On this day, I visited "Shabu Ha Kitakyushu Hirano Store" on a whim.

This shabu shabu restaurant is located in Hirano, Higashi-ku, Kitakyushu City. It is operated by the major restaurant group, Skylark, and is a shabu shabu specialty store originating from Yokohama. This store is a standalone large store, not a tenant outlet.

There are probably around 100 seats.
◇Menu Structure
Various courses are available, with different types of meat depending on the price. The basic option is a two-color hot pot, but for an additional fee, a four-color option is available, with all-you-can-drink included. The order I placed was as follows:
- Exquisite Beef Tongue All-You-Can-Eat Course (3,849 yen) → Tax included. The order time is 100 minutes. This is the second-highest course at Shabu Ha, but without going into detailed reviews, it's best to say that it's as you would imagine... I focused on how to eat it deliciously. I'm not really concerned about quantity and "let's get our money's worth!" is not my mindset. I pursue originality... As a result, I used yuzu salt broth for the hot pot. I added udon noodles and cooked them until they were just right, then transferred them to a plate with a small amount of broth. Finally, I added curry to make curry udon. To be honest, it was the most delicious thing today. It was better than anything else.

I hope this review wasn't too critical. According to information from someone who has worked in the kitchen at this restaurant, "This restaurant is very clean!" Well, I hope that's a given, but it's a bit tough that even the alcohol all-you-can-drink is self-service. Moreover, for a chain shabu shabu specialty store, the challenge is where to differentiate... The downside of this restaurant is that there are no sauces like ponzu on the table. In the end, this causes lines to form and becomes a waste of time. It's a bit of a hassle, so it might be better to have them on the table. Thank you for the meal.
