The system of bringing in your own alcohol and having all-you-can-drink is amazing. The staff, who are all sake enthusiasts, provided detailed explanations. The location near department stores makes it easy to buy side dishes. The restaurant is bright and pleasant inside.

On Sunday around 1pm, we visited the restaurant with a group of 6 people. We made a reservation but the place was always full. They offer a long lunch plan which is very cost-effective. You can bring your own snacks and enjoy all-you-can-drink sake from the showcase! They have unique types of sake including sweet ones, ones mixed with dashi, and cloudy sake. They also offer wine, lemon sours, liqueurs, and beer, so even if you're not a big sake fan, you can still enjoy yourself with friends! Just be aware that they only have high chairs for seating, possibly for preventing people from getting too drunk. It's a great place to have a fun time with friends!

It is a self-service all-you-can-drink shop that offers sake and fruit wine. You bring your own snacks, so the atmosphere can vary depending on who you go with! I ended up buying mostly dried snacks, but there were quite a few people who brought sushi and other dishes. There is a wide variety of drinks available, and being able to drink as much as you want of your favorite drinks in a home party atmosphere is great! It was nice to be able to pace myself with the amount of alcohol, especially when there are many types I want to try! - Amount of alcohol: a lot - Occasion: drinking with friends - Number of people: 2 - Amount spent: 3,600 yen - Customer base: younger crowd. It's lively but not too noisy, so it's not bothersome. - Crowdedness: It was full! It's safer to make a reservation. - Service: It's mostly self-service, but the staff were friendly and helpful.

I went to a restaurant where the lunchtime all-you-can-drink was ending, so my drinking friends made a reservation and we went. This was my second time at this place, and they have a lot of unusual drinks rather than the usual ones you see everywhere, so it's fun. I poured a little bit into a small cup to taste and once I found something I liked, I just kept drinking that.

Visited this place with friends for a drinking session. We opted for the unlimited tasting plan from 18:00 to 23:00. The establishment only sells some snacks and canned goods, so bringing your own snacks is the norm. They have regular sake in the fridge, and on the tables, they offer limited-time premium sake festivals, fresh sake festivals, fruit sake, dashi sake, and all-you-can-eat ice cream with sake toppings - very entertaining. By posting photos of the sake or the interior with #KURAND, you can get special sake, and there's also a sake gacha event for posting reviews on the KURAND website. The sake selection includes various private label bottles for KURAND from different breweries. If you have knowledge about brewery names and their major brands, it can enhance your enjoyment. But even if you just choose by the label, you can still have a good time. Those looking for premium or famous brands might be slightly disappointed. Overall, it's a great place to enjoy with friends and have a lively time. The sake that stood out for me this day was "Kiein" from a brewery that brews Hyakutaro. It had a strong rice flavor and was delicious. "Juicy Omachi" from a brewery that focuses on sake production was just as the name suggests. Sake poured over ice cream was more enjoyable than drinking it straight. The special sake I tried was "Mume" made from ripe plums, which I compared with the same sake made from unripe plums. The ripe plum "Mume" was like plum jam, a perfect dessert sake. Lastly, I had a dashi sake. The sea bream dashi was like a soothing soup, while the red snow crab dashi was luxurious with a sweet taste. The last order is at 22:30, but when I went to get my last drink before that time, they said it was already over as the clock struck 22:30 when they opened the fridge. It was disappointing to have such a narrow-minded response even though I made sure to manage my time accordingly. We brought homemade snacks and also ordered sashimi from Uo Yoshi near Shinjuku Gyoenmae Station, spending 2000 yen. They offer a mixed sashimi platter if you tell them your budget and fish preferences. We requested flounder, amberjack, baby bluefin tuna from Oma, as well as sardines and octopus, and they prepared an impressive platter for us! They mentioned that they make a good profit by selling in bulk to restaurants, hence the reasonable prices for regular customers. KURAND is about a 10-minute walk away and highly recommended. It's a great spot for those who just want to enjoy sake and have a casual drinking session.

I went to KURAND SAKE MARKET Shinjuku, where you can bring your own food and enjoy a variety of drinks. The menu includes unlimited drinking for ¥3,300, 90 minutes for ¥2,200, and 30 minutes for ¥1,100. You can try about 100 types of sake, fruit wine, plum wine, and shochu. The place offers a self-service style where you can compare and enjoy different drinks in your favorite cup. The atmosphere is clean and bright, with a wide selection of drinks. You can bring your own food, and there are basic snacks available. The place provides a microwave, dishes, chopsticks, condiments, and even pots. The original sake selection is enjoyable to explore, and the dashi-wari (fish broth) was particularly impressive. They also offer all-you-can-eat ice cream. The shop is suitable for solo diners, girls' night out, dates, and drinking parties. The opening hours are convenient, and there is Wi-Fi and power outlets available. Overall, it's a great place for sake lovers to gather and have a good time.

