If the timing is right, there are many new sake bars to explore. On this day, I couldn't order anything other than Unicorn by the glass, so I settled for Tokubetsu Junmai and Junmai Ginjo. It was a comfortable place to leisurely drink and eat, with a friendly staff member who taught me a lot about Japanese sake.

Located in an area filled with various eateries between Dogenzaka and Route 246, this restaurant specializes in yakitori and chicken dishes. The large lantern hanging outside the building on the 1st floor serves as a landmark. Descend the steep stairs to the underground restaurant, which exudes a nostalgic and calming atmosphere. The place is bustling with a diverse crowd, from young people to office workers. The menu features a variety of yakitori, chicken dishes, and typical izakaya fare, along with daily specials. The drink menu includes beer, sours, shochu, whiskey, sake, fruit liqueurs, wine, and soft drinks. The restaurant charges a fee for appetizers and offers a range of dishes, such as grilled chicken liver, crispy gizzards, succulent chicken thighs, and more. The skewers are generously portioned and cooked to perfection, showcasing the unique flavors and textures of each chicken part. The appetizers are delicious and beautifully presented, with a good balance of flavors. This hidden gem in Shibuya offers a casual dining experience, perfect for enjoying with friends or close companions.

I ate at a great izakaya where everything is delicious, and it seems they have started serving ginger hot pot. It was incredibly delicious. I didn't really feel the spiciness of the ginger, but I could definitely taste the richness of the Shoukaho River. It was a really good hot pot that I would love to eat again.

Located just a few minutes' walk from Shibuya Station, "Toriburan" is probably a love hotel with a mysterious underground location. It's best to think twice before visiting with a fresh new couple. As for us, it was our second stop, so we kept it simple. We started with the appetizer (300 yen), which was honestly not very tasty. We ordered a lemon sour (600 yen) for drinks, which was consistently delicious - you can't really go wrong with lemon sours. Next up was the stuffed bell peppers with meat (680 yen) - what is this? It arrived with bell peppers stuffed with meatballs, and the subtle bitterness of the bell peppers was a bit overwhelming. It would have been better if they were cooked together in a more harmonious way. On the other hand, the grated radish with natto (550 yen) was delicious. The refreshing flavor of the grated radish combined with the texture and saltiness of the natto was delightful. We also had a few other dishes, and the total bill came to 10,410 yen. Hmm... I don't think we'll be coming back. Thank you for the meal.

I went into a yakitori restaurant near Shibuya without really knowing what to expect, but everything I tried was delicious and incredibly affordable. It's probably the best place in Shibuya for tasty food at such low prices. There doesn't seem to be any other place in Shibuya that offers such a variety of dishes at such great value. The unlimited shungiku (chrysanthemum greens) in particular seems like you could eat it forever. I'll definitely be coming back to this place often.

Hidden gem spot on Dogenzaka that's a bit hard to find at first. Highly recommend the White Liver (650 yen) and the Spicy Drooling Chicken (830 yen). The owner is from Hiroshima, a famous lemon-producing region, so the drink menu is full of lemon options. - White Liver: They serve both parent and child liver, and it's as creamy and delicious as the name suggests. Great for snacking. - Spicy Drooling Chicken: I'm not great with spicy food, so the numbing spiciness kicks in later (from the aromatic spices). Goes well with a highball. - Omelette Rice: Fluffy egg with chunks of chicken inside, satisfying and tasty. Thanks for the meal. I'll definitely be back.

I met up with my high school friends in Shibuya after a long time, and we found a nice yakitori restaurant near the station. The yakitori was very juicy and delicious, and they also had a variety of side dishes like mapo tofu, so we were able to eat to our heart's content! The staff and atmosphere of the restaurant were great, and they had various measures in place for COVID-19, so we felt safe. I would love to go back again once the situation with the pandemic improves! :)

I was exploring an area I don't usually visit with my friends in Shibuya and stumbled upon a restaurant called "Toriburan". It's located behind Mark City and is underground, so just finding it felt like a miracle haha. The food was delicious, especially the melt-in-your-mouth liver dish. I highly recommend trying it! They also have a variety of unique drinks, so I think it's a place worth visiting again in the future.

