I went with three friends. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was calm and gave a good impression. It had a nice level of stylishness, making it suitable for dates or girls' nights out. Since we had made a reservation for a course, we were able to enjoy a variety of dishes. In particular, the grilled local chicken, simmered local chicken, and chicken rice were all very delicious. Each dish had its own carefully crafted flavor, unlike beef or pork which have strong individual flavors, allowing us to enjoy a variety of tastes. The overall quality of the food was high, and the atmosphere of the private room was also good, making it a place worth revisiting.

On this day, after work, I had a quick meal at the izakaya "Tottori Shinjuku Store" near the entrance of Kabukicho. The inside of the restaurant is spacious and has a clean atmosphere. It was crowded with office workers after work, giving it a popular feel. All the dishes have generous portions and are perfect for sharing. I have marked recommended items with ⭐️ so feel free to use them as reference~(p^ェ^q) ⚫ Tottori Special Salad: Delicious and good value! ⚫ Dashimaki Tamago: A large and satisfying rolled omelette! ⚫ Seared Mackerel: Mackerel with just the right amount of fat, perfect as a snack! Fresh and tasty!! This time, what I received at "Tottori" were ⭐Wasabi soy sauce with nagaimo for 572 yen ⭐Ume suisho for 638 yen *I personally combined nagaimo with ume suisho to create a dish and enjoyed it ⭐Tottori special salad for 968 yen ⭐Lotus root chips for 528 yen *I added lotus root chips to a fresh vegetable and sashimi salad for a crispy texture and it made it even more delicious ⭐Fried camembert cheese for 748 yen *I asked the staff to drizzle honey on it to create honey camembert fry ⭐Shrimp and seasonal vegetable tempura for 1298 yen *I enjoyed it with carefully selected salt and special tempura sauce ⭐Fondant chocolate for 628 yen. I always end up ordering dessert (*´∀`*) I enjoyed the moist fondant chocolate with vanilla ice cream. Thank you to all the staff at "Tottori", including the president. I had a very delicious and enjoyable time. I will definitely come back. If you visit "Tottori", try adding some of my suggested twists and enjoy a new taste experience ❤️

Located near Shinjuku East Exit, the izakaya "Jidori to Jizake Shinjuku Tottori" is a great place to have a drink! Reasonably priced with a wide variety of dishes including seafood, local chicken, and meat dishes, all of which are main course quality. Here are the dishes I chose today based on my mood: - Tottori Special Salad: A variety of fresh fish slices with plenty of vegetables, dressed in soy sauce-based dressing. - Today's Fresh Sashimi: Today's special is salmon, thick slices with a satisfying bite. - Black Pork Tender Braised: A large chunk that is tender and flavorful, melts in your mouth. - Scallop and Mitsuba Tempura: Crispy and hot, the scallop has a nice texture and sweetness. - Anago Fluffy Tempura: A large piece with a great texture, delicious with salt or tempura sauce. - Wagyu Tataki with grated ponzu sauce: A popular dish recommended by the staff, beautifully presented in a cool dish with a pink center, the ponzu sauce and sliced onions enhance the flavor. - Local Chicken Karaage: A classic izakaya dish, crispy and fragrant, best with lemon and a bit of mayo. - Matsuba Crab Special Fried Rice: A perfect dish to end the meal, light and comforting with crab meat and scrambled eggs. - Sweet Potato Stick Fry: A dessert option, hot, crispy, and sweet, even better with some honey drizzled on top. This izakaya not only offers typical izakaya dishes but also has unique and original menu items that make it a standout place to dine.

I was invited by a friend to go to the hot pot and chicken cuisine specialty restaurant "Tottori Shinjuku Main Store" in Shinjuku. I checked the menu on Tabelog before going, but there wasn't anything I really wanted to eat, so I was a little disappointed. However, we had a private room where we could relax, chat, drink, and eat, so I'll consider it a good experience. #Shinjuku #ShinjukuGourmet #HotPotAndChickenCuisineSpecialtyStore #TottoriShinjukuMainStore #Foodie #LoveDeliciousFood #FoodLover #FoodieDiary #TokyoGourmet #TokyoGourmetReport #TokyoGourmetReportOfficialAmbassador

Yesterday, I visited "Jidori and Jizake Shinjuku Tottori" in Kabukicho. Located just a 2-minute walk from Shinjuku Station East Exit, this izakaya has a variety of menu items which makes it enjoyable. Despite the name "Tottori," I didn't try any Tottori-specific dishes but instead chose what I felt like eating. The menu seemed to have changed as it was quite different from what was listed on Tabelog, so be careful when checking it out. I wanted to try dishes like grilled snow crab, the signature "Kaa-san stew," and "omu-soba." However, I ended up ordering: - Wagyu beef tataki with grated ponzu sauce - Pufferfish tempura - Chanja (Korean spicy stir-fried pork) - Black pork simmered in a thick sauce - Special fried rice with Matsuba crab - Tottori's original salad - Cheesecake Along with drinks, we were served edamame as a complimentary appetizer. The total bill for two people, including the appetizer, was just under 10,000 yen. While there were some very negative reviews on Tabelog, I personally didn't feel that way. I enjoyed a delicious meal in a private room and had a relaxing time. (Not all seating is in private rooms.)