"Lunch Drinking" We reserved a plan on Tabelog for 2,200 yen where you can drink and compare different drinks unlimitedly, and visited the place on Saturday. This plan is available only on weekends and holidays from 12:00 to 16:00 (last order at 15:30) for all-you-can-drink Japanese sake. The concept of the restaurant seems to be focused on bringing your own food and enjoying plenty of Japanese sake. We wandered around the nearest department store basement, picking out various deli items and sushi rolls with our friends before heading to the restaurant. The location is near Shinjuku Sanchome Station, exit C6 (elevator only), with the building just a few steps away from the exit. As we arrived just before 12:00, we had to wait for the elevator, which was the only way to access the 6th floor where the restaurant is located. The restaurant has a capacity for 6 people, but most guests bring their own food, so it felt crowded with 4-5 people. We arrived at the restaurant around 11:57 after going up and down the elevator a couple of times. Upon entering, there was hand sanitizer, payment, and age verification required. Don't forget to bring an item that confirms your age, like a driver's license. The interior of the restaurant had high tables, stools, and a counter with a capacity of around 30 people. The spacing between tables felt a bit tight, making it challenging to move around without bothering others. We were seated at the counter by the window, which offered a nice view of the surrounding area. The staff explained that we could enjoy drinks until 4:00 PM (last order at 3:30 PM), and reminded us to wear masks and sanitize when getting up. The staff were friendly and provided detailed explanations about the drinks. They had a variety of glasses, sake cups, and even items for hot sake. There were also disposable chopsticks, silverware, large plates for the food we brought, and small plates for sharing. The restaurant offered a self-service system for drinks, except for draft beer, which the staff poured for us. There were different types of sake categorized by taste, along with spirits, plum wine, shochu, and soft drinks available. We were surprised with a snack of spiced nuts, which we assumed was a replacement for the appetizer. Overall, it was a fun experience enjoying a variety of drinks and food at this unique restaurant."

Visited KURAND for the first time in 3 years with 4 drinking buddies on August 6th (Saturday) from 12:00 to 16:00. Started with beer, sake with sea bream broth, and sparkling sake, then ended up trying over 20 different brands of sake... Once again, I failed to learn from the last time and found myself welcoming the morning at home. KURAND is truly amazing... (laughs)

I have been to a restaurant before that specializes in premium sake such as vintage, modern, and new brands in the same price range and style. I was disappointed because they only had unfamiliar sake and breweries. It seems like they only offer original products created by the store. I didn't feel excited at all and left after a short time. It might be good for foreigners who don't know much about sake or young people who haven't had much sake before. It felt like a cheap all-you-can-drink izakaya where you can drink as you please. Maybe the store is targeting that demographic. After trying a few types of sake, the flavors became too monotonous and I got bored. They seem to be pushing mixed drinks and beer in the store. It just wasn't my cup of tea. It's a bit disappointing as I entered with high expectations based on good reviews.

I visited KURAND with two friends for unlimited sake drinking. They not only offer a variety of sake, but also fruit liquor for those who don't like sake. They also have beer, shochu, sour cocktails, and miso soup available for unlimited drinking. You can freely move between KURAND and other affiliated stores in the same building, making it three times more enjoyable than other sake drinking places. You can bring your own food, but they also sell food to pair with the drinks. Day drinking costs 2,000 yen for three and a half hours of unlimited drinking, so I would definitely like to visit again! ✨

I found out that there is a similar restaurant in Shinjuku, so I decided to check it out. This place has 3 floors - one dedicated to sake, another offering all-you-can-drink shochu, and the top floor with a wide variety of fruit liquor. It is popular among foreign customers, with some opting to drink beer instead of sake. You can bring your own food and enjoy all-you-can-drink for 3000 yen, making it a great deal. If you post a photo of yourself drinking here on social media, you can even get a free appetizer. The place is lively with a lot of young people, so staying for an unlimited time might be overwhelming. I personally recommend spending about 30 minutes enjoying sake before moving on to the next place. These types of restaurants are likely to continue growing in number, but only a few will remain successful in the end.

Visit date: June 29, 2019 (Saturday) 12:00-16:00 After getting a taste at the now-closed Omiya store, I decided to visit the Shinjuku store this time. While the Omiya store was small, the Shinjuku store boasts 300 types of alcohol - 100 types of sake on the 4th floor, 100 types of plum wine on the 5th floor, and 100 types of shochu on the 6th floor. The store itself was spacious, but the elevator could only fit about 4 people at a time, and the line for the elevator on the 1st floor was quite long. Putting that aside, I started by drinking draft beer on the 5th floor, then waited for my stomach to settle before indulging in various types of sake. After all, 4 hours of all-you-can-drink for 2160 yen including tax... it's unbelievable. Plus, they had sake that I had never seen before. Truly impressive, KURAND. This time, we brought in various foods and drank with 4 people. After beer, we had tai soup with sake, and then tried a variety of sake like Rikei Kyodai, Kyokujitsu Matsuri, and Kado De... Before we knew it, it was already the last order at 3:30 pm, so we sipped on the remaining sake and suddenly found ourselves waking up in our own rooms the next morning. (laughs) I think it's because we had good sake, but surprisingly, no hangover at all. I want to continue to support them in the future. Day drinking starting from noon was great! Thank you very much!

