Vitamin Mail collaboration donuts. There wasn't a line, so I decided to try it out, but oh no, they were out of heart-shaped ones when I got there. The cocoa flavor was really strong. It wasn't what I wanted to eat, so I was a bit disappointed. Chocolat Noir Noisette 200 yen excluding tax.

I visited the Mister Donut Life Namba Shop in search of the autumn tradition "Sweet Potato Doughnut," but unfortunately it was sold out. However, I didn't want to leave empty-handed so I purchased two Halloween limited edition items: the "Fluffy Ghost French Cruller" and the "Fluffy Mummy." The Ghost Doughnut is a cute doughnut with a ghost hand made of whipped cream on top of a white chocolate coating. The Mummy Doughnut is a fluffy yeast doughnut with a whipped cream mummy design coated in strawberry chocolate, with charming chocolate eyes. They were delicious. Thank you for the meal. I will strive on the path ahead without regrets.

▽Honey Dip 118 yen▽ (June 2021)
A simple donut with glaze coating on the surface of the dough. The fluffy dough and sweet glaze give it a nostalgic feel.
▽Custard Cream 140 yen▽ (June 2021)
The sugar-coated donut has a simple taste and a crisp texture. It is filled with smooth custard cream with just the right amount of sweetness.
▼Impressions▼ (June 2021)
Mister Donut is a donut chain founded in the United States and introduced to Japan by Duskin in 1970. It has since expanded nationwide through franchise stores. Although it has been merged into Dunkin' Donuts in the United States, it remains a popular donut chain in Japan. The store in Life Central Square Namba offers a variety of delicious donuts. The ones I tried were classic and tasty. I would definitely visit again if I have the chance.

I heard that the collaboration items with "Pierre Marcolini" are popular and I have always wanted to try them. The poster of Masaki Suda was impressive. The shop "Life Namba Shop" also had a long line, so I was waiting for a chance. Today, when I passed by, there were only about 3 people, so I decided to join the line. I chose the "Fondant Chocolat Donut [Chocolate + Raspberry]" (432 yen) from the 6 "Pierre Marcolini" items available. Oh, this is no longer just a donut. It was quite heavy and sweet. The cream in the rich dough had a strong presence. It had a satisfying texture and was delicious. Thank you for the meal. Let's continue to strive on the path we take, so we can end without regrets.

This winter, there is a collaboration with Pierre Hermé!! I was interested to see what kind of donuts they have, so I purchased three. They are based on the donuts in the store, with fruit sauce sandwiched in between, giving a fruity taste. I am looking forward to the next collaboration.

Collaboration with Pierre Hermé, the master of the world, got me so excited that I couldn't wait and headed to the store with a cafe. The staff kindly smiled and helped me with my smartphone payment. I tried the Pon de Ispahan (¥180) and it had a scent of lipstick... I've tried both Hermé's macaron and Ispahan before, but this was completely different. The cream was lacking, the Pon de was a bit dry, and the chocolate coating had no taste. I think I prefer the regular Pon de from Mister Donut. I also tried the Carême Chocolat (¥220), the last one left. The crunchy chocolate coating was good, but the taste and scent of the dough and cream were vague. It was nothing like Hermé's chocolate. Maybe I had too high expectations. Mister Donut's pricing is for donuts, so maybe they have limited ingredients to work with. If that's the case, I wish they would stick to their usual Mister Donut flavors. Mister Donut has been loved for years for its classic deliciousness. I love the Old Fashioned, Angel French, and Meat Pie! It feels like they just collaborated with Hermé for the sake of publicity. Both ended up being mediocre, which is really disappointing. *Please note that this is just my personal bias. I believe Mister Donut is working hard to keep their long-time fans satisfied. I apologize for speaking so arrogantly without understanding the Mister Donut-style twist.

I went to buy an Old Fashioned for 110 yen and a Pondering for 100 yen, but they were out, so I got this instead. It's a classic flavor that needs no explanation. To avoid being sent back for revisions due to pressure from various sources, I have minimized the logs since June 2019. Please just look at the image. Visited for a late-night snack in early November 2019. Delicious! Pecca! Yum!

Here is a Mister Donut located inside a Life supermarket near JR Namba Station. I always knew it was there, but never really had the chance to buy donuts, so I always just admired them. Mister Donut seems to be popular everywhere, right? I wonder if more people prefer it over Krispy Kreme. Actually, I don't have much experience with Mister Donut, just stopped by after school once. I've always admired it. Donuts have been said to contain trans fats, so I've been avoiding them, but recently, they've become my new obsession. One day, I suggested having donuts as a late-night snack. I barely made it to this place just before closing time. Managed to buy some, but even though it wasn't a 100 yen sale, there weren't many donuts left. Anyway, I got what was available: Old Fashioned Cinnamon, Old Fashioned Strawberry Glazed, Old Fashioned Chocolate Glazed, some kind of Strawberry Chocolate Glazed, White Chocolate Glazed, Coconut Chocolate, Golden Chocolate, and Pon de Uji Matcha Azuki. Each one made me feel nostalgic and brought back memories of my teenage years. These classic donuts are truly the best. I feel like I've recharged myself with Mister Donut for the next few decades. It's a wonderful feeling to indulge in these donuts that I've always admired. I wonder if Mister Donut is only in Japan, as I haven't seen it overseas. #MisterDonut #AteThemAll #Donuts #MyObsession #Junkie #ImFree #NotInAnIceCountryButInTheSavannah #LionInTheSavannahAlone.

