When I went to Ocean View, it was closed, so I heard that Wasyokuhon on the first floor of the same building serves Ocean View's omurice. I decided to try it and ordered a small omurice, which turned out to be quite small. I regret not ordering the regular size, as Ocean View's omurice is usually large. I miss the days when Ocean View was located along Minato Street!

I had a tempura set meal. The amount of tempura was generous, so I think it was a good deal. The vegetable, fish, and shrimp tempura were crispy and delicious. The rice was also refillable, so it's better to go on an empty stomach. It seems like they can also make special bento boxes if you make a reservation.

I visited Han-san for lunch after they relocated to a newly built building in Tempozan. The distance of the move was only a few dozen meters. It's a great location, just a 1-minute walk from Osaka Port Station. The new building looks amazing, occupying the first floor. And guess what, on the second floor, there's Ocean View, famous for its omurice! I was surprised by how beautiful the building looked, reminiscent of the excitement I felt when I visited the Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan. The interior is clean and spacious, with a charming Japanese-style decor. There are a few counter seats, but the main seating is at tables, with around 10 four-person tables. On this day, I ordered the daily special, chicken curry flavored grilled dish. As the name suggests, it's a simple dish of chicken grilled with curry flavor. It was delicious, but I remember it being even tastier before they moved. I think I would have enjoyed the tonkatsu set meal or sashimi set meal more. They also offer a variety of 8 set meals, so you won't get bored with the menu. An acquaintance's grandfather used to come here for lunch every day! The relocation and renovation have made it a more accessible place to drop by. If you ever get lost in Osaka Port, this is the spot to go to. Thank you for the meal!
