We visited this place for the first time on a Saturday night. It's conveniently located near Shinbashi Station, with a big sign that says "taiyaki" making it easy to spot. After having dinner nearby, we felt like having something sweet, so we decided to stop by. It was great that they were open even at 10 pm. We were able to purchase without any wait, but there were three groups of people eating at the storefront. You can see them baking from the storefront. The anko (sweet red bean paste) and cream inside were really rich and the taiyaki had a crispy and fragrant outer layer. We chose the anko filling this time. The highlight of this taiyaki is definitely the crispy wings. It was a small happiness to get it for 220 yen. I would love to visit again.

The sweet red bean paste is packed inside! The skin is not too crispy or too soft. When freshly made, it is fluffy and delicious.

I felt like eating something sweet, so I got a takeout. There were options with red bean paste and cream, and I chose red bean paste without hesitation. It had wings attached, but for some reason, I ended up eating the wings first and wanting to make it into a clean taiyaki. I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way, haha.

I usually see long lines at this place, but when I went on Wednesday around 6:00 PM, I was able to buy the items right away without waiting. I purchased anko (red bean paste) for 220 yen and custard cream for 240 yen. The wings were chewy and crispy in some parts, and they were delicious. I thought there was a good amount of volume with the wings. The amount of cream and anko was satisfying and very good. The anko was not too sweet and had a nice texture, so I didn't get tired of eating it.

I wanted to eat a taiyaki, but I saw an interesting product called "karinto manju" for 150 yen. Since the taiyaki was priced at 220 yen, I ended up trying it out of curiosity. The outside was crispy. I wonder if it was fried? It felt like a fried manju. If you like fried foods, I recommend it. If you want to fully enjoy the anko filling, then maybe stick with taiyaki.

Cheap and delicious, whenever I pass by this shop I end up buying their black sugar manju (red bean paste) - the last one had a crispy texture and a juicy filling that was irresistible. I also tried their limited edition kashiwa mochi, which was slightly larger and had a smooth, chewy texture that paired perfectly with the sweet bean paste.

The yakitori with cream at Kanda Tatsumaro is a must-try! Last time I had the red bean paste, so today I went for the cream. The crispy dough with oozing custard cream, not too sweet, creates a perfect harmony with the dough's sweetness. I couldn't resist stopping by after work... their strawberry daifuku is also excellent. It's a popular choice for businessmen to bring as a gift to clubs in Ginza on weekends!

I walked a great distance from Tsukiji through Ginza to Shinbashi. We couldn't agree on where to have tea, so we decided to head back. But then, on the other side of the intersection, we found taiyaki, which my husband loves. It was a hit. I prefer custard, but after trying the red bean paste, I think it's probably more popular here. I always debate whether to start eating from the head or the tail, but I haven't decided yet. My husband prefers starting from the head. The question of which end to eat first remains unanswered! 😄

■Taiyaki with wings, red bean paste filling ¥220
I happened to come across this shop a while ago. It's rare to find taiyaki with wings! The dough and red bean paste were both delicious, satisfying, and enjoyable to eat.■Deep-fried manju with sweet potato filling and brown sugar flavor ¥150
A deep-fried manju with a black sugar flavor. The Naruto Kintoki sweet potato filling was amazing. The outside was crispy and crunchy, and when you bite into it, it crumbles with a softness. I was convinced that this is the true deep-fried manju with sweet potato filling. I came for the taiyaki, but I was so impressed by this deep-fried manju with sweet potato filling. It was a delightful encounter. I want everyone to try it!!※Around 2 pm on Saturday, no waiting time, no lines. Payment method: PayPay. Thank you for the meal!

The taiyaki shop "Hanetsuki no Taiyaki" near Ginza Hachome, which is around Shinbashi Station, seems to have slightly less crispy wings. I think it would be better to bake them a little longer. The amount of filling is quite generous.

I was planning to take out, but decided to enjoy a warm taiyaki on the bench inside the shop. It might have been my first time eating taiyaki with the tail on. It wasn't crispy. Since it wasn't freshly baked, the red bean filling wasn't dangerously hot and was easy to eat. The sakura mochi had a sakura-flavored white bean paste.

What's going on? Is there a taiyaki boom due to Corona? Suddenly, two taiyaki shops have opened near Shinbashi Station. One of them is Kanda Daruma, where a taiyaki costs 220 yen. They also sell karinto and daifuku, mainly for takeout, but if the weather is good, there are two benches outside where you can sit and eat. If you want to eat it right away, they will make it fresh for you after you order. The crispy skin with fluffy red bean paste inside is delicious. I have also tried takeout, but the skin tends to get soggy, so if possible, eating on the spot is the best!