In the morning, I had udon noodles and then I wanted to have tapioca mango orange or strawberry soda around 10:00. Unfortunately, they didn't have tapioca drinks available. I ended up getting an Uji matcha Tiramisu danish to take away. The staff told me that the Namba Walk store carries tapioca drinks, so I walked there. However, they were out of mango orange and they didn't have strawberry soda. I was disappointed and left feeling sad.

Mister Donut has collaborated with the Uji tea specialty store "Gion Tsujiri" to release a limited-time donut called "Matcha Sweets Premium" starting from April 5, 2019. There are five different types of sweets combining Gion Tsujiri's high-quality Uji matcha with Western ingredients. The most popular one, Mascarpone, was already sold out when I tried to buy it. The Pon de Double Uji Matcha (151 yen) has Uji matcha kneaded into the dough and is coated with Uji matcha chocolate. The chewy texture, matcha aroma, and flavor are irresistible for matcha lovers. The Old Fashioned Honey (129 yen) has a nice, solid sweetness. The sales are expected to end in mid-June.

When staying in Osaka on a business trip, I usually stay at the hotel owned by my company, so it's free. I often stay there for business trips, so I know the staff well. Every evening when I return, I buy small souvenirs like takoyaki or pork buns. However, on this particular day, I was running late. To my surprise, Mister Donut was still open nearby! There's no need to explain the taste of Mister Donut as almost everyone knows it. The taste was the same as usual, so no comments on that. I bought two for myself and seven for the staff at the front desk. The souvenirs were all priced at 108 yen each, while the ones for myself were in the 120 and 140 yen range. At the checkout, I was informed that items under 140 yen were 5 for 500 yen at the moment. Lucky me! I asked for the 5 souvenirs to be packed separately and requested two more to take advantage of the offer. I ended up spending over 1000 yen, as the 5 for 500 yen deal only applied to the 108 yen items and the others were charged at regular price. This made me question the management philosophy of the company behind Mister Donut, as they claim to prioritize loss prevention over profit in their business practices. Despite their emphasis on "prayerful management," the experience left me feeling dissatisfied and questioning their commitment to their own principles. The lack of transparency in pricing and failure to communicate effectively with customers has undermined my trust in the brand.

Today, I went to Namba for some errands. After stopping by the large bookstore Junkudo, I got hungry so I went to Mister Donut in the basement of Life. I saw that they had surpassed 2 billion Pon de Rings sold, so they were offering 10 varieties including Pon de Ring for only 100 yen each. They sold 2.4 billion Pon de Rings by the end of August, which means each person in Japan bought over 20 of them. Quite an impressive number! My favorite donut at Mister Donut is the Pon de Ring. The usual price of 140-150 yen was now only 100 yen (including tax), which was a pleasant surprise. I tried the Azuki Pon de Ring on the spot. The chewy dough with sweet red bean paste filling had a nice texture, topped with soybean flour for extra sweetness. For souvenirs, I bought the regular Pon de Ring and Angel Cream. I enjoyed the Pon de Ring at home after dinner, savoring the chewy texture once again. Both noodles (especially udon) and donuts with a chewy texture are delightful. The 100 yen sale is until Tuesday, October 20th, so hurry up! Sorry for the review that sounds like a Mister Donut advertisement! ===========

A few days ago, I had a strong craving for Mister Donut's croissant doughnut, so I decided to visit the store. Unfortunately, when I got there, there was only one new product left. It was the Cherry Cheese Cream Whip for 194 yen. There was also only one old product left, the Chocolate & Custard Whip for 194 yen, as well as a few chocolate doughnuts on sale for 100 yen. The Cherry Cheese Cream Whip had a unique flavor with cheese cream and not too sweet cherries, which I really liked. I will try my luck at a different Mister Donut next time.

In the supermarket Life directly connected to Namba Station, there is a Mister Donut right in front after passing the register. I couldn't help but buy some (laughs). I got a chocolate donut coated with lemon-flavored chocolate and a pon de ring. The taste is consistent no matter where you go in the country. I enjoyed them as a snack at the hotel where I was staying.

I ordered the Crant Ring Golden and the Mister Donut Premium Hot Cafe Au Lait. The Crant Ring Golden is a soft cake donut with a vanilla flavor, topped generously with crispy golden topping. When you eat it, the golden topping falls off the plate. It is quite sweet, so I regretted not ordering coffee and instead opting for the Mister Donut Premium Hot Cafe Au Lait, which has a sweet taste even without adding sugar.

It's been a while since I've been to Mister Donut. They don't seem to have many TV commercials, but they keep coming up with new campaigns. On this particular day, they had a "Chocolate & Banana Fair" where chocolate and banana items were only 100 yen each. The banana donut, in particular, was a unique item. Shaped like a banana, it was an old-fashioned style donut which was quite interesting. I tried the Chocolate Banana Fashion and found the banana cream coating to be as expected but interesting. They also had a summer limited edition item called the "Pururun Pondering" endorsed by Matsuko Deluxe. It's a donut with a layer of bracken rice cake on top. I chose the peach flavor and it had a very bouncy texture. It could have been a bit colder. The taste was like "peach juice". Whether it's banana or peach, the flavors seemed slightly artificial rather than natural fruit juice, so I couldn't help but think the target audience might be children. However, I thought the idea was good this time.

I had a donut as a treat for the first time in a while! It was not a new version, but a classic item that has been around for a long time! I can't remember the name, but I think it was an Old Fashioned. It was really simple and good. However, it was sweeter than I expected, and I have a feeling it's high in calories and quite filling after eating it. It has a weight that doesn't feel like a snack, so it would be good for a meal too.
