It is located on the basement floor of a small street in Shibuya. The shop is very small and can only accommodate about 3 groups. The sashimi was delicious without any fishy smell, but both drinks and dishes took a long time to come out after ordering. There were also times when orders were forgotten. Honestly, I won't be going back.

Opposite the building where Fish Shin Shibuya is located, on the basement floor. It's a bit tricky to find, located in a small alley in front of the Tokyu Department Store. The Google Map image showing Hegisoba is incorrect. The underground shop has poor reception, so it may not be suitable for meeting up. The place is run by a male and a female staff member. There are both counter and table seating available. I searched for a place that accepts Hachipay and made a same-day reservation on Tabelog. I used a coupon for a free first drink and ordered mostly recommended items not listed on the menu. We had 5 dishes and a bottle of shochu, costing a little over 10,000 yen for two people. Some customers seem to have their own reserved bottles. It seems like they have been in business for a while, and the owner is from Kushiro. They post recommended information on Facebook and Instagram. They explain recommended dishes that are not on the menu or those with unfamiliar names. There is a TV broadcasting terrestrial channels. It has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. I would like to visit again. Although there is no reception, they support cashless payments.

I had a bit of trouble finding the restaurant at first, and making a reservation was also a bit of a hassle, but once I stepped inside, I was pleased. The atmosphere was mostly filled with businessmen and people in their 30s and 40s. The menu apparently changes daily, and the staff kindly explained everything to us when my friend arrived. I was quite intrigued by the squid menchi-katsu, so I ordered it, and it did not disappoint. It had a unique and nostalgic taste that was different from both sweet potato tempura and regular menchi-katsu. It was delicious. We also ordered the octopus zangi, which had a crispy coating and a flavorful taste, different from regular octopus tempura. It was undeniably delicious. There were still more dishes I wanted to try, so I've decided to visit again. We had to leave quickly due to our next appointment, so I apologize for that.

Category: [Tokyo] Donburi ☆ Shibuya Lunch I have never been to this place, but I always imagined it to be a Hokkaido cuisine izakaya based on the name. Izakaya 946ya. The name suggests a connection to Kushiro. Photos of ikura donburi, hokke, and the word "haskap". It seems to be a shop that favors not only Kushiro but also Hokkaido. I didn't expect them to start serving lunch here. Due to the impact of the coronavirus, there are surprisingly many restaurants in the Shibuya area that have started serving lunch. With the complete protection of glass shields and alcohol disinfection upon entry, this is the current scene in Japan. I wonder how we will look back on this scene in a few years when we see the photos. Pork bowl and hayashi set - 1100 yen. Making ordinary things properly and straightforwardly, like in a café. A world without any surprises, without trying to shock or make mistakes. The feeling of being able to eat this every day is comforting and appreciated. I can imagine that it will be a difficult time for small izakaya like this in the future, but surprisingly, Shibuya is sustained by such restaurants, so I hope they continue to do their best.

946 = Kushiro = Kushiro is correct. The owner is from Kushiro city, and I am too, so I occasionally visit this restaurant. Today, I had a reunion with my high school classmates from Kushiro for a real drink after a long time. Despite the pandemic, this restaurant has clear vinyl dividers everywhere for thorough precautions. The interior of the shop was featured on TV twice (to my knowledge). When it comes to Kushiro, seafood is a must. The sashimi platter is always satisfying. And when it comes to Hokkaido, you can't miss the Genghis Khan (grilled lamb). Of course, grilling lamb on a stove in an izakaya is not possible, so the Genghis Khan is cooked in the kitchen and served on a plate, but it's delicious! They definitely source good quality lamb. I noticed something after visiting a few times. Surprisingly, there are many female customers, and for some reason, there are many dancers and art-related people, which was a mystery to me, but it turns out the owner's wife is a dancer! Even for those unrelated to Kushiro, this is undoubtedly a delicious restaurant.

