I chose this restaurant for lunch this time because my mentor's art exhibition was nearby, and I wanted to have a meal before going to the exhibition. Even though it was almost the end of lunchtime, they kindly prepared the food for me, and I am grateful for that. I had the "Yakiniku Set" for my meal. While the dinner menu has a lot of seafood options, I think many meat lovers would enjoy yakiniku for lunch. The meat was very substantial and satisfying to eat heartily. There were some parts that were a bit tough to chew, but overall, it was within a satisfying range. The side salad (shredded cabbage) had a good crunch, which I personally like. The spring roll salad had a slightly spicy flavor, making it easy for me to eat. The highlight was the miso soup, which had an unusually large amount of ingredients, making it more like a dish than just soup. It was filled with plenty of wakame seaweed and egg. For 800 yen, it was quite a satisfying meal. The dinner menu has a lot of seafood options, but I would like to visit this restaurant for dinner as well. They also have shochu, including "Sato (black)," which makes me want to try it after a long time. I am looking forward to visiting this restaurant for dinner as well.

During a lunchtime with no plans, I stumbled upon this restaurant I had been curious about, and found out they were serving lunch. While the limited 3 servings of "Beef Ramen with Spicy Soup" caught my eye, I decided to go with the popular "Demiglace Hamburger Set". While waiting for my food, I checked out the dinner menu, which also had recommended fish dishes. After a short wait, my meal arrived - a homemade, hearty hamburger set with rice, miso soup, side dishes, and pickles. It was a stable and satisfying meal. The friendly and cheerful owner made the experience even better. I would love to try other items on the menu and visit again. I am interested in trying the fish dishes for dinner. Thank you for the delicious meal.

May 2020 Purchase, Posted on June 1st (All information is from the time of purchase) (Prices are all tax included) This time's takeout was a daily bento box from a home-style cooking restaurant located along the Hankyu Takatsuki elevated railway. It's a small restaurant with 8 counter seats. For lunch, they offer delicious freshly cooked pot rice with seasonal vegetable bento. They use high-quality free-range chicken eggs. For dinner, they have home-style dishes and delicious drinks available. Lunch is served from 11:00 until sold out, and dinner is served from 17:00 to 21:00. The location is a 3-4 minute walk west from Hankyu Takatsuki-shi Station. And the surprising thing is that it only costs one coin. I bought the following: - Flounder Fry Bento for ¥500: It comes with tuna and kombu mixed rice, which feels like a great deal. The flounder fry, root vegetables and thick fried tofu simmered dish, and a fish stew-like taste. - Simmered Hamburg Bento for ¥500: My family enjoyed it. It was delicious, cheap, and the portion was generous. It's convenient for when you want to eat a home-cooked meal. Visited alone at 7:00 pm. The restaurant has only 8 counter seats. Other than myself, there were two groups of customers, all over 70 years old. The owner's son was helping out. The layout of the tables was improved compared to the previous restaurant that was here, which had tables positioned too high causing inconvenience while dining. This time, they seem to have raised the chairs. For starters, I had broccoli with sesame soy sauce, potato salad, and a dish of burdock leaves and thick fried tofu for 400 yen. It was my first time trying burdock leaves, which had a texture similar to celery with a slight bitterness. The flavor was light and elderly-friendly. I also ordered the omelette made with free-range eggs for 800 yen. It was topped with a sauce made of ketchup and chili sauce mixed with cheese. The eggs seemed to be a specialty of this restaurant, but the strong flavors of the sauce and cheese made it hard to fully appreciate the egg itself. I wanted to order something else, but the menu had limited options, so I started considering going to a different restaurant. I noticed that the food hygiene manager certificate displayed in the restaurant had the owner's date of birth, revealing her age. However, I'll leave it to you to confirm that detail.

I went to eat lunch at ichi Shunsa Gohan, which opened on November 7, 2019! The voluminous Japanese-style bento box that day was an omelette! It was an omelette made with carefully selected eggs! The atmosphere inside the restaurant was cozy, and the staff were also very warm. It was a wonderful restaurant that felt nostalgic even though it was my first time there!

The grilled chicken, side dishes, and sashimi are all excellent. It would be even better if they had a variety of shochu and sake.
