Today is my eldest son's birthday♪ We visited Torikizoku as per his request, which is located near my parents' house. It seems that now Torikizoku offers all items for 350 yen each (typically 2 pieces, tax included). Initially, I thought about the 3500 yen (tax included) all-you-can-eat option, but since I had to drive, I decided to go with ordering a la carte. My hungry sons ordered the generous portions of Torikizoku yaki (thigh and breast) repeatedly. The thigh Torikizoku yaki had a rich sauce with a delicious and fragrant taste, quite tasty. I heard that if you only order the Torikizoku yaki, the restaurant might end up in the red (^_^;) The cheese tsukune had a nice gooey cheese texture, a must-try for cheese lovers. We also had chicken cartilage, tail meat, and potato fries, among other dishes. We finished with chicken kamameshi, feeling satisfied and full. Since I started using Tabelog, I haven't been to chain izakayas like Torikizoku or Monteroza as often, but it's nice to visit them occasionally. I didn't drink alcohol, so it ended up costing me only 2500 yen, which was cheaper than I expected♪

Tonight was Nishino Kana's concert at Kyocera Dome Osaka. It was not just hot, but really lively. Many people were wearing "Many Thanks" T-shirts and had yellow towels around their necks (laughs). The JR train was also very crowded. At times like this, it's best to avoid the rush and grab something to eat before heading home slowly (laughs). I definitely feel like having a drink, at a reasonable price. I spotted the reliable and stable option, Torikizoku. Feeling hungry and with empty seats available, I decided to go there for now. It's pretty much the same as always. Torikizoku is Torikizoku, whether in Kyoto or Osaka. I devoured the cabbage, enjoyed the Torikizoku yakitori, and finished off with chicken kamameshi. Oh!? I was pleasantly surprised to see "Ginza no Suzume" barley shochu! It's from Yabakei Shuzo in Oita, what a delight. Oops, eating too much is the usual for me (laughs). "I wonder if you'll laugh if I say that," I really "like" it. Laugh.

After watching a baseball game at Osaka Dome with a friend, we walked towards Taisho Station and searched for a cheap place to have some drinks. We found Torikizoku, a well-known chain, and decided to go in. Whenever I come to this chain, I always order the Momokizoku-yaki and Munekizoku-yaki, both 2 pieces for 280 yen. They are very delicious and filling. We had a few drinks and some food, and ended up spending around 1300 yen per person. By the time we were leaving, we realized that all the staff working in the kitchen were cute women! Definitely coming back here soon! 😂

I often use this place with my local friends. The cost performance is good and the cheerful customer service is nice. I think Kirin Ichiban Shibori for 280 yen is cheap. All other menu items are also 280 yen, so you can order anything without hesitation and end up ordering various things without realizing it. The store also frequently changes its menu, so it's convenient as you won't get bored. The staff is energetic and efficient in their customer service, and the drinks are served quickly. I plan to go there often in the future!

I stopped by after visiting Kyocera Dome. I decided to stop by because I thought it would take quite some time to get on the train (loop line). It is located about 50 meters to the left under the elevated structure in front of Taisho Station. There was a bit of a wait before entering, and the staff handed me a towel saying, "It's hot...". Despite being under the elevated structure, the lively atmosphere of the shop and the customers chatting made it not too bothersome. All items are 280 yen (including tax), so the payment is straightforward. I ordered the Shiomomo skewers (2 pieces per serving) and the stuffed bell peppers (3 pieces per serving). They are perfect snacks with a generous portion of sauce. The stuffed bell peppers stand out with their unique dashi soy sauce, making them worth a try even for those who don't like bell peppers. This store also has a second-floor seating area, and it seemed to have a large number of seats. I visited alone after a live event, and even though it was crowded, the staff kindly moved me from the second floor to the counter, making my experience enjoyable. I also bought a "Trick" strap as a souvenir, which was also 280 yen. Additionally, there seems to be an elderly customer who claims to be an acquaintance of Tadayoshi Okura from the self-proclaimed Kanjani Eight, and I actually met that person. Well, it's not really important information, so it's best to just laugh it off (you could easily find this information on the Johnny's web). The drink menu is also extensive, making it a place where even non-drinkers can enjoy.
