I visited the store in the early afternoon on May 1st and found that the assortment of goods was decent. Following PanScape and Denden, I decided to purchase only the toast bread that I really liked from my previous visit. The butter spread on top was absorbed well, without leaving any stains on the bottom. It managed to keep all the butter inside the bread. I recently realized how amazing this toast bread is. The bread at this store all has this great butter absorption quality, similar to the cakes at a patisserie where the moisture and oil are retained well within the dough. This type of bread allows for a large amount of cabbage to be added in a sandwich without making it watery, thanks to the dough's ability to retain moisture and create a soft and moist texture. There were only a few loaves of toast bread left on the shelf, so I was unsure if they would sell out for the day. Despite being featured on a national TV show like Aiba Manabu, the cabbage sandwich was still available on that day, but it seems that on holidays, they may sell out quickly.

Inside the shop, there are stylish and delicious-looking breads lined up! The beef tendon curry bread has a runny half-boiled egg inside! The caprese with mozzarella cheese and tomatoes is perfect for breakfast when eaten with a cafe au lait! The canele has a caramel outer crust with a moist and sweet inside that is delicious. The pistachio croissant and hazelnut angel are also recommended.

The store was crowded. It's a popular place. The baguette is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The toast is freshly baked and fluffy. The nori cheese is perfect for snacks. It's a bit sweet. In particular, the toast is delicious with a hint of wheat.

I visited at lunchtime on a regular day. The restaurant was crowded with lots of people, showing that it is quite popular locally. I had my meal in a peaceful park nearby. Although each item is a bit pricey, they are definitely delicious! The fig and cream cheese bread (248 yen) was excellent! The texture of the bread, the balance of cream cheese and fig, and the hint of sugar on the surface were perfect. The pistachio croissant (346 yen) was also delicious. It had custard cream inside and was sweet, so it might be good as a dessert. I realized that Ichijoji is not just about ramen, haha.

There are plenty of rich and heavy pastries! In addition to the famous curry bread with a half-cooked egg inside, there are sandwiches with plenty of cabbage (coleslaw) perfect for picnics, red bean butter donuts, thick frankfurter hot dogs, mascarpone figs, and canelés. I'm worried about the calories, but it's hard to choose just one pastry... Note that there is no parking lot.

Curry bread is packed with ingredients and heavy, while the octopus ajillo is delicious with a refreshing tomato acidity (although I didn't eat it right away, so the ingredients soaked into the baguette and made it soft). The pistachio croissant has a lot of custard cream inside and is heavy (a happy complaint) - I want to eat it again.

I went there for the first time because it was featured on TV. There were so many delicious options to choose from, but I ended up getting 6 different items including sweets. The bread with a punch was also great! Picnic sandwich, curry bread, bacon epi, canele, croissant, donut, muffin, and tea.

There were no customers in the store at 3 pm on a regular day, but two people came in while I was there. There were many creative breads, from sandwiches to baguettes to hamburgers to canelés. I wanted to buy so many things! I bought a canelé, an almond croissant, and a curry bread with a soft-boiled egg (no photo). It cost 820 yen for the three items. The curry bread was still warm and delicious, with a crispy texture. Next, I want to try the cookies and stollen. This bakery is highly recommended!

I got off at Ichijoji Station and immediately found a shop bustling with customers! It's a bakery called "Pan no Chihare" with a wide variety of delicious-looking bread displayed. The exterior is stylish and natural, creating a vibrant atmosphere inside with many bread options. I decided to buy some bread to take home. Today's order included: (Half-boiled egg curry bread) ¥302, (Juicy frankfurter) ¥270, (Yuzu red bean butter) ¥302, (Raisin butter sandwich) ¥302, and (Canele) ¥216. Each bread had a satisfying taste and great value for the price. The half-boiled egg curry bread had a crispy outer texture and a fluffy inside, with a rich and creamy curry flavor that matched perfectly with the egg. The juicy frankfurter had a crunchy and juicy texture, bursting with flavor. The yuzu red bean butter had a delightful combination of yuzu fragrance, sweet red bean, and butter. The raisin butter sandwich was cute with a generous amount of raisin butter, offering a balanced sweetness. The Canele provided various textures to enjoy. All the bread had a cute appearance and delicious taste, making them a perfect gift. They are great as a takeaway gourmet option. I highly recommend trying them out!

