25 minutes from Hakata Station on the Kyushu Shinkansen! 867m, 8-minute walk from Chikuho Funakoya Station! 3 minutes by car / 15 minutes on foot from JR Chikuho Funakoya Station! "Demon Slayer" sacred place?! 5-7 minutes by car to Mizoguchi Kamado Shrine! A hotel surrounded by nature! Relaxing moments surrounded by a 300-year-old camphor tree forest and the murmuring of the Yabe River - with a lush green view... Popular! Softbank HAWKS Baseball Park Chikuho within walking distance! About a 5-minute walk to the convenience store! Popular tourist spots. Chikuho Funakoya Park Inn is located in the former Toshima residence and Kurume Castle ruins! It is located within the vast Chikuho Regional Park, which is a representative of this area. Local gourmet foods such as eel from Yanagawa and Japanese beef are also easily accessible from Chikuho Funakoya Station, about a 5-minute drive away. The "Park Inn" standing on the embankment of the Yabe River boasts a panoramic bath! On the top floor, the 6th floor, there is a panoramic large public bath with views of the clear stream of the Yabe River and the park of hundred-year-old camphor trees - the quality of the spring is just right! The entire hotel exudes a nostalgic Showa-era atmosphere. The room I stayed in was a "Japanese-style room"! When you open the window of the room, you can overlook Chikuho Regional Park's dog run, Chikuho Funakoya Station, and the Softbank Hawks' second team baseball field, and the sunset and sunrise were spectacular - However, the futon for sleeping was too thin and the pillow was too high, so the sleeping comfort was the worst... Can't you improve it a little more? Only toothbrush amenities are provided! Tea and a pot are provided in the room. Breakfast was included, but... the breakfast was not at a level to be impressed by! As for drinks, "coffee" is charged at 200 yen, and I have stayed in various hotels, but this is the first time I have been charged for morning coffee. There was no raw egg included, and when I asked for one, they happily brought it to me, but... I was later charged 100 yen for it. It would be better to consult and redo the hotel service approach - With this quality, this price feels high. Around 3,500 yen for room only! Even with breakfast included, it's at a level of 4,500 yen. Enjoy Trip Life☆

Today, I went to a post-funeral gathering dinner with Anna-chan (*☻-☻*) at a restaurant called Hotaru in a park in Chikugo City. We had a traditional Japanese course meal in a private room, and the food was beautifully presented and delicious. The dishes were served promptly, with a variety of cold and hot dishes. The sashimi and tempura were particularly tasty. The only downside was that there was no explanation of the dishes, and the dessert was waffles, which felt too heavy after such a filling meal. Overall, the food at Hotaru was excellent, and I would love to visit again for lunch. Goodbye!

This is a restaurant on the second floor of a hotel along the Yabe River. It used to be a buffet restaurant, but now it has become a set meal restaurant. For 1500 yen, you get the dish in the photo along with vegetable tempura and grilled eggplant. Tempura, rice, and miso soup are all-you-can-eat. The food is delicious, but the additional order of tempura comes late. By the time the tempura arrives, it has already cooled down. It's not a restaurant that caters to tempura lovers, and I wish they would consider the customers waiting for their food.