I have visited KURAND SAKE MARKET Ikebukuro store before, and this time I visited the KURAND SAKE MARKET Shinjuku store with a friend who lives closer to Shinjuku. When we arrived, we noticed that this store also has a fruit liquor specialty store "SHUGAR MARKET" on the 5th floor and a shochu specialty store "HAVESPI" on the 6th floor, and you can freely move between them, so you can enjoy about 300 types of alcohol including beer. My friend was satisfied with just sake and beer, so we spent our time on the 4th floor sake floor. There were about 100 types of sake in the fridge, most of which seemed to be developed by the store itself. They were all delicious and many of them had designs that were not typical of sake bottles. In particular, the sake called Aogiri from Hoshofuku Shuzo in Yamagata Prefecture was easy to drink and there were various types to compare, making it fun to try different ones. When we were unsure of what to drink, the staff, who were knowledgeable about sake, recommended some that were easy to understand even for beginners. If you find a sake you like, you can purchase it online right away, and many people buy it for themselves or as gifts. Additionally, this store allows you to bring in your own food, as well as purchase food nearby or order from delivery services like Demae-can or Uber Eats, giving it a high level of freedom that is uncommon in regular restaurants. Time flew by because we were having so much fun, but I definitely want to go again with friends who love sake. There are stores at other stations in Tokyo, so next time I want to try a different location.

Last week, we were impressed with the Sugar Market so this time we visited this Japanese sake-focused place on the 4th floor. The difference this time was that we went with multiple people and brought some snacks with us. This was technically our first time at this shop, but since we can freely move between related floors, it was actually our second visit. They have about 50 different types of Japanese sake and almost 10 fruit wines, along with various mixers like milk, so you can pretty much find everything you need on this floor. You can also bring your own food, and we brought snacks in Tupperware. They provide not only chopsticks, forks, and spoons, but also basic seasonings like soy sauce, sauce, and ketchup. Last time, we couldn't find a seat on this floor so we didn't know much about it, but when we sat down and read the guide, we found out that there are several services you can ask the staff for. This time, we tried the Tai (sea bream) dashi mix, which we drank a lot of. It's like mixing hot sake with instant tai soup, but it has a rich umami flavor which makes it enjoyable. For the tasting, we didn't try many different types this time and stuck with the Gunma sake from Tsuchida Sake Brewery that we liked last time. This sake is smooth with a good finish and versatile. There were also some cherry blossom sakes available, which added to the atmosphere. Of course, we were completely drunk again in 90 minutes. They also have a 30-minute, 1000 yen course so you can get a quick buzz.

It's hard to make a reservation on Fridays, but this place is perfect for enjoying sake with friends. It's 2,000 yen per person for 90 minutes of all-you-can-drink. You can also drink beer, soft drinks, and other alcoholic beverages. There's a FamilyMart nearby, so you can buy drinks there before heading over. I'll definitely be coming back here again!

This is a restaurant in the izakaya district of Shinjuku that offers all-you-can-drink sake (=´∇`=). In addition to sake, they also have shochu and fruit liquor, so you can enjoy trying different drinks. They don't serve food, but you can bring your own, which makes it feel like a home drinking party (lol). If you post on social media, they will bring out some snacks for you! As someone who is not good with alcohol, I enjoyed drinks like soda mixed with ice. So even if you're not a fan of sake, you can still have a good time!

It's a luxury to enjoy my favorite delicacies with my favorite sake. They also have highball with daiginjo and cafe drinks, which can get women excited, and there were quite a few female customers. You can choose your own alcohol, so you can talk to various people while selecting. I was really drunk on the way back, but for some reason, I felt refreshed (lol). I'm thinking of going again.

A friend told me about a place with all-you-can-drink sake a while ago, and I finally made it there! Three of us who love sake gathered at the local time of 8:00 PM. Despite the common belief that young people are moving away from alcohol, the place was bustling with groups of people in their 20s and foreigners. Everyone enjoyed their drinks in a smart and pleasant manner, creating a lively atmosphere. You can order snacks on a cash-on basis, but it seems that bringing your own snacks is also allowed. Other tables had a variety of snacks to enjoy with their sake. There was also a shochu corner on the upper floor, but we were too focused on sake this time! I would like to try shochu next time and bring some delicious snacks to share!

I heard about a place where you can try various types of Japanese sake, so I visited with a friend. We went for lunch on a Sunday and were surprised to find out that we could enjoy it for only 2000 yen, which was a great deal! There were so many different kinds of sake to choose from, but it was helpful that there were papers with information about each brand's origin and a brief description. You can bring your own food, and they provide plates and a microwave, so you can bring pretty much any snack you want without any worries! You are also free to come and go during the allotted time, so there's no need to worry about running out. While I wish there were more well-known sake brands available, I was still very satisfied with discovering many delicious sakes. I highly recommend this place to sake lovers!

After the corona, it was disappointing to see the staff pouring beer without wearing masks and speaking loudly at Shinjuku Sanchome. Honestly, I didn't feel like drinking, but I had to drink because it was all-you-can-drink, otherwise I couldn't order the next one, and it made me cry. Other than that, there were two toilets and the all-you-can-drink system was good, so it was a shame. ★
