I went to Osaka as part of the Welcome to Osaka campaign. The hotel was clean and tidy. I had a twin room with an extra bed, so it was a bit small, but it couldn't be helped. Breakfast buffet was included. They had partitions made of plastic in the middle of the tables for infection prevention. There weren't many options, but the food was delicious.

I stayed overnight and had a bento box for dinner, and a buffet for breakfast. The dinner bento included fried horse mackerel and nikujaga (a meat and potato stew) with a gentle flavor and generous portion. The breakfast buffet had a surprisingly wide variety, including Osaka specialties like takoyaki and udon. There were many options for both Western and Japanese dishes. The atmosphere was like a cafeteria, with no individual tables, which was a bit disappointing, but it might be more convenient for a training facility.

Intex has exhibitions that you can walk to. For breakfast, there is a buffet with various traditional options. There is a unique dish called Sakai Teppozu. It is a dish where you eat takoyaki with broth. It is popular in the Sakai area. The name comes from the prosperity brought by matchlock guns to the region. It is said that the name Teppozu comes from the bullets of the matchlock gun, which is a play on words with takoyaki. Overall, it was delicious and informative.
