, they were just okay. I ordered the classic jumbo grilled chicken thigh skewers with sauce. These are always delicious. The one wrapped in chicken skin and minced meat was also pretty good. The potato fries are quite a large portion, so it's a good deal. A must-have at Torikizoku is the chicken rice in a pot. It takes some time, so I always order it at the first order. When you open the lid, it's beautifully cooked. At 280 yen, it's still cheap. We had two cups each, and the bill was a little over 3000 yen. It's perfect for a quick visit. I had been curious about this chain restaurant ever since I saw it featured on a TV show, and finally got the chance to visit. The menu caught my attention with all items priced at 294 yen including tax. Not just yakitori, but also appetizers and drinks, all for 294 yen each. I wondered what the average customer spending would be. It was my first visit, and my companion's first time too. We decided to keep it light for tonight, ordering 2-3 items each. The prices were similar to a "happy hour" set. The Asahi Super Dry draft beer (medium) for 294 yen was cheap! The glass wasn't large, but it was good for a toast. The Yamazaki highball for 294 yen was also a good deal. The ice was a bit too much, though. Now, onto the yakitori. I heard that yakitori from Osaka tends to be on the smaller side, so the jumbo yakitori here was considered rare in Osaka. I ordered chicken thigh and tsukune. Each plate had 2 skewers. They were indeed large and delicious! The rumors about this place being good seemed true. The chicken skewer cutlet was decent, but the liver was not to my liking. The triangle (bonjiri) was disappointing. The oiliness and smell of the chicken spread in my mouth with one bite. It was small and tough. Too bad. Maybe 294 yen has its limits. But thinking about it, one yakitori skewer was 150 yen. Not that cheap. Well, they were big though. The atmosphere inside was very lively, or rather, noisy. It seemed like there were more young people. The target audience is in their 20s? Maybe it's the restaurant's design, but the voices echoed, making it hard to understand others' conversations for a middle-aged person like me. Conversations were a bit tiring. It was tough for an older guy like me. However, the noise in this restaurant was extraordinary. Noisy restaurants are often caused by loud salarymen, but there weren't many older men here. Wait, the loud voices...turned out to be the staff shouting orders and such! It's good to have enthusiasm, but there should be a limit. And the restaurant's layout...it was a bit tough for an older guy who just wants to enjoy yakitori slowly.

I went to Torikizoku that opened near my company. They were having a grand opening sale, with all items at half price!!! It was really crowded. The staff were so energetic! I ordered a large glass of draft beer for only 280 yen! It was huge! I also ordered the classic grilled chicken and rice cooked in a pot. The taste was the same as always, consistent and reliable. Torikizoku is like the McDonald's of chicken, offering great value for the price.

I was invited by an acquaintance to a ski club retreat, but it was more like just staying at their villa in a resort area in Nagano, relaxing and doing some sightseeing in Gifu before returning to Osaka. When we got back to the city center around 7:00 PM, we thought about having a casual party, but many places in the Yotsubashi area were closed on Sundays. So, we decided to go to this restaurant along Nagahori Street. We went up the stairs to the second floor, and even though it was past 7:00 PM, there were still plenty of seats available. I had not been to this chain restaurant since the one in Shinjuku Kabukicho a few years ago. It was always crowded there, with reasonable prices and decent food. Looking at the menu, the prices were indeed affordable. However, after getting used to Osaka prices recently, the feeling in Tokyo was a bit different. We ordered some draft beer and cheers. Since we were adults, we ordered a modest amount of appetizers, like grilled dishes and a few side dishes for the three of us. We chatted about our trip memories while enjoying some drinks. The food was not outstanding but not bad either, just decent quality. It was a satisfying experience, not too special, but better than taking a chance at a random small restaurant. We promised to meet again, knowing it would most likely be the next day.

It's cheap so I go there with my friends occasionally. This time, four of us from work went. As the name suggests, the yakitori is big. It's quite filling. The prices start at 280 yen, so it's very wallet-friendly. But we always end up eating and drinking a lot because it's so cheap, and end up spending the same amount as usual. I think if we just ate and drank normally, it would be cheaper. The taste is decent as it's a chain restaurant. I always order the fried chicken and green onion with sauce. I would like to go again. Thank you for the meal.

The first year-end party of the year is already here. I wonder how many more we will have until the end of the year... In times like this, Torikizoku is a lifesaver. After all, everything is 280 yen. The taste is decent enough. However, be careful not to drink too much. My favorite dishes are the Momo Kizoku Yaki and Ponjiri (triangular) skewers. The Momo Kizoku Yaki is very juicy, which I love. On the other hand, the Ponjiri skewers have a greasy texture that actually makes you thirstier, making the beer taste even better. After getting pleasantly drunk, the first round of the year-end party is over. Naturally, we thought about moving on to the second round, but lately everyone's wallets are tight, so we decided to end it here. I have a feeling I'll be back a few more times before the end of the year.