The curry bread is delicious. The outside is crispy and quite firm. Not flaky or crunchy, but crispy. This texture is really good. The curry inside is not too spicy. There's also a half-boiled egg inside. The bread is soft and chewy. They also had a bread with cabbage and scrambled egg on top, and if the bread alone is this good, then that one must be tasty too. They had a wide variety of bread, from savory to sweet.

The curry bread with half-boiled egg is absolutely delicious! Although there is no parking lot and they are not open early in the morning, so it's a bit difficult to visit, whenever I'm near Ichijoji, I always want to stop by this bakery. They have a variety of high-calorie bread, but the taste is always amazing, with no disappointments. I want to buy all the breads and take them home.

I really like the bread here ❤️ The famous one is the curry bread with a whole egg in the middle! And the Quinamman butter has a rich aroma, and the pistachio croissant is crispy on the outside and melts inside. You definitely have to go and try it! If you go around 6 o'clock, it's almost sold out, so it's better to go early!

- Soft-boiled Egg Curry Bread 302 yen
I had heard great reviews about this curry bread with a soft-boiled egg, so I was determined to try it. It turned out to be quite large, so I asked the staff if it would be difficult to share with my husband. They offered to cut it for me, which was a pleasant surprise. I reheated it at home and the egg was perfectly runny without being too firm. The bread was crispy, and it was filled with plenty of meat and potatoes. I can see why it's so popular, and I definitely want to buy it again.
- Sliced Bread (2 slices of 5 slices) 130 yen
I found out that they sell sliced bread individually, but I opted for a pack of 2 slices. The bread was soft and stretchy, and I lightly toasted it to retain its texture. It was delicious!
- Pistachio Croissant 302 yen
Despite being small, this croissant was quite heavy due to the generous amount of custard cream inside. The croissant dough was more cake-like than crispy, with a moist and chewy texture. It was overall sweet, with more of a buttery taste than pistachio. I really enjoyed it.
- Premium Croissant 216 yen
This was a classic crispy croissant. I was able to pay with PayPay. I would love to visit again when using Eizan Ichijoji Station.

I purchased the last cream puff labeled as the "featured item" on the final day of a special event.
- Cream Puff 270 yen (special event price)
This cream puff has an oval shape with brioche dough. The bread was sweet, but the custard cream inside was refreshing. It was a well-balanced and classic cream puff that I would definitely buy again.

A stylish bakery right in front of Ichijoji Station. There are attractive breads lined up and it's hard to choose.
- Caprese ¥324 tax included: "A colorful bread with mozzarella cheese, tomato, and basil sauce. Delicious. Well, it's obviously delicious. The fluffy soft bread with Caprese on top is delicious!
- Whole Wiener ¥173 tax included: "A fluffy bread wrapped around a Wiener, topped with ketchup and mayonnaise."
- Croissant Donut (Cinnamon flavor) ¥248 tax included: "Croissant turned into a donut! The ultimate combination of butter and sugar. The strong message of 'Throw away any guilt!' is conveyed by the butter and sugar. It was a bit hard to bite through, but delicious."

I stopped by "pan nochi hare〜ぱんのちはれ" on my way back from "Sobatsuru" since I never know when I'll be back in Ichijoji. It's just a minute's walk from the station, nestled cutely on the corner. The interior is small but filled with delicious breads clamoring for attention. The most popular item is the "shokupan" followed by dishes like the "croque monsieur" made with that bread, and the "oozing soft-boiled egg curry bread," as well as the "tako no ajillo" for a drink pairing. I bought the oozing soft-boiled egg curry bread and the mackerel, cream cheese, and addictive cucumber sandwich. Since there is no seating, I took them home and enjoyed them as a snack in the evening. When I split open the curry bread, there was a truly oozing soft-boiled egg inside! It reminded me of the days when I used to top my curry at C&C Curry in Shinjuku with a raw egg. I had forgotten about that past favorite combination. The balance of the mackerel, cream cheese, and addictive cucumber sandwich was also excellent. The other cute breads were calling out to me as well, making me feel like I was in a pet shop. Reluctantly, I headed home, with memories of the delicious treats lingering in my mind.

