Bird Land is already a classic. I went to the store in Sakai. As expected, I love the warmth of the wood in the entrance and interior of Bird Land! Tonight, I'm determined to eat a lot! I ordered a lot of salt-grilled chicken skewers. Of course, beer too. The three factors of delicious, fast, and cheap are still there, and each order arrived in 3-5 minutes. This time, I also tried the limited-time Nagoya Cochin chicken skewers, which were delicious with a fresh and moderate amount of fat! For dessert, I had the usual chicken white broth noodles. It was just as good as always!! As a Bird Land fan, I want to explore various stores in different regions in the future.

I visit Toriki about once a month, and this time I went to the Torikizoku Sakai Shukuin store. They have implemented measures against the new coronavirus, with alcohol placed at the entrance and individual seats separated by hanging sheets for splash prevention. This setup made me feel safe and comfortable while dining. I was able to enjoy my favorite "kawatare" again this month! It goes so well with beer! Even the time waiting for the grilled chicken to arrive is enjoyable. I always order the tsukune cheese grill as well! For dessert, I had the "chicken salted egg ramen." The soup has a rich flavor despite being salty, and it is very easy to eat. The noodles are medium-thick and curly, providing a good texture. The soft-boiled egg with black pepper was a delicious accent. As the season changes, warm dishes like this ramen are the best way to end a meal! Thank you as always! It was a feast!

"Tori-Kizoku" is a restaurant that became famous overnight due to the "alchemy" issue with Go To Eat. I was invited by a friend who had never been to "Tori-Kizoku" before and wanted to debut there. We ended up going without a reservation, so we didn't get any points, but the items we ordered were all priced at a flat rate of ¥327 including tax. We had beef skewers, pork belly skewers with salt, chicken skin chips, skin sauce, salted cucumber, triangles, mouth-watering chicken, cabbage plate, grilled yam, premium malt beer, ginger highball, and yuzu honey chu-hi. We also got some takeout items - chicken skin chips and Toriki's fried chicken for ¥321 including tax. The chicken skin chips were so delicious that we couldn't resist getting some to go. The tables were separated by vinyl sheets for COVID-19 prevention, and the prices were very reasonable, which made my friend very happy. She's already saying she wants to go again. We enjoyed our meal. Thank you very much!"

I visited "Torikizoku Sakai Inn Store" in Sakai-ku, Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture for dinner and drinks for the first time. It is a well-known chain of yakitori restaurants. This was my first visit to this inn store. It is located a 2-minute walk from Hankai Tramway (Chin Chin Densha) "Ogoshodani" Station and a 10-minute walk from Nankai Main Line "Sakai" Station. I arrived with 3 colleagues around 7 pm on a weekday. Despite it being a weekday, the restaurant was quite busy. After enjoying some drinks and yakitori, we decided to order the "Rich Seafood Pork Bone Ramen" that we found on the menu. The ramen had a rich seafood pork bone broth with medium-thin curly noodles, topped with a small amount of chicken and green onions. The ramen did not have a visually appealing presentation, especially in the dim lighting of the restaurant. In terms of taste, it resembled instant ramen with fresh noodles. It was not something that ramen enthusiasts would be excited about. However, if you are not too picky, it is an okay option for a late-night ramen fix. The service and atmosphere of the restaurant were typical of a standard Torikizoku branch. It was a small farewell gathering organized by my team members before my transfer to another office next week. I had a great time and I am grateful for the thoughtful gesture.

My first visit to Torikizoku. I had been wanting to go there at least once before the prices went up, so I finally made it. Being a major chain, I felt safe trying it for the first time as the taste and service are consistent. I was able to relax and enjoy my meal from start to finish. I chose this location out of many Torikizoku branches. When I opened the door, I found the place to be spacious and comfortable, with a nice atmosphere. I don't drink much, but at izakaya like this, I always order my favorite Cassis Orange. When I looked at the receipt after returning home, I was surprised to see that the drink was only 302 yen. I had expected drinks to be more expensive, so I was impressed by the consistent 280 yen pricing (excluding tax). Next, I ordered the Hormone Negi Mori Ponzu for 302 yen from the Speed Menu. The ponzu sauce was not too sour, and the meat was crunchy and delicious. The Cassis Orange had a strong cassis flavor, which made me happy. I continued to order items like Mitate (thigh meat), Tebasaki (chicken wings), Kawatare (skin), and Torikama Meshi (chicken rice) for 302 yen each. The Torikama Meshi takes about 30 minutes to prepare. I particularly enjoyed the Mitate and Kawatare. The Mitate sauce was sweet and savory, and the meat was tender. Similarly, the Kawatare had a well-infused flavor and was also tender. I was tempted to order another plate of each. The Torikama Meshi came with a generous amount of chicken and had a nicely seasoned soy sauce flavor. I also enjoyed the other yakitori dishes. Finally feeling satisfied after finally being able to eat, I left the restaurant with a full stomach.

Since the Lehman shock, the average customer spending in the izakaya world has been decreasing, leading to the rise of budget-friendly options like 300 yen flat-rate shops. Even in yakitori restaurants, cheaper chain stores like Jidori Tei and Torikizoku have been increasing. Despite my curiosity, as a lover of cheap things, I never visited such places for some reason. However, I decided to finally check out Torikizoku. All drinks are priced at a flat rate of 280 yen. I opted for a Harper Highball, thinking it was a good deal. But then I realized the glass was small, so I should have gone for the larger Tris Highball instead. The menu items are all priced at 280 yen (including tax). I ordered items like octopus with wasabi, chicken thigh skewers, and renkon stuffed with meat. The portion sizes were decent, and the flavors were satisfactory. Overall, the food was worth the price.
