Hmm, it didn't taste as good as I expected. I still think red bean paste or custard tastes better. But I think the concept is good, so if they come up with a flavor that matches the dough, it could work out well.

This place is located right inside the front entrance of Kinshicho Marui. It's just a short walk from Kinshicho Station. I happened to pass by after shopping and ended up buying some regular anko, custard, and okonomiyaki for 210 yen. I took it home and it was like a taiyaki shell with pickled ginger, cabbage, bacon, sauce, and mayo inside – it was okonomiyaki. The batter didn't have a sweet taste, but with the pickled ginger and sauce, it tasted just like okonomiyaki. The bacon added a nice salty touch that went well with the sauce. The cabbage was sandwiched inside the batter, so I have to say again – it was okonomiyaki. It was a delicious meal. This is a taste that makes you want to come back for more.

As for the taste, the "Okonomi Taiyaki" is a fusion of taiyaki and okonomiyaki, with ingredients like cabbage, ham, sauce, and mayonnaise inside the taiyaki shell. It is surprisingly delicious and may become addictive. Highly recommended for a quick snack when you're feeling peckish.