I had a very delicious meal at "Toriburan" but it seems like it's not easy to find. It's located in a hidden place behind Mark City, even further back. It's underground and not a place where people walking around Shibuya would normally go. The food was really tasty, so I recommend checking it out even if you have to do some research to find it. I can't forget the tender texture of the chicken liver and the intense spiciness of the mapo tofu. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also very cozy and recommended!

We visited "Toriburan" that we found while walking around the back of Mark City with a friend. It may be a bit hard to notice the entrance downstairs, but once you enter, you can enjoy delicious chicken dishes. All the chicken menu items are basically delicious. The seasoning ranges from simple to extremely spicy. The drink menu also has many unique options. The underground hideaway atmosphere makes it a popular spot for regular customers.

I visited the cozy and homey atmosphere of the hidden gem restaurant "Toriburan". The melt-in-your-mouth liver was absolutely delicious, and it's true that a place with tasty liver always has other delicious meats too! As the name suggests, be sure to order lots of chicken dishes because they are all so tasty. The menu is diverse and there are plenty of other options to choose from as well. Highly recommended!

I was curious about a shop with a big lantern hanging outside, so I decided to check it out. It's located around the back of Fukurasu. There are some hardcore drinking spots in the area with a big sign. I expected the chicken to be delicious. Inside, there is a counter, tables, and a small second floor for only two people. They offer a variety of drinks, including trendy sours. The chicken liver was delicious. The highly recommended dish is the mapo tofu - it's the real deal and spicy! Overall, I felt the food was a bit salty, but it's a tasty place. I will be heading to the next shop soon.

I discovered a wonderful izakaya called "Tori Buran" around the back of Mark City. The staircase leading downstairs may give you the impression that you've accidentally entered the staff room (laughs), but once you're inside, you'll find a cozy atmosphere. Some customers were enjoying board games at the counter. And as for the food, well, everything is just delicious. The chicken dishes all have a nice meaty texture, and the spicy dishes are all perfectly spicy. The creamy white liver is especially recommended.

Shibuya lunch. On this day, I headed towards Mark City. On the way from Route 246 to Mark City, I found this restaurant. It seems to be a yakitori restaurant, but I have never been there before. There was a sign on the street, indicating that they also serve lunch. I decided to go in and check it out. The restaurant is located underground. I went down the stairs and entered the interior. The space is not very large, with a slightly intricate layout. It has a dimly lit, hidden bar-like atmosphere. There are counter seats and table seats, and I chose to sit at the counter by myself. I looked at the menu. Since it's a yakitori restaurant, there are many dishes using chicken. From hina karaage to hina momo teppanyaki, oyakodon, and more. Among them, I was interested in the omurice. I ordered the yakitori omurice (900 yen). Although it wasn't very crowded, it took about 10 minutes from ordering to receiving the set soup and pickles. Then, it took another 15 minutes for the omurice and salad to arrive. I started eating. The omurice had chicken rice inside a thin omelette. However, it wasn't seasoned with ketchup, but rather with a yakitori sauce-like flavor. It had a slightly oily texture and was sweet. There were chunks of chicken mixed in, along with seaweed and shiso. The taste was well-balanced and decent. The set salad consisted of tomatoes, lettuce, onions, and a tangy dressing. The soup was a soy sauce-based wakame soup. The pickles were white cabbage pickled in soy sauce. It was a proper set lunch. The restaurant was run by a young man, and the service was good. The only downside was that it took 25 minutes for the lunch to be served. The taste was decent, and the atmosphere was nice. They had quite an attractive lunch menu, so I would like to try other dishes as well.

This yakitori restaurant near Shibuya Station is definitely the best! Great value for money and delicious taste. Not smoky. The staff are friendly! The liver comparison of two types is a masterpiece where you can taste the difference in flavor. The photo is... the remnants of chicken sukiyaki.

I have repeated visits to this place multiple times. The best thing about this place is that everything you eat is delicious! Especially, mixing rice with the mapo tofu and spicy chicken is delicious. Also, the stuffed bell peppers are great. Moreover, even when three girls eat and drink to their hearts' content, it costs around 3000 yen per person, so the cost performance is excellent. It's conveniently located near the station and is an easy-to-use restaurant. I look forward to using it in the future.
