The curtain was lifted and the ramen was served! The spicy sauce was red... it's Ichiran ramen!

It's been a while since I went to Ichiran. They have a parking lot with space for 10 cars nearby, making it easy to visit. You can choose the richness, firmness of the noodles, and spiciness level. I opted for extra spicy but kept everything else normal. The restroom had plenty of toilet paper replacements on the wall, which made me laugh. 😂

Phew. As expected, Ichiran is quite pricey. But my kid wanted to eat here! So, I gave in to their request and went again. One bowl wasn't enough, so I ended up getting a refill. It's delicious, but I wish it was a bit cheaper. If you download their app, you can accumulate points with each visit and even get free refills!

We often use it with our family. This day we used it at night. As usual, the children used a free coupon. I only bought a noodle ticket for the children, and I used a noodle coupon I had. I never get tired of Ichiran. It feels like a good deal, has a good turnover rate, and is easy to use. It's great.

After having French cuisine, unexpectedly ended up at Ichiran...! The main store had a 40-minute wait, so I regretfully went to this branch instead. It's been years since I last came to eat here, but it's still delicious! I could have had a refill, but I resisted the temptation... Ichiran has been a COVID-safe restaurant even before the pandemic, with the staff's faces not visible.

It would be easier to visit more often if it were a little cheaper. I ordered ramen with an extra serving for 1100 yen. There was a free egg gift on the app, so we also got a half-boiled egg. I always think that the staff at Ichiran are very polite and it feels good. I always feel like eating it regularly. I used the Ichiran Nanoka store this time. I challenged without the spicy sauce for the first time. I ordered everything with the default normal taste. I thought Ichiran was so creamy because I didn't put in the secret sauce for the first time. I always put in the most garlic in the spicy sauce, so I always got a stomach ache, but this time I'm fine. However, I still want a little bit of spicy sauce.

During that time, we bought meal tickets, filled out a paper with choices like garlic/no garlic, green onion/white onion, char siu/no char siu, noodle firmness, etc., showed the staff the kids' ramen app, and took photos. The children had free ramen with a half noodle refill ticket. Even though it was a half refill, the amount of noodles for the children was the same as a full refill. When my husband and I went, he also mentioned that the children received a full refill amount with a half refill ticket, so the service spirit towards children is really great. So whenever we are unsure of where to go for ramen, we always end up at Ichiran. It's delicious, fast, has good customer service, and is also very child-friendly.

I ordered a ramen with an extra serving for 1100 yen. It's a bit pricier than regular ramen shops, but it was delicious. My younger child finished everything, and my older child even finished half of the extra serving. Kids really do love ramen.

For the first meal of the day before heading to the airport, I considered trying Tsuchinoko Ramen, but there were too many uncertainties and I was afraid of missing my flight, so I opted for the reliable and stable Ichiran! I also considered the airport branch, but due to the shortened operating hours caused by the pandemic, it was not open early in the morning yet. So I went to the Nakanokawa branch!! Since it was morning, I ordered the noodles on the softer side. Ramen 890 yen, Half-boiled egg 130 yen. It was my first time in a long time (about 10 years?) at Ichiran, and the soup was as delicious as ever with no unpleasant smell (*´Д｀*). I feel like the quality of the chashu has improved. I also liked the rough chashu they used to have, haha. According to their website, the Nakanokawa branch is the "originating store," not the main store. There was a trophy for being the top ramen chain in the entrance! Perhaps the decline in customer service is due to the influx of inbound tourists. Hopefully, they will improve their service soon. I showed the app and found out that for every adult, up to 5 children can eat for free with the kids ramen offer. So, since both of my children were free, it felt like a good deal. We chose normal soup richness and noodle firmness. The creamy soup and thin noodles were delicious, with the noodles absorbing the rich flavor well. The kids' ramen was also made to their liking, without green onions but with chashu, and both kids finished their bowls. The kids were excited about the revolving chairs and the curtain dropping when the ramen was served, which added to the fun experience.

It's been a while since I visited Ichiran by the river. The parking lot was in a different location and the prices had gone up significantly. A set of ramen and extra noodles for 1100 yen!? Wasn't it around 700 yen for extra noodles in the past? If I'm paying 1100 yen, I could eat something better... Despite thinking this, I managed to finish it. The taste wasn't extremely delicious either. I'll probably end up coming back again, even though I think this way (laughs).

I usually prefer udon or soba over ramen, but I wanted to try Ichiran's first store and checked in for a snack at 10 o'clock. It was not crowded at that time! The store has been renovated and both the exterior and interior are very clean and impressive! I could also see the kitchen, which was very clean as well. I ordered with normal flavor intensity, regular thickness, no garlic, green onions, with chashu, and the basic red secret sauce. The noodles were normal.
