Near Fukuoka Airport, my friend took me to a shocking yakitori restaurant. Despite having made a reservation, the place was packed. I was expecting a typical yakitori place, but was pleasantly surprised by the delicious sand liver, tsukune, and negima skewers. The seasoning and juiciness were outstanding. Although not yakitori, the pork belly was also incredibly tasty. The restaurant seems to be gaining popularity with TV coverage, making it difficult to visit, but I definitely want to go back.

I came back to Fukuoka and stopped by Shiramizu while waiting for the bus. The fact that they serve my favorite squid tempura as an appetizer already makes this place stand out! I ordered a sashimi platter, chicken wings, and a shochu soda. I also tried the chicken wings with mentaiko and octopus, and I really liked the combination! The shochu was strong and satisfying.

The closest yakitori restaurant to Fukuoka Airport. It's just a 1-minute walk to the south of the inspection area if the traffic light is green. We couldn't make a reservation at the shops inside Fukuoka Airport, so my colleague and I drank until the last minute before heading back to Tokyo. We left the restaurant 50 minutes before our flight departure time, but if the inspection area is to the south, I think it's okay to leave around 30 minutes before. The dishes include typical Hakata skewers (pork belly, mentaiko chicken wings, miso hormone skewers) and they are delicious. The total bill for two people was a little over 12,000 yen, so the cost performance may not be that great.

This place is highly recommended! The taste is great, the cost performance is good, and the staff are friendly! There are about 10 seats at the counter, around 15 seats in the tatami area at the back, and about 6 seats in the front. The skewers are all delicious, and the mentaiko chicken wings are the best! It's only 1 minute to the airport, so I will definitely stop by on my way back from my flight! Make sure to make a reservation in advance!

I visited "Yakitori Shiramizu" located right in front of Fukuoka Airport. The restaurant is run by what appears to be a couple and some part-time staff. The appetizers and yakitori were delicious and had great value for money. Thank you for the meal.

After returning the rental car and feeling relieved, I enjoyed a visit to a restaurant where I had draft beer and grilled skewers. I ordered various skewers, including pork belly and shiitake mushrooms, in addition to the grilled skewers. Each dish was delicious without any complaints. The restaurant is located in the middle of Fukuoka Airport's terminal building, across the street. The atmosphere was nice, and the counter seats were visible from outside, making it easy for solo diners to enter. The pricing was average, and they offered a variety of drinks such as beer, sake, and shochu. I would rate this restaurant between 3.0 to 3.5 out of 5.

A local izakaya located just a 1-minute walk from Fukuoka Airport. I arrived at 5:30 pm and started with a draft beer and Kanpachi sashimi. The sashimi was delicious. I ordered yakitori skewers such as pork belly, chicken wings, and leeks. They also had a good selection of sake, including local Fukuoka sake like Shinsei. Surprisingly, the tomato salad was quite tasty. I ended the meal with yakisoba. I originally stopped by casually on my way back to Tokyo, but ended up enjoying a purposeful visit to this izakaya.

Originally, my flight was scheduled for tomorrow morning. Due to the heavy snowfall in the Kanto region, it was expected that tomorrow morning's flights would be severely affected, so I rescheduled for tonight's flight. When I arrived at the airport, there was already chaos with cancellations and delays, and the airport counter was bustling. My rescheduled flight was also delayed by 1 hour and 40 minutes. With over 2 hours until departure, I decided to go to the izakaya right in front of the airport. Although I'm sure most of the other customers weren't here waiting for a delayed flight, the place was about 60% full. I enjoyed three beers, a mini motsunabe, and a few sashimi dishes during the hour and a half I spent there. The conversation with the staff and the customer sitting near the counter was also enjoyable. It's inconvenient that the flight is delayed, but the next time there's a delay, I'll definitely come back here to pass the time.

I got off at an airport with more seats than I imagined, and felt relieved to be back in a cozy space. The old man at the restaurant was friendly, and the shochu from Kyushu was truly rich. The yakisoba with thick noodles was delicious and chewy.

This is basically a yakitori restaurant. The gomakampachi is delicious! The burdock tempura is served cold. The chicken and cheese skewers are delicious! They have a limited selection of sake, but some rare brands are available! There is a tatami room in the back. In the front, there are four tables and a counter with about 10 seats. The owner's complaints are quite entertaining.

When I tried to make a reservation, the phone service was not good. What's more, when I called at 8:30 PM last time on a Saturday, they said, "Oh... we're closing already." It would be better if they just told me they were fully booked.

I went there day and night. It was very delicious, and the chef was very kind, so I was very satisfied. Whenever I come to Fukuoka, I definitely want to go there.

I had about 1.5 hours of free time before returning from Haneda to Fukuoka Airport, so I decided to look for a restaurant inside the airport. However, the airport was under renovation and there were few options available, so I decided to go outside the airport. I searched for a tempura restaurant called "Hirano" but it was a 20-minute walk away, so I gave up and went to this restaurant located near the domestic terminal instead. The exterior looked like a yakitori izakaya, and it turned out to be just that inside. I ordered the "Gomosaba" for 580 yen and the "Gindara Mirin" for 580 yen while enjoying a draft beer. For my second round, I switched to local sake and had the "Hakata Jiman" for 500 yen and the "Kokuryu" for 500 yen. I finished off with some "Jidori Liver (Hakata Ichiban Dori)" for 150 yen and "Mentai Tebasaki" for 220 yen. It was a good timing to end the meal, and the total cost was around 3,500 yen. The "Gomosaba" featured red-fleshed mackerel unique to Kyushu and was delicious, despite the smaller portion. The other dishes also passed the mark, although I found them slightly pricey. Overall, it was a tasty yakitori izakaya, which could be a good option when there are limited choices inside the airport.

Although they considered ordering yakitori, they had already eaten enough chicken and beef at the teppanyaki restaurant earlier, so they opted for izakaya menu items to share. They started with fried burdock with mayonnaise, followed by sesame mackerel, and finished with butter-grilled clams, which were perfect for sharing among the three of them.
