Enjoying the view of the winter rock wall while warming up with a delicious bowl of ramen at Tempozan Harbor Village. I was debating between soy sauce ramen and tonkotsu, but ended up ordering tonkotsu since the people in front of me did too. It took a bit of time, but it was worth it. Next time, I'll have to try the motsunabe-style horumon ramen since I'm in Kansai. Heading to the Kaiyukan before heading home!

During the long weekend, the Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan was very crowded. Even the eating area had long lines, so we decided to get a buzzer from the relatively quiet ramen shop "Kurasada" and bought some light snacks. The chicken karaage (5 pieces for 400 yen) was crispy and flavorful. We also tried the melon soft serve ice cream, which tasted surprisingly delicious in that setting. It was a great meal!

I had the simplest soy sauce ramen. Lately, there has been a trend of fancy, elaborate soups with chewy, translucent noodles, but this ramen has simple, straight, slightly chewy noodles similar to those from Kyushu. In the recent ramen boom, customers tend to prefer sweet or thick broths, but this ramen has a well-balanced flavor and provides a sense of comfort. The only thing that could be improved is the noodle's texture - a bit more springiness would be nice. Interestingly, the service is provided by a guy wearing a cowboy hat. Enjoying a simple soy sauce ramen while looking at the sea is a nice experience. It's always good to have some soup when you feel like it. Thank you for the meal.

This is a ramen shop located in the Food Court at Tempozan Market Place. It is conveniently located for those visiting the Kaiyukan aquarium. The soy sauce ramen costs 680 yen, which is a reasonable price. I ordered the soy sauce ramen this time and it was ready in about 5 minutes. The taste was just average, with a strong flavor of common Chinese seasoning that you can find in stores. The toppings included one slice of chashu pork, menma (bamboo shoots), one narutomaki (fish cake), nori (seaweed), and green onions. Many Chinese and international visitors were enjoying their meals there.

On a certain holiday, my family visited Tempozan. After enjoying a boat ride on the Santa Maria, we decided to have lunch at the food court here. We wanted to try some Osaka-style food, but we chose the ramen shop closest to our table. Everyone except me ordered a set of ramen and mini fried rice, and they were served one after another in no time. When I tried to carry them, they separated the heavy ramen bowl tray from the light mini fried rice tray. This thoughtful gesture added an extra star to the experience. The ramen at the food court was not exceptionally delicious but had a consistent taste. Most importantly, we were grateful to have lunch at the crowded food court. We also appreciated the 50 yen discount on bottled drinks when ordering a meal (almost the standard price). Thank you for the meal.

I had lunch at Tempozan Market Place♡ It was really crowded, even though it was a weekday. Most of the people seemed to be tourists from overseas. It was hard to find a seat in the food court. I found a ramen shop and ordered a pork bone ramen for 700 yen. The shop is the main branch of the Musashi group. The soup is a double soup made of chicken bone and pork bone as the main ingredients, and bonito flakes and dried sardines. According to their website, it's the taste of the Musashi main store's two-sword soup. However, in my opinion, it tasted like instant ramen, too light and the noodles were soft. Despite the disappointing taste, I will now head to Tempozan for some Pokemon GO. Thank you for the meal~٩(๑´0`๑)۶Ⓟ

Soy Sauce Ramen (Chicken Broth + Soy Sauce 580 yen) ★★★ The soup is a soy sauce flavor based on chicken broth. The noodles are medium-thin straight noodles. The toppings include sliced pork chashu, green onions, menma, naruto, and seaweed. The soup, made from chicken broth with a moderate amount of oil added, has a slightly sour flavor and a light finish. The thick slice of chashu pork is seasoned just right. The restaurant also offers other ramen options such as salt ramen, tonkotsu ramen, shrimp salt ramen, miso ramen, chashu noodles, and special ramen. Additional toppings like extra chashu or gyoza are available for an extra charge.

This is ramen from a food court. It is safe to say that it may not be satisfying for those who like ramen with strong attention to detail.