When it's hot like this, you feel like drinking from early hours, right? In that case, I recommend an izakaya called "Shinjuku Tottori" that opens from 3 pm. They have a wide variety of izakaya menu items and a deep selection. They offer a course menu with sushi made from brand chicken and many dishes made from local chicken. If you're lost for where to eat in Kabukicho, be sure to check this place out!

I stopped by after work. It's located just a 2-minute walk from Shinjuku Station. ▼Menu ordered this time ・Matsuba crab fried rice 968 yen ・Steamed chicken and tofu sesame salad 693 yen ・Sashimi platter (3 types) 1,628 yen ・Shimahokke (Atka mackerel) 1,485 yen ・Stingray fin 528 yen ・Seared mackerel 825 yen ・Japanese beef tataki with grated ponzu sauce 1,085 yen ・Yuzu sherbet 495 yen All the dishes were delicious, but personally, I really liked the Japanese beef tataki with grated ponzu sauce and the seared mackerel! The yuzu sherbet after the meal was also very refreshing and tasty. The location is great being close to the station, so I recommend it to those who want to drink around Shinjuku!

Two people used 10,660 yen. Ordered items: beer, grapefruit sour, fried chicken, fried tofu (not crispy), simmered pork belly (tough with gristle), ochazuke (tasted like Echigoya's instant ochazuke), torimeshi (lukewarm), sashimi platter with 5 varieties, octopus with wasabi, deep-fried Camembert... I won't go back, not tasty. I wouldn't be surprised if they said the ingredients were from a business supermarket.

Specializing in hot pot and charcoal-grilled local chicken, "Jidori to Jizake Shinjuku Tottori" is a must-visit spot! You can enjoy a slightly luxurious meal in a calm Japanese-style private room in Shinjuku. Located at the entrance of Kabukicho, this hidden gem provides a peaceful atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of Shinjuku. Whether you are dining with a small group or a large party, the spacious area can accommodate everyone. Last night, we enjoyed a private Japanese-style room for a relaxing dining experience. The dishes we had included: - Fresh fish and avocado tartare (950 yen) - Scallops and trefoil tempura (858 yen) - Fried octopus (638 yen) - Assorted grilled chicken skewers (1058 yen) - Assorted sushi with fresh fish (1848 yen) The clam was delicious, and the sushi was made with carefully selected fresh fish by skilled chefs. The highlight of the meal was the Jidori chicken hot pot (3036 yen), which was simply outstanding. The rich soup with plenty of firm Jidori chicken was a perfect match. The soup was also great for finishing off with a delicious porridge. In addition, we had an appetizer service charge (480 yen) and a drink all-you-can-drink option (1650 yen) with over 100 drinks available, including draft beer. Located right near Shinjuku Station, it's a great place for after-work gatherings, drinks with friends, or a girls' night out!

Located in a building along Yasukuni Street in Kabukicho, Shinjuku, this izakaya has a calm atmosphere despite being in Kabukicho. The dishes are all delicious, especially the black pork simmered in sweet soy sauce and the sweet potato stick fries, which I ordered twice. The special fried rice with Matsuba crab is generous in portion and not greasy, making it very easy to eat. Finally, for dessert, I had the fondant au chocolat, which was rich and tasted amazing with the ice cream. They also offer hot pot dishes, and their all-you-can-drink course seems to be quite cost-effective.

The izakaya has a wide variety of menu options and seems very user-friendly. I ordered motsunabe as the main dish, and even though it's an izakaya, I was surprised by the huge portion! I finished off with a delicious zosui. I went with my child, and the seating was spacious and nice. They also have private rooms, so I'd like to try that next time.

The pot was impressive and surprised me. The scallops were also large and delicious! The sashimi was beautiful too! Although it was early, there were quite a few people inside the restaurant. The staff, who were foreigners, were flexible and accommodating. The restaurant was clean and I liked that the restrooms were separate for men and women. The salmon seemed a bit frozen, but the clams were firm and chewy! The wagyu beef was also tender.

