First visit. The interior is long and narrow, creating a calming atmosphere. A female staff member quickly asked, "Would you like a knee blanket?" which was a thoughtful gesture. When ordering, the staff was friendly and when I mentioned that I like sake (although I didn't have any that day), they recommended a great sake shop where I could buy delicious sake. We had a private room and had a nice conversation. The main dish, okonomiyaki, was prepared in a pot and we just had to warm it at our table. It looked great and the meat was tender and satisfying. For dessert, we had black sesame monaka, which was absolutely delicious! Both the food and service were excellent and I am very satisfied!!!

I went to this restaurant because an acquaintance recommended it. The interior of the restaurant is a bit like an izakaya. They offer both shabu-shabu and sukiyaki, but this time I chose shabu-shabu. The meat looked really nice. We cooked it in the pot and it was not too tough or too soft, just the right texture. The meat didn't melt in your mouth, but it was still good. If the interior of the restaurant had a bit more of a luxurious feel, it could be a good place for business entertainment. I would like to try the sukiyaki next time.

It was a group, so we indulged in luxurious shabu-shabu & sukiyaki! There are also private rooms with sunken kotatsu, so you can relax. It's great for a quiet date, but also recommended for year-end parties, New Year's parties, and welcome/farewell parties! Dinner 17:30-23:00 (L.O. 22:00, drink L.O. 22:30) Mon-Sat 17:30-23:00 Closed on Sundays for the time being. Closed on Sundays and other days (November 21, 2022). Once a month, there is a consecutive holiday (Sun, Mon).

I used it for a drinking party. I received a set of Saga beef sukiyaki. I thought it was a sukiyaki restaurant with a good balance of taste, quantity, and price. When it comes to sukiyaki, there is an image that the price is a bit high and the amount of meat is not enough in many stores. The amount of meat and vegetables is sufficient and satisfying. The taste is also good. The seats are spacious and the interior is relatively quiet. It would be perfect for a relaxing drinking party with 2-4 people. However, this is just my opinion, but sukiyaki may not be suitable for a drinking party where you can't focus too much on eating. You might miss the timing to eat.

I was planning to have steak in Hakata, but couldn't go to the original restaurant I had in mind... so I visited a specialty shop for Saga beef. I ordered a course with steak and sukiyaki! It was a meat lover's dream. I started with a salad and then the steak arrived. Of course, it was sirloin. It was tender, rich in flavor, and simply perfect. And then, the main dish, sukiyaki! Look at that marbling (lol). Each slice was large and tender. Needless to say, it was delicious. It went so well with raw egg, and I ended up ordering more meat. I think it was 180g... The restaurant wasn't crowded and the staff were very polite. Highly recommended!

I wanted to celebrate a special occasion by going out to eat something delicious, so I decided that I wanted to have some tasty meat. I was taken to a high-end sukiyaki and shabu-shabu restaurant called "Kuroya" in Nishinakasu. This restaurant offers delicious Saga beef. I chose the 7,800 yen shabu-shabu course which includes 180 grams of Saga beef. The course included appetizers, Saga beef sashimi, salad, Saga beef shabu-shabu, choice of porridge or udon, and dessert. The appetizer platter was ordinary, but I enjoyed it despite the current trend of avoiding raw meat. The Saga beef sashimi was fatty and delicious, melting in my mouth with a sweet flavor. The highly anticipated Saga beef shabu-shabu was incredibly high-quality and beautifully presented. The meat was so tender and flavorful, surpassing my expectations. I even ordered additional meat, paying around 7,000 yen for 180 grams. The quality of the meat justified the price, and I left the restaurant feeling satisfied after enjoying a total of 360 grams of meat. I visited this restaurant because I wanted to eat Kansai-style sukiyaki. It is located near Nakasu, and when you enter the restaurant, you feel a calm atmosphere. The restaurant seems to prioritize tranquility rather than emphasizing luxury. This time, I had the "Special Selection Kuroya Sukiyaki Course (130g)" for 7800 yen per person. You can also choose the "Kanto-style" sukiyaki, but I chose the "Kansai-style" as originally intended. The pot, which had been cooked in the kitchen at the back, was placed in front of us. This aspect may divide opinions. The Kansai-style sukiyaki allows you to savor the taste of the meat first, and I was curious to see how well they could bring out the flavor of the meat. The meat was tender, not overly seasoned, and I could taste the umami of the meat. The vegetables also harmonized well with the meat, and I was full and satisfied. The light lemon sherbet served at the end was impressive. ■ On a holiday, Nakasu was deserted with hardly any people around, and naturally most of the shops were closed. Despite this, I decided to visit a restaurant called "Kuroya" that had caught my attention. It is located just a short walk from Nakasu, heading towards Tenjin on the Kokutai Road, right after crossing the Haruyoshi Bridge. The interior of the restaurant has a calm atmosphere with tables and a raised tatami seating area. Despite there being only one group of customers, the ambiance made it enjoyable to have a meal. ■ Looking at the menu, there were various Sukiyaki options featuring Saga beef. I chose to order the special Saga beef course from the menu. Among the choices available, I selected the course that offered the highest quality meat. ■ Starting with the appetizers, a salad was served. It was accompanied by vegetables and eggs to be enjoyed with the meat. Then, the highlight of the meal arrived - four thinly sliced pieces of Saga beef loin. The marbling on the meat indicated its high quality. ■ I chose to enjoy the meat in the Kanto style, similar to Shabu-Shabu. I warmed up the broth in the pot and dipped the meat slices into it. The meat quickly cooked, changing color, and I savored it in my mouth. The meat was incredibly tender, with the fat melting away, leaving a rich flavor in my mouth. ■ The next step was to dip the meat in beaten egg. This method added a mild flavor to the meat, enhancing its taste with the sweetness of the egg yolk. I later found out that the eggs used in this restaurant were known as "Japan's most dedicated eggs," with a rich and vibrant yolk color. ■ I then simmered the vegetables in the broth for a while, including Chinese cabbage, leeks, carrots, and white konjac. Enjoying the meat-infused vegetables was a different kind of delight for my taste buds. ■ As I continued, I finished the remaining meat, feeling fully satisfied with the meal. A lemon sorbet was served as a refreshing dessert, cleansing my palate. ■ The service at the restaurant was excellent, with the staff paying attention to the cooking process and ensuring that the high-quality ingredients were enjoyed to the fullest. ■ Despite the meat portion being just right, leaving me comfortably full, the focus on savoring each bite led to a highly satisfying dining experience. In areas like Nishinakajima and Yakuin, you often see sukiyaki and shabu-shabu restaurants. The meat comes frozen and still frozen when served. The appetizers are not very appetizing, more like cheap izakaya quality. The salad looks like it has been sitting out for a while with discolored edges on the vegetables. They also serve beef sashimi, but it's frozen and too cold to really enjoy the flavor. The meat comes in different price ranges, but none of them taste good. It's like a family restaurant with a bit of a downgrade. I won't be going back.

