I had been thinking of visiting this restaurant because it's popular, and I finally went. I purchased a ramen and gyoza set for 1400 yen. It's a bit pricey. When I entered the restaurant, the owner was the only one there, no one else. I handed over my food ticket, and was asked if I wanted garlic in my ramen. I said yes, but now I regret it because it overpowered the flavor. The chashu was good, but the soup was too garlicky for my taste. The gyoza was tasty, but at 450 yen, it felt overpriced compared to a beef bowl at Yoshinoya. The real issue came after finishing my meal, with an unacceptable customer service experience that I can't fully describe here. If you're curious, feel free to message me for more details. I had some drinks and got hungry in the middle of the night, so I visited this place! I accidentally put too much pepper because the holes were too big... The taste was similar to Kinryu Ramen, but I felt it was a bit cleaner than Kinryu Ramen! It's hard to explain, but it wasn't a taste that I absolutely loved, but I thought it's the kind of taste that I might crave occasionally. If I get hungry in the middle of the night again, I might come back here. The owner was also very kind, and I had a good meal! Thank you!

I love the "#Original Kagoshima Ramen" (regular 950 yen, large 1300 yen) but this place has a completely different taste, so I rarely go there. A similar place with a taste I like is "#Garlic Ramen Sanpei" (regular 850 yen, large 1000 yen) which is a bit cheaper (regular 600 yen, large 800 yen) and delicious. Another place is "#Original Garlic Ramen Teradamachi" where the taste is not as good but it's conveniently located (regular 980 yen, large 1200 yen). The prices are a bit higher, but the location is good. Unfortunately, the Kagoshima Ramen "#Kitashinchi store" and "#Dotonbori store" have closed down. I visited around 1 a.m. on a regular night. I had heard that it could be full on weekends or at certain times, so I was praying, but I was able to get a seat! You buy a meal ticket. I chose the char siu ramen, which is tonkotsu, but it's light and delicious. I asked for a little garlic to be added. It's perfect after drinking!

【Situation】 After solo ramen hopping in Minami, I found myself almost losing consciousness as I slurped down this ramen. Even though I was already full, I couldn't resist coming here. The light and refreshing tonkotsu broth was perfect after a night of drinking. The generous chashu slices made a great snack to pair with my beer. I would never visit this place sober; facing the ticket machine in a drunken state is oddly satisfying. I'll definitely be back on the weekend! Thank you for the meal! 🍜🍺

I visited with the expectation of enjoying thick and rich char siu, but it turned out to be surprisingly light. I felt like I could get a ramen with more volume of char siu and toppings for the same price. The fried rice lacked the crispy texture and fragrance that I was hoping for. It was a highly rated restaurant, so I think I ended up feeling disappointed.

I am "Noronori," and I mainly eat lunch around Sakai. I sat at the counter and had a 900 yen ramen. It had three thick slices of chashu. For some reason, I always thought it was from Satsumakko Ramen. Thank you for the meal.

This is Ramen Satsuma!! Open 24 hours on weekends, visited for morning ramen around 8:30 am. Dotonbori is already full of tourists at this time! Today, it's all about ramen! Naniwa Light-style Tonkotsu Soup, similar to Kagoshima ramen with a light tonkotsu broth. Of course, I added garlic, and there were chopped garlic in the soup. The noodles were slightly curly and medium thin. The light tonkotsu soup with garlic flavor was delicious, and the garlic taste was strong. The large amount of green onions added a nice texture, and the bean sprouts were crunchy. This type of soup pairs well with the vinegar and table pepper on the table. The chashu was fatty sliced chashu, meaty and tender. A delicious bowl with a strong garlic flavor in the morning!

I ordered char siu ramen but regular ramen came out. When I asked, they quickly brought out additional char siu, but I was flustered. The char siu had a good flavor that I liked. The soup was also not bad, leaning towards my preference. The only downside was the cost performance.

I visited "Ramen Satsuma" in Nipponbashi, Osaka, which I had been curious about for a while. This place is not related to the "Satsuma Kid Kitashinchi" shop where I used to go when my workplace was in Dojima. By the way, it seems that the Kitashinchi shop is now closed. I ordered ramen and half-fried rice from the ticket machine, and also had a bottle of beer. When asked if I wanted garlic, I naturally said yes. After waiting for about 5 minutes, the ramen arrived. The medium-thick curly noodles were deliciously mixed with the pork bone soy sauce-based soup. It was so good that I will definitely crave it again. The fried rice was also lightly seasoned and simply delicious. This ramen shop is open until 4 AM. Garlic charge complete!