Dinner on March 29, 2019 (Friday) with my partner. We decided to eat in Shibuya and on the way back, we searched for "Shibuya" and "Hokkaido cuisine", which led us to this restaurant. I searched for this because I wanted to discuss a trip to Hokkaido. It is located in the basement of a building on the corner of Tokyu and Enzancho in Shibuya. We arrived at 7:00 PM and were the first customers. We were seated at the end of the counter and ordered a draft beer (500 yen), grilled young chicken (680 yen), a large hokke fish (2480 yen) from Rausu, squid sashimi (580 yen), and the recommended large oyster fry (900 yen). The squid sashimi was average, the oyster fry was okay, the grilled young chicken was juicy and delicious with a good ginger flavor. However, the large hokke fish was not particularly large and a bit dry for the price. I got carried away with eating and we didn't end up discussing our Hokkaido trip. I had 3 refills of beer, while my partner had 1 grapefruit sour (480 yen), and the total bill came to 9090 yen, which was a bit expensive. I remember seeing locals fishing hokke fish in abundance on Okushiri Island during my previous visit, so I believe it's a fish that can be eaten affordably if you go to the right place.

Atmosphere: Hidden gem izakaya with good value for money. Perfect for two people to have a moderate amount of drinks and food for 3-4000 yen. We were able to stay longer as the taste and quality were great. The daily changing dishes make you want to come back again and again. No matter what dish you order, it's delicious.

I'm not sure how long it has been there, but I decided to go in. The interior of the restaurant was dimly lit with a small counter and three table seats. I asked the owner, who is from Kushiro City, Hokkaido, for a recommendation and tried it. The assorted sashimi had about 5-6 types and was quite voluminous. I ordered something called "gotappe" for the first time, and it turned out to be three large grilled fish, about the size of river fish. Although they looked ordinary, I was pleasantly surprised when I tried them - they were delicious with sweetness, umami, firmness, and it had been a long time since I had enjoyed grilled fish so much. I look forward to visiting this place regularly.

I've never heard of any shops in Okinawa serving it this way, but the taste is delicious! It's refreshing, easy to drink, and somewhat dangerous. Heavenstamp live was amazing~ So now I'm relaxing by myself at the cozy izakaya, Kuroyonoya. The encore performance of "Morning Glow" was fantastic. I'm savoring the afterglow while eating delicious roasted chicken. I tried to cut it myself, but it was too hot, so I asked the staff to do it. It's definitely easier to leave it to the professionals. The bones are crispy and flavorful, making it easy to eat. Even though it's an izakaya, the atmosphere is nice and cozy, not too overwhelming. The underground 1st floor location adds to the hidden gem vibe. The AU cell phone reception was weak, but it doesn't matter since it's a hidden gem and we don't need cell service here!

Hello everyone! This time I would like to introduce the izakaya restaurant Kuroshiroya. We tried the potato salad, tamagoyaki, nikujaga, satsuma-age, tender tonkatsu, and coconut vanilla. They were all incredibly delicious, especially the tamagoyaki. Have you been to this restaurant before? If not, I highly recommend trying it out!

I went to this restaurant based on a friend's recommendation. At the entrance, there was a large photo of a woman with her mouth wide open, which caught my attention and made me wonder what it was all about. When I was introduced to the place, I thought, "Oh, this is it!" It may be a bit hard for first-time visitors to find the entrance. Once inside, it feels like a cozy izakaya (Japanese pub). When I visited, there was only one staff member. The menu is interesting and full of menu items with funny names that make you curious and want to try them. The food is delicious! They seem to be open until morning, so I would definitely recommend this place over cheap places. The prices are reasonable, and you can enjoy snacks and drinks for less than 3000 yen. Yummy!

This is a hidden dining bar located near Don Quijote in Shibuya. Inside, the master runs the small shop with about 15 seats, including a counter and table seating. It's a place that can be used as an izakaya, a bar, or a restaurant, making it perfect for various occasions. As the name "Ku Yon Roku Ya To" suggests, it serves Hokkaido cuisine with dishes not commonly found in Tokyo. But the must-try dish is definitely the garlic edamame! Just order that and you won't be disappointed.