This time, I entertained the president of a dealership in Fukuoka. Since he is actually a senior colleague from the company, I didn't have to worry too much. We have been to "Teraoka" together twice before, but this time he mentioned that he wanted good meat, so I found this restaurant online. We ordered the Saga beef sukiyaki course. In addition to sukiyaki, it came with Saga beef grilled on a net and Iwate pork sausages. The sukiyaki was rich, tender, and absolutely delicious. Each person gets 180g, so the portion was generous. The tofu soaked in the flavorful broth and the delicious udon for finishing were also amazing. I would say the quality is on par with Imahan. The price was cheaper compared to Imahan. Initially, I was planning to go to "Gyusha Nakahara," but they are closed on Mondays. Nakahara also serves sukiyaki, but it's more known for their steaks. It was also incredibly delicious though. There are so many great restaurants in Hakata!

I visited this restaurant after seeing it multiple times in magazines. I was disappointed for a few reasons. Despite the high prices, there was no bell to call the staff. You have to call out loudly for them to come. Also, they didn't cook the sukiyaki in front of us, instead they brought out a pot of vegetables already cooked. I was expecting the meat to be cooked in front of me at a high-end sukiyaki restaurant. The quality of the meat was good, but I was still disappointed. If I want sukiyaki in the future, I will go to a different restaurant.

I was looking for a place to eat and was drawn to a message advertisement, so I made a reservation. I initially called the Yakuin store but the service was a bit strange so I decided not to go there. I ordered the Special Saga Beef Sukiyaki Course, 130g, for 7500 yen. First, I had a three kinds of appetizers which were okay. Then came the salad, which was average. Next was the beef sashimi, which looked delicious and tasted great. The main dish was the sukiyaki, which I was eagerly awaiting and it did not disappoint. It looked beautiful and tasted amazing, definitely worth the price. The meat was about 80% cooked. After that, they added udon noodles. For dessert, I had ice cream with matcha and yuzu flavors. I also had two beers which brought the total to 16700 yen. If you skip the course and just order the sukiyaki, it might be a bit cheaper. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

After the meal, we enjoyed some sherbet. The staff at the restaurant were attentive, making it easy for first-time visitors to enjoy their meal without any worries. It's a perfect place for a luxurious treat once in a while.

A friend came back from out of town and wanted to eat sukiyaki for some reason, so we did some research and ended up at this restaurant... (I actually wanted to go to Chinya, but it was closed...) We ordered a sukiyaki course for about 6,000 yen. There were four of us and we added more meat halfway through. The food was satisfying. However, when we got the bill, it was 40,000 yen. Yes, we added more meat, but it was only half the amount of the course... The course was around 25,000 yen. We also had some drinks, but I don't understand why it came to 40,000 yen. (The additional amount was not written down...) It might be better to ask about the price before adding anything when you go there...

I had the 130g course of Saga beef sukiyaki. This was my first time eating sukiyaki at a restaurant, so I don't have anything to compare it to, but honestly, it was more delicious than eating it at home. The portion size of the 130g course was just right, leaving me comfortably full. If I wanted more, I could order additional meat or vegetables separately. The staff at the restaurant were very helpful. They taught us the best time to eat the meat, adjusted the heat for us, and even brought us seasoned eggs to try alongside the regular eggs. The restaurant is located along a main street, making it easy to find. The parking fees in the area are high, but it's definitely worth visiting this restaurant. If you're thinking of going to a sukiyaki restaurant, consider going to this one.
