Hachikura Chikugo Store - Yame Departure! Lively and popular izakaya! This day, we visited a local and popular izakaya chain, which is probably the most popular izakaya in the Chikugo and Yame area, right? "Hachikura Chikugo Store" currently has 5 locations including the Yame main store, Chikugo store, Kurume store, Amagi store, and Tosu store. In addition to "Hachikura," the company "Aoki Co., Ltd." also operates "Pasta no Ousama." We visited the Chikugo store this time. Located in Tokkyu, Chikugo City. On Keyaki Street, in front of Sanribo Chikugo. You definitely can't get in without a reservation on weekends. On this day, there were customers without reservations waiting both inside and outside the store. The reason for its popularity is the wide variety of dishes available, each with a clear focus on quality. And, the important "excellence in customer service" in this day and age. The two-story store has a capacity of 130 seats, yet it is always full. Hachikura's 8 commitments: "Rice from contracted farms in Saga," "Charcoal from Miyazaki for grilling," "Soup made from local chicken," "Homemade secret sauce," "Local sake from Yame," "Mellow grilling salt," "Homemade yuzu pepper from Oku-Yame," and "A cup of Yame tea to finish." These may sound like good words, but they are clearly evident throughout the dishes. The first floor of the store has table seating and tatami seating. Orders are placed using a wireless touch terminal for a self-ordering system. The menu, including drinks, has hundreds of items. It's roughly listed on the website, but the menu is also included at the end of this article. First, start with a draft beer! "Crispy potato and lettuce addictive salad" (600 yen) The crispy potatoes are shredded fries, and the contrast between this junkiness and the refreshing lettuce is truly addictive (laughs). About half of it is made up of potatoes, making it a great snack! "Crispy fried shiso-wrapped cheese" (480 yen) The gyoza skin is crispy, and inside it's simple with shiso and cheese. The subtle saltiness and crispy texture are great! "Smoked salmon and cream cheese fresh spring rolls" (480 yen) This is the classic fresh spring roll! The crunchy texture and fresh aroma of the lettuce. The mild salmon, and the refreshing cream cheese. When you bite into it, it's chewy...crunchy! Enjoy the fun texture of fresh spring rolls! The skewers are priced for a set of 2. "Chicken skin with sauce (2 skewers)" (220 yen) Crispy grilled perfection. The fat is removed, leaving a fragrant sauce! "Cheese wiener (2 skewers)" (320 yen) The wieners have finely chopped cheese inside! The surface is crispy and toasted, with a crunchy burst of meat juice when bitten. And melty cheese from the inside. "Pork belly (2 skewers)" (280 yen) The pork belly seemed slightly overcooked. The delicious fat was more than necessary. "Assorted seaweed and lettuce healthy salad" (550 yen) It's full of seaweed! This is an unquestionably healthy salad. Surprisingly, there is also a wide selection of nigiri sushi! "Salmon roe (2 pieces)" (340 yen), "Natto (2 pieces)" (180 yen) I only ordered two types, so I can't say much, but I think the sushi at this izakaya is quite solid! "Grilled pork feet" (250 yen) for 3! Even women seem to be eating pork feet more these days. The surface is crispy and toasted, and the inside has a unique gelatinous texture. Direct collagen intake! Your hands get sticky while eating pork feet, so it's a concentrated effort (laughs). And at this point, the order was delayed, so I ordered this. "Negitoro Yukke" (580 yen) This is a must-try! The fat content is quite good, and the melting texture is delightful. The sesame oil and garlic-flavored sauce is also delicious! I felt like I wanted more rice than alcohol. And for the finish! "Seafood crispy plate udon" (780 yen) The other two were full, so I ate it alone! Surprisingly, it's packed with ingredients and volume! The wasabi on the edge of the plate is authentic. Eating the crispy noodles as they are is good, and dipping them in the sauce makes your mouth happy. Sea ========