I found a shop while working in Shinbashi. Since I hadn't had lunch, I decided to buy a taiyaki at least. There was no line that day, so they baked it after I ordered. It took about 4 minutes. Thanks to that, I was able to eat a hot taiyaki. It was delicious. However, as far as taiyaki from taiyaki shops go, it was relatively ordinary. In fact, they are all delicious, but I don't feel a significant difference that would be impressive, which is my image of a taiyaki shop. This shop also gave me that kind of feeling. It is called "winged," but I didn't really see the point. Of course, there is no filling in the wings. Still, freshly baked taiyaki is delicious, and as a fast food that you can buy and eat, it is quite excellent. It's filling and affordable. The location is good too, so I think I will buy it again. Thank you for the meal!

Tsubuan (red bean paste) taiyaki is actually cheaper than custard cream taiyaki, surprisingly (lol). It's best to eat it fresh out of the oven, or if you take it home, you can crisp up the wings and enjoy them. The crispy skin with the wings is a selling point. The custard cream is a bit sticky and has a more common flavor. The red bean paste has firm grains that give it a nice texture. However, having this many taiyaki when living alone might be both happy and not so happy (bitter smile). Ideally, the best part of taiyaki is eating it fresh and hot. Well, without getting into details, thanks for the meal! ☆彡

Today, I had a light lunch, so I couldn't resist buying a cream-filled taiyaki from Kanda Daruma. However, unlike the crispy taiyaki I had before, this one was moist and honestly, I would have preferred it without the outer layer. Maybe I should have just stuck with the strawberry daifuku instead. (^_^;)

I visited "Taiyaki Kanda Daruma Ginza Store," located about a 4-minute walk from Shinbashi Station towards Ginza and Yurakucho. The shop has a prominent exterior and is situated in a spacious area, making it attractive for a quick stop to enjoy a bite. The "Taiyaki with Red Bean Paste" I had was filled generously with sweet red bean paste, perfectly complementing the crispy skin. It was a delicious and satisfying taiyaki.

After drinking, I passed by here. They have two types of taiyaki here, with red bean paste and custard. I got the red bean paste and reheated it at home. It was just a normal taiyaki. The skin was thin, and the red bean paste was not too sweet, which was good. The tail part was thin and not particularly chewy, so honestly, it could do without it. But just the fact that it's a square taiyaki makes it look nice and somehow gets you excited. If I have the chance, I would like to try the custard one.

It's a crispy taiyaki with a crunchy outer layer. The dough and filling are standard, but the texture is nicely crispy. It's from a chain store, but better balanced than Yanagiya. Priced at 200 yen each, it's a bit on the expensive side, but worth a try for tourists.

There is a take-out only taiyaki shop in front of Shinbashi Station. The address is in Minato-ku, Shinbashi, with a convenient location right in front of Shinbashi Station, but it's actually called "Kanda Daruma Ginza Shop". Is it Kanda? Shinbashi? Ginza? It's quite a confusing name, isn't it? I happened to be in Shinbashi for some errands at the time. I was looking for souvenirs for my family and came across the shop emitting a lovely aroma with the word "omiyage" (souvenir)!! And the taiyaki here is not just any taiyaki. It has wings attached. Well, it's just a bit more dough for the skin, but it looks new and different. I bought red bean and cream flavors. They prepared it freshly baked for me!! I immediately tried one on the spot. The skin is crispy!! Especially the wing part is crunchy, which is delicious. The red bean and cream fillings are also generous. Be careful not to burn yourself if it's freshly baked. It looks appealing, the price is reasonable, and it's easy for both the giver and the receiver. This would make a great souvenir, I thought. ◆◇◆ Postscript ◆◇◆ While waiting for my order, I witnessed a woman who looked like a hostess in Ginza buying a large quantity of mitarashi dango. I see, so this place is indeed in Ginza. It's definitely different from your average street vendor. It's like a high-class Japanese sweet from a department store basement!! I see, even in the nightlife of Ginza, these kinds of treats are popular. I learned something that's not easy to come by, and I hope to visit again. I had a veggie sausage and carbonated drink for lunch at IKEA, but I got hungry again in no time. So, it's snack time. I had a taiyaki. In the summer, I tend to lose my craving for taiyaki. It was warm today, but it was a nice day to eat outside. I went to Shinbashi in a hurry. There are chairs here, although it's simple. The taiyaki was not freshly made, but it was still hot. I prefer the skin over the red bean paste, so I really like the taiyaki covered in skin from Kanda Daruma. The red bean paste is refreshing and easy to eat. It's quite a contrast to be eating taiyaki while looking at shops selling adult items on the bustling Takeshita Street.
