Today, I went to Yabu Coffee as usual to buy my favorite coffee beans, "Mocha Blend," which costs 820 yen for 200g. I also decided to purchase the Kopi Luwak drip pack that I had been curious about. This is the same coffee that Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman enjoyed in the movie "The Bucket List." The Kopi Luwak drip pack costs 800 yen for one cup. When I got home and tried it, I found the taste to be very refreshing and delicious. It had a slightly unique acidity, which I assume comes from the civet cat process, but overall it was smooth and of high quality. I had always wanted to try it, but buying 200g of beans would cost 11,000 yen, which is a bit expensive for me. However, the drip pack is more affordable. The location is in a deep area of Osaka, but the shop has a stylish atmosphere and specializes in selling coffee beans. The unique feature of this shop is that they roast the beans based on your order. This was the first time I encountered a shop with this system. On this day, I ordered the following: Velacruz Slippy 960 yen/200g (excluding tax), Yabu Coffee Blend 810 yen/200g (excluding tax), and Brazil Chocolat 950 yen/200g (excluding tax), which are the top 3 popular items. Each bean is roasted separately on the spot, which is amazing! There are a total of 4 roasting machines installed. The variety of beans is also impressive, ranging from Kona coffee to Geisha and even Kopi Luwak! I will enjoy them at home. Today's review is about Yabu Coffee. I had been passing by this place many times and was curious about it. The interior of the shop is clean, bright, and stylish. The lunch menu consists of a daily special one-plate dish and a curry set. The one-plate dish comes with soup and a drink. This time, I had the curry set, which also includes salad and a drink. I like curry but I'm not a fan of spicy food, so I asked for it to be adjusted with an egg, which turned out to be just right. Even though eggs were not on the menu, they kindly accommodated my request. The curry was well-cooked and delicious. I would like to try the one-plate dish next time, so I definitely want to visit again.

In the morning local TV show, there was a cafe called Yabu Coffee that I've been wanting to visit since seeing it on TV. I purchased the Brazil Chocola cold brew coffee, which is popular among women. It has a slightly sweet aroma, not like flavored coffee with sugar. When I got home, I made it in a pot from the store and it turned out to be delicious iced coffee. It was refreshing, not too sweet, and easy to drink without needing sugar or cream. I had the impression that this type of cold brew coffee with sweet beans might taste watery, but it was not the case. It had a good balance of flavor and was enjoyable. The packaging is cute and it could make a nice gift as well!
