Finally, I was able to go! I love tea so I really wanted to try it. The powder without unnecessary bitterness, the cream with just the right amount of sweetness that doesn't stick to your tongue. The cold green tea that is provided for free was also delicious.

The atmosphere was very nice and I was able to relax. The matcha had a deep flavor with just the right amount of bitterness, and it was delicious. The set of sweets was also delicious. The shop sold matcha and pottery, which was very enjoyable to look at.

This is 'Sachou Murozo no Wa Cafe' in Yame City, Fukuoka Prefecture. I always wanted to go but couldn't make it, so I finally went because I wanted to try their strawberry menu. I ordered the Strawberry Special for 1600 yen and the Mont Blanc Monaka Matcha Set for 750 yen. The Mont Blanc had a rich matcha flavor and even had shiratama inside. The Strawberry Special included a shortcake on the left, a daifuku in the middle, and gelato on the right - all delicious. The gelato portion was quite generous, so it's enough to share. Next time, I want to try other matcha series. Thank you for the meal.

I heard that the matcha terrine was delicious, so I ordered it! Even though I'm not a fan of strong sweet flavors, I was able to finish it all. I also ordered a cold herbal tea set, which came with a teapot and a glass with ice. However, I didn't enjoy the ice because it seemed to have absorbed the smell of the freezer. I ended up pouring the tea into a different glass for the second round. My friend ordered tiramisu and parfait, which looked delicious.

Today, I visited a traditional Japanese cafe called "Murozono" in Yame City. I chose the set with Mizu Warabi Mochi and Mitarashi Dango. The Mizu Warabi Mochi was soft and chewy, and the outer layer was excellent. Since it's a tea shop cafe, it's no surprise that the tea and matcha were delicious. Especially, the green tea served as a service at the beginning had a deep flavor, which surprised me. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal. (*´꒳`*)

When I visited, there were many customers. While waiting in the parking lot, a staff member came to call me. It was a very hot day, so the tea they brought out was delicious, and the Kinpoudou they served with it was also great with the bitterness of Yame matcha. It was nice that they offered refills for the tea.

It's a cafe, right? Surrounded by tea fields, and surprisingly, there were no reviews on Tabelog. I didn't expect such a long wait. Before opening, there were already 6 cars lined up. We ordered the strawberry tiramisu and matcha terrine, and were served complimentary rice cakes. They were delicious! They also offered unlimited hot hojicha and cold green tea. The strawberry tiramisu had lots of strawberries for its size, and the fluffy cream underneath was delightful. The matcha terrine was incredibly moist and rich, with a strong matcha flavor. It was quite filling. It was a wonderful cafe where you can enjoy tea sweets in the middle of a tea field!"

Famous for its Yame tea, Yame City is a place I have heard of before, even though I am not very familiar with the geography of Fukuoka Prefecture. I decided to visit Yame City for the first time, traveling 100 kilometers from Kitakyushu City, to enjoy tea and sweets at the tea shop Murono, which offers Yame tea in a "Japanese cafe" style. As expected, when I arrived at the shop, there were tea fields all around, as Yame tea is the specialty of the area. The shop is located near a tea factory, with traditional buildings on one side and the modern and stylish building of Murono on the other. Inside the shop, there is a corner selling Yame tea and dishes, as well as a cafe space with counter seats and tables. The cafe was almost full of female customers, so I chose a seat at the counter. I ordered a Matcha Ice Plate and added a Matcha Pound Cake to go with it, as it was an unexpectedly hot day. While waiting for my order, I was served warm Yame tea and mitarashi dango as a complimentary snack. The Matcha Ice Plate was beautifully presented with two scoops of matcha ice cream, a monaka (wafer cake), yogurt mousse, matcha chocolates, and three dango (sweet rice dumplings) on a plate. The matcha ice cream was deliciously cold and harmonized well with the slight sweetness of the other components. The matcha chocolates were addictive, and the monaka and dango with sweet red bean paste were a nice contrast. The Matcha Pound Cake was moist and rich in matcha flavor with just the right amount of sweetness. I thoroughly enjoyed indulging in matcha today, as I don't have many opportunities to do so. The tea was also delicious, and I realized I forgot to buy some tea for home. I hope to revisit the shop again soon. Thank you for the meal!

On my way back from Nagasaki, I stopped by Yame and visited "Chasho Murozono" which I had been curious about for a while but it was far and I couldn't go. Finally, I made it there! The matcha tiramisu, matcha terrine, and rich matcha ice cream were all delicious with a strong matcha flavor. If you love matcha, I highly recommend going there! I'm curious about the other menu items too... I want to go back again!
