Today, I didn't feel very hungry, but after taking a bite of the tuna, my appetite suddenly kicked in. I ended up eating a lot in the end. I had seared eel, two plates of salmon, two plates of tuna, squid, octopus, and miso soup. The total bill for today was ¥1650. It's always delicious whenever I come here!

I was taken to the restaurant by my junior. We decided to go right after it opened for dinner because there was always a long line at lunchtime. It seems they have a unique way of eating, starting with the squid legs. Why? Let's just go along with it (laughs). Since I'm not a big fan of sushi, I tried the vinegar oysters and the eel roll as side dishes. They were delicious! Their recommendation was the eel, which was both filling and tasty.

I was able to line up and enter for the first time for lunch on Saturday at 12:30 for 30 minutes. This time, I had dashi for the first time. I had the impression that red miso soup is strong, but Morioka's red miso soup had a strong dashi flavor and was delicious. What I ate this time: eel, grilled eel, 2 plates of oysters, kanpachi, tuna, salmon rolls, striped jack, and red miso soup. The total bill was ¥2970. It was so delicious that even though I was full, I couldn't stop eating.

Second visit. Last time, I couldn't eat much because I was already full, but this time I enjoyed the big, satisfying oysters. The scallops were sweet and voluminous. The sea urchin, which wasn't available last time, was expensive at 1000 yen but had a rich and sweet taste. The squid was tender and sweet. The salmon and tuna were cheap and delicious. The grilled eel was as expected, not disappointing. I had to skip the eel today because I went for seconds on oysters. All this cost around 2500 yen. I'll be back soon. Thank you for the meal.

I had been curious about Morio Sushi, where people were lining up before the store even opened. Finally, I went there for lunch the other day. The tuna was only ¥100 as part of the lunch special! The seared eel was ¥600 and came in a generous portion. The eel is priced the same as it is for dinner. It was truly delicious and I will definitely be coming back. I was a bit hesitant because I didn't know the prices, but for the seared eel, salmon, horse mackerel, tuna, and medium fatty tuna, it was around ¥2520. It would be reassuring to have a lunch price list available for easier ordering.

Visit date and time: 12:50 on Saturday Waiting time: None Menu: A la carte I visited a sushi restaurant that is rumored to be cheap and delicious. The sign outside advertised plates starting at 108 yen, but the menu inside started at 200 yen. They make efforts to keep prices low by serving half portions of shrimp, for example. My favorite dish was the eel. It was a large piece of eel and incredibly delicious. I must order it again next time. As shown in the photo, my friend and I tried a variety of dishes, and the total cost was in the 3,000 yen range, which is great value for money. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal.

Morio Sushi I stopped by after visiting Nagai Park! The restaurant is small, with about 10 seats at the counter. On this day, they had quite a limited selection of sushi, but the master and the hostess were amazing!!! I brought my child along, and they were incredibly kind and attentive! The sushi had generous portions, and the tuna and shrimp were delicious. The ark shell and crab were also great. The cost performance is good, and I will definitely be a repeat customer! I've always wanted to go to this sushi restaurant. The staff are friendly and welcoming, making you want to become a regular. There isn't a traditional menu, so I was a bit nervous about ordering, but the prices are reasonable for lunch, with items ranging from 100 to 200 yen, so it felt reassuring. The sushi is not on a conveyor belt, instead they make it right in front of you at the counter, giving you a sense of luxury. The items I tried were: 100 yen items - tuna, squid, eel, salmon. 200 yen items - simmered eel, egg, amberjack. I particularly enjoyed the tender squid, flavorful simmered eel, and the egg that I know I'll definitely order again. This was my first time really liking egg sushi. It was truly delicious. Next time, I want to try the battleship sushi or soup, rolls, and the seared eel that the person next to me ordered. I've found my new favorite restaurant! Thank you for the meal.

When you enter the restaurant, the owner and his wife greet you with a smile. Everything you eat is delicious, but I'll keep it a secret so it doesn't get crowded. There is a menu that only regulars know about, and it's the best value sushi.

I visited during lunchtime! The restaurant has only counter seats, so I was relieved to find a seat! The grilled eel was said to be delicious but was sold out! However, the tuna was also delicious and satisfying!

Eating only 100 yen items might be cheap. However, it's hard to tell if they are open or not.

I've been passing by this sushi restaurant that has been around for 55 years, but I had never been inside. After reading a comment on Tabelog saying that the prices were similar to conveyor belt sushi, I decided to try it out last night. It was incredibly delicious! I love shellfish, so I tried the ark shell, scallop, and tsubugai (whelk) at the chef's recommendation. The tsubugai was amazing! It had a crunchy texture almost like abalone. I ended up ordering another plate. I also had 6 glasses of sweet potato shochu with water and 4 plates of sushi. I still drink too much alcohol as usual!

A cozy sushi restaurant run by a parent and child, with only a counter and about 10 seats. The atmosphere is extremely welcoming, and the sushi here is truly delicious! But that's not all! If you think about it, it's quite surprising for a non-conveyor belt sushi restaurant like this to be frequented by a poor office lady like me. However, at "Morioka Sushi," I can afford to come here every week! During lunchtime, all items on the menu are priced surprisingly low. All plates (2 pieces) are only 100 yen each! Items like salmon, tuna, squid, octopus, shrimp, sea bream, yellowtail, eel, horse mackerel, and rolled omelette are all available, and they are made fresh to order. The freshness of the ingredients is top-notch. Despite being so delicious, you may wonder why the prices are so low. A friend recommended this place to me, and I found out that they serve leftover ingredients from the previous day at a greatly reduced price for lunch the next day. Even though they are leftovers, the freshness is outstanding! If it's this good the next day, imagine how fresh it must be if you eat it on the same day! Some items may cost 200 or 300 yen, like simmered conger eel or ark shell. However, being able to enjoy these items at such prices is pure happiness! I ordered my favorite, seared eel, which costs 400 yen for one piece. The thickness of the eel and the smoky flavor for 400 yen is pure luxury. A small red miso soup is also only 100 yen. The payment system is based on the plates, with 100 yen plates and higher-priced plates distinguished by their shape and pattern. I usually end up spending around 1000 to 1500 yen when I have a beer with sushi, and on days without beer, it's around 700 to 800 yen. The restaurant is closed on Mondays, and lunch is served from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm. It's advisable to go early to ensure your favorite items are not sold out. The friendly banter between the parent and child owners adds to the enjoyable dining experience. Additionally, there are hidden menu items like seafood bowls, so don't hesitate to ask about them. You can also customize your order by choosing sushi with seaweed or as a battleship roll. By observing the orders of regular customers, I learn something new each time I visit. Personally, I give it five stars! Please note that there is no parking lot, so you will need to find a nearby parking area.

Cheap and delicious. During the day, almost every dish is 100 yen, much tastier than regular conveyor belt sushi! I want to try the evening menu next time.

The take-out sushi for 1500 yen is all fresh and has a great size, very satisfying! After eating sushi here, other sushi places will feel lacking.
