I went to a restaurant that wasn't registered on Tabelog yet, so I decided to add a new entry. On that day, my daughter went to a nature class, and my husband had a dinner meeting with clients, so I went to "Gohan-ya Tenogi" for a solo meal. This restaurant is located in a renovated house, and it can be easy to miss because it looks like a regular house. It's located in Nagao, so I looked up the directions beforehand but still got a bit lost. However, I quickly found it in the end. The restaurant mainly serves set meals (mostly Japanese cuisine). From the various menu options, I chose the "Miso-grilled Silver Cod" for 1200 yen. The main dish, the silver cod, was delicious, and the side dishes were also very tasty. The miso soup with okra and thick fried tofu was also really good. Eating a meal alone and taking my time was pure happiness. I definitely want to come back to this restaurant alone next time.