A izakaya where you can enjoy a variety of dishes featuring local chicken. I visited Shinjuku Tottori because I wanted to eat hot pot dishes. It's a place where you can enjoy the specialty chicken dishes of Tottori. The interior of the restaurant is dimly lit and calm. It has a luxurious feel. I tried the chicken sukiyaki hot pot that I wanted to eat! The sound of it simmering is so appetizing! The chewy chicken, cabbage, mushrooms, leeks, tofu, and other vegetables have a good sweetness and are delicious. There are also various other dishes on the menu. I was curious about other dishes and ordered the Japanese beef tataki with grated ponzu sauce and a five-piece sashimi assortment. As expected, everything was delicious. The spacious seating inside the restaurant is perfect for group gatherings! Highly recommended♪

The other day, I visited Tottori in Shinjuku \(//∇//)\ The interior of the restaurant is spacious and recommended for parties and private events! They don't have private rooms. Also, it's not non-smoking so the smell of cigarettes was a bit strong... The dishes I had were: • Tottori's special creative salad • Assorted sashimi • Melty pork stew • Sweet potato sticks • Tuna and avocado tartare • Grilled saury The food was delicious and served quickly \(//∇//)\ However, in addition to the appetizer, they also charge a service fee of around 1000 yen, so please be aware of that ===========

I made a reservation for a completely private room, but it turned out to be separated from the next seat by a curtain-like divider, which was different from what I had imagined. Also, when I ordered a soft drink, alcohol was mistakenly served and I didn't realize it until I took a sip. I saw families dining there, so I think it would be better if they used straws.

I chose a smoking room, but it was not really a private room at all. There was a curtain, but it was small and did not serve its purpose. I couldn't even lower it, so it was extremely smoky! The all-you-can-drink drinks were slow to come, and for the first 30 minutes, all we got was edamame. The attitude of the staff, the way they served orders, it was all just not up to par. It's just cheap... It's the worst place to go on a date! It might be okay for those who want to drink cheaply with friends or for those who want to smoke. I will never go there again!!

All-you-can-drink options are not as varied as advertised. It's not because of a lack of ingredients, but they simply don't have many options listed on the menu. In short, it feels like a scam. I won't go into further details, but if you're considering the all-you-can-drink option because of the variety of alcohol, you might be disappointed, so it's better to avoid it. I booked a course and used it. The all-you-can-drink option is advertised as 3 hours, but on weekends like Friday and Saturday, it seems to be only 2 hours. The foreign staff didn't explain this to us, but I can tolerate it since I'm not a heavy drinker who would go on for 3 hours straight. When I looked at the all-you-can-drink menu, I was surprised. The claim of having 100 drink options is a lie. In reality, there were around 30 options at best. There were only 3 types of highballs. There were almost no cocktail options like gin, Moscow mule, or cassis. It's unacceptable. Even if we can overlook the absence of gin, having no cassis options is just not acceptable. There were some sour drinks that were high in alcohol content. They were a bit bland but tasted okay. They did have beer, which was good. I didn't drink the carbonated ones, but the regular beer was available. If the restaurant is not neglecting its listing on food review sites, they should make some changes. If they can't prepare certain drinks due to lack of ingredients, that's understandable, but not having them on the menu from the start is just not right. The food was fine except for the dessert being tiny. I didn't go there for dessert, so it's okay. The fried chicken was large and delicious, and the hot pot was good, although there was a bit less offal than I expected. The salad with tuna and salmon was like a good carpaccio. The chicken sashimi was more like pepper steak, but it was tasty. The stir-fried chicken tenderloin was too oily. They should consider that when serving it towards the end of the all-you-can-drink session. Overall, I would say I will only go there once. Especially if you're looking for a wide variety of drinks, it's better to avoid this place. I was attracted by the variety of drinks, but I was quite disappointed. The discrepancies between the information provided and the actual offerings make it hard to trust (especially since it's near Kabukicho). Personally, I don't think I will go there a second time. If I'm going to spend that much, I might as well go somewhere else or change locations for drinking from the start. It's not a rip-off, but there is some compromise needed, so... The cost performance is not the worst because of the all-you-can-drink option. In fact, it might be worth it considering the amount of food, but I feel like I lost out a lot on the drinks. I am actually losing out. For those who only drink beer or highballs, it might not be bad. The taste of the course dishes is relatively homely, so it's not the best match for drinking, but if you order a few items separately while doing all-you-can-drink, it's not a bad choice. It's not recommended for a date, as the surrounding area is not very safe. You might as well choose a place before this one or go to a different station for a date.

I wanted to have a meeting while drinking, but the place was not a completely private room. There were no curtains or partitions, and we were exposed to cigarette smoke. We were told to order at least 2 drinks and 2 dishes, even though there was no discount offered. The drinks took a long time to arrive, and the service was slow. The food was decent, but there were hygiene concerns with the beer glasses. The prices were a bit high. It's better to choose a restaurant in Shinjuku beforehand.

I wanted to start drinking early so I went to this place without high expectations. As I suspected, it was a low-quality establishment, more suited for college students perhaps. I decided to go for the all-you-can-drink option, thinking I would have at least three drinks since it was my first stop of the night. However, the beer they served was undrinkable, and even the lemon sour tasted strange, like the glass was dirty. The appetizer menu was average at best. With a few snacks and all-you-can-drink, it cost around 4000 yen per person. Considering the taste and atmosphere, I felt this was quite expensive. I doubt I will ever go back there.
