牛丼仮面
When I came here before, I had the impression that it was quite reasonable, so I visited with 4 drinking buddies from the local area. It was a little after 7 pm on the weekend, and the place was about 70% full. Since it's the end of the month, I thought it might be crowded, so I'm glad we got a table! We started with a toast with draft beer. We ordered randomly from the menu. First, we were served with raw cabbage and cucumber as an appetizer. The miso they served with it was delicious! It went well with everything. The chicken tataki, chicken skin with ponzu sauce, and grilled black pork were the first dishes to arrive, and they were all above average in taste. Next, one of our group who loves tartar sauce was attracted by the menu photo and ordered chicken nanban, but was disappointed by the lackluster tartar sauce. So, she ordered another chicken nanban with extra tartar sauce! Then, we continued to enjoy our beer and food. We ordered yellowtail tartare, deep-fried bamboo shoot, marinated sand lance, wing gyoza, and rolled omelette. The yellowtail tartare was new to me, but it was quite good! The sand lance was also a perfect match for the alcohol. The bamboo shoot was a bit too hard, but still tasty. The wing gyoza was nothing special. The rolled omelette was too sweet for my liking. We ordered a few more dishes, but I forgot to take photos and don't remember much due to being drunk. Before we knew it, it was closing time. When we got the bill... 34,000 yen?! I was shocked at first, but then I realized we had been drinking and eating for over 6 hours! We had 25 beers just among the 4 of us! I alone had 13 beers! We also finished 3 bottles of peach sake and had quite a few shochu highballs. Well, it's a reasonable price considering all that drinking and eating. As I write this review, I am almost in a state of being wasted. I think I'll quit drinking now. Thank you for the meal!