We went with 4 people! The owner was working alone and seemed quite busy, making it a bit difficult to place our order! The menu was simple, and we ordered a set of fried rice and ramen with gyoza. The thick-cut chashu in the ramen was delicious! The fried rice wasn't too salty and tasted good. It's conveniently located, so if you visit Minami, be sure to check it out!

As soon as I sat down, I ordered the ramen and half-fried rice set. First, the fried rice and kimchi were served. The ramen had a lot of garlic, just the way I like it. The chashu was really tender. I ate the fried rice, drank the soup, and it was the perfect finish to a drinking party. I wanted more garlic, but the owner said he already put a lot in. Next time, I'll bring my own. Haha.

This is Ramen Satsuma! Located along Dotonbori and Sakaisuji, open even late at night, this is a shop serving hearty garlic-rich Satsuma Kagoshima ramen! I visited the day before my day off after work. I had the Kimchi Ramen - a light tonkotsu soup base with Satsuma Kagoshima ramen soup. I asked for extra chopped garlic. The curly medium-thick noodles came with plenty of bean sprouts and green onions. The Kagoshima tonkotsu ramen also had a generous serving of fatty pork belly chashu, which was tender and delicious. The amount of kimchi was unexpectedly large. A delicious bowl with a light tonkotsu base, chopped garlic, and lots of kimchi - this is a stamina-filled and tasty dish! It had been a while since I visited Ramen Satsuma in Dotonbori, and this garlic-rich bowl was delicious!

I went to "Ramen Satsuma" in Namba and had the fried rice (800 yen including tax). They prepare the fried rice in advance and then stir-fry it in a frying pan before serving. It was a moist type of fried rice with a strong flavor. I also liked that it came with kimchi, not just ramen soup. Thank you for the meal.

I visited a ramen shop called "Ramen Satsuma" in the Nihonbashi and Sennichimae area for lunch. When I entered the shop, I found the entrance open and the owner was the only one there with no other customers. I ordered the ramen set meal (ramen, rice, kimchi) and when asked if I wanted garlic, I requested a little bit. After waiting for a while, the ramen was served with toppings such as chashu, bean sprouts, and green onions. The noodles were soft and had a good texture, in a pork bone soy sauce-based broth with a hint of garlic flavor and a nice level of saltiness, making it delicious and easy to eat. The combination of rice and ramen in the set meal was satisfying, and I finished it quickly. The shop was a bit hot due to poor air conditioning, but I wiped away the sweat with a towel while eating. The shop offers 6 types of set meals, and there is only pepper as a condiment on the table. The shop has 7 counter seats and 2 tables (for 4 people each) and is run by the owner alone. The taste of the ramen was okay, but there were some hygiene concerns that affected my rating.

This was my first visit to this old-fashioned restaurant!! Until recently, it used to have quite a few Chinese customers. But they started raising prices, even higher than what was listed on Tabelog. Especially the tantanmen went from 700 yen to 950 yen... I had the ramen for 850 yen with garlic. It had a nostalgic taste, like the kind of flavor that used to be popular when ramen specialty shops first started appearing. The combination of noodles and soup was really good. The cheap and junky vibe was just right.

In addition to the Ramen (¥850), there are other noodle options such as Kimchi Ramen (¥950) and Tantanmen (¥950). I ordered the Yakibuta Men with extra chashu, and opted for garlic. The soup is a light tonkotsu base with a soy sauce flavor and a moderate amount of oil. It has a smooth texture with a slight thickness, and a subtle sweetness from the animal ingredients, enhanced by the fresh garlic flavor. The noodles are medium-thin curly noodles cooked slightly soft with a good chewy texture. They pair well with the soup. The chashu consists of six large slices of pork belly with a firm and flavorful taste. Other toppings include green onions and bean sprouts, and you can adjust the flavor with black pepper on the table. The restaurant has a counter with 6 seats and two tables for 4 people each, totaling 14 seats. The price is slightly higher compared to other garlic ramen places in Osaka.