Curry bread ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The outer crust is crispy, inside there is a half-boiled egg, and plenty of curry (the meat in the curry is delicious). It's the best. I visited around 2:30 pm on Saturday, there were about 3 customers inside the store (due to COVID measures, only up to 5 customers are allowed inside at a time) and I was able to enter without waiting in line. Even though it was past lunchtime, there were plenty of bread lined up and the curry bread was still warm.
Pistachio croissant ⭐️⭐️
It had custard cream inside and was delicious. I ate it the next morning, so the texture was a bit different.
Fig and cream cheese bread ⭐️⭐️⭐️
The cream cheese and fig were slightly salty and delicious.
There is no parking lot, but if you park at the designated parking lot, there is a discount available for purchases over 1500 yen.

Octopus ajillo bread. A bread with ajillo on top, reversing the idea of dipping bread into ajillo. The taste is normal. Curry bread with runny half-boiled egg. A combination of special curry with beef tendons and a half-boiled egg. The crust is crispy, the bread is soft, and the curry is runny when mixed with the half-boiled egg. It was freshly fried, so it was even more delicious. There are many other side dish breads, and I would like to try different kinds of bread as well.

I went to a shop I was curious about. There were delicious-looking breads lined up, including muffins and scones. I tried the mascarpone red bean bun and, although not in the photo, the curry bun with a half-cooked egg inside. They were delicious. The curry bun was freshly fried. Also, when you buy bread, you get one piece of bread crust per person. It made me happy.笑

Next to the store there is a little space. The entrance is a small step up, so they have made an effort but it's a bit steep. When you enter, there is alcohol on the left hand side, with tongs and a tray, and you choose your bread by going left. It can get crowded with 4 or 5 people, so there is a limit on the number of people when it's busy. They also inform you about the freshly baked bread on their Instagram story, which is a nice touch. The atmosphere of the store is great. There are many types of bread to choose from, making it fun. The design is stylish but welcoming. All the staff are kind and have lovely smiles. I think the wife plays a unique instrument and the husband is a professional wrestler or something, quite unique. At first it seems cute, but when you eat the bread, it has a more authentic feel. I see, so the excitement before eating is also part of the bread's taste. I have a fond memory of the half-cooked curry bread I had here, but the one I randomly bought was so delicious! The Manul bread with garlic butter soaked in it, with cream cheese added sweetness with sugar and honey, was addictive! I completely ignored the freshly baked Bacon Epi and ended up getting excited about the delicious Manul bread. The pairing plan, I see. Of course, there is ramen as well... If you have the chance, I recommend the "Ichijoji Hare no Hi" course, where you can buy a book or miscellaneous goods at Keibunsha, look at art, buy bread, get takeout coffee at Akatsuki Coffee, and relax in the park while reading a book and enjoying the bread.

*Raisin Butter Sandwich ¥302 *Croissant Donut ¥216 *Salsa Dog ¥216
When you think of Ichijoji, you might imagine a fierce battle of ramen shops, but there are also delicious bakeries. Various types of bread are piled up, making it exciting to choose.
The Raisin Butter Sandwich had figs and cranberries in addition to raisins. The bread dough contains large almonds and macadamia nuts, giving it a crunchy texture. The chewy texture of the bread, the popping texture of the figs, and the crunchy texture of the nuts make the experience delightful.
The Croissant Donut combines the best of croissants and donuts, making it 100 times more delicious! It is sprinkled with cinnamon powder, sometimes reminding you of a cinnamon roll.
As for the Salsa Dog, I got it fresh from the oven. I thought it might be spicy, but the red sauce turned out to be homemade tomato sauce, so it's not spicy at all! There is plenty of cheese, almost like an avalanche, making it a taste that is easy for both children and adults to enjoy. ☺️

■Visit Date: February 5, 2022■Items Received: See below■MEMOI visited this delicious bakery in Ichijoji, Kyoto on February 5, 2022. The atmosphere inside the store is warm and inviting, with a wide variety of bread that can make it hard to choose. It's a popular shop with long lines. This time, I purchased the following 5 types of bread:・Creamy soft-boiled egg curry bread・6-slice loaf bread・Thick-cut loaf bread・Ichijoji tofu gratin bread・Garlic breadAll the bread was delicious and to our liking. The curry bread had a large soft-boiled egg inside, creating a spicy and creamy combination that was addictive and satisfying. The Ichijoji tofu gratin bread was exquisite, making me rethink how bread can be enjoyed. The loaf bread did not disappoint, with a crispy aroma when toasted that added to its delightful taste. Each bite was a burst of deliciousness. I would love to try other bread options from this shop.■Bloghttps://ay-style.net/
